Welcome to Strugwood High, where surviving school is just as hard as surviving the streets.
Set in the heart of an urban neighborhood, Ghetto GPA follows a group of teens navigating the messy reality of high school life—family trauma, street pressure, young love, secrets, and the never-ending grind to graduate. Sophomore year kicks off with drama and chaos as six teens from totally different walks of life end up in the same school. But nothing about their stories is picture-perfect.
Meet Jamila, the misunderstood pick-me with a broken home and a dangerous secret. Kaleem, a lowkey gangbanger with hoop dreams and no way out. Vaela, the straight-A cheerleader hiding her queerness from her strict parents. Benji, the mysterious creative with emotional baggage and trust issues. Jaylen, the flashy rapper who’s just tryna stay focused. And Skye, the confident baddie who’s all about independence, but maybe not when it comes to Jaylen.
Together, they’ll face real-life problems—from teen pregnancy, poverty, and mental health to fake friends, failing grades, and trying not to fall in love with the wrong person.
