🎬 GHETTO GPA | A Sims 4 Series
Welcome to Strugwood High, where surviving school is just as hard as surviving the streets.
Set in the heart of an urban neighborhood, Ghetto GPA follows a group of teens navigating the messy reality of high school life—family trauma, street pressure, young love, secrets, and the never-ending grind to graduate. Sophomore year kicks off with drama and chaos as six teens from totally different walks of life end up in the same school. But nothing about their stories is picture-perfect.
Meet Jamila, the misunderstood pick-me with a broken home and a dangerous secret. Kaleem, a lowkey gangbanger with hoop dreams and no way out. Vaela, the straight-A cheerleader hiding her queerness from her strict parents. Benji, the mysterious creative with emotional baggage and trust issues. Jaylen, the flashy rapper who’s just tryna stay focused. And Skye, the confident baddie who’s all about independence, but maybe not when it comes to Jaylen.
Together, they’ll face real-life problems—from teen pregnancy, poverty, and mental health to fake friends, failing grades, and trying not to fall in love with the wrong person.

Voice type: Sassy, vulnerable, attention-seeking
About: Jamila is a 15-year-old sophomore who’s developed a “pick me” attitude as a survival tactic. She craves male attention to mask deep emotional scars from being assaulted young, living with a drug-addicted mom and a bitter, jealous aunt. She’s loud, flirty, and messy—but under all that, she’s scared and desperate to be loved. She is also a part of the track team at Strugwood.
Emotion range: From giggly and flirtatious to tearful and emotionally raw.
I mean… yeah, I flirt. So what? These dudes love attention and I’m just givin’ it to ‘em.
You don’t get it. I didn’t ask for this life. I didn’t choose to grow up like this.
You think you better than me? Girl, please. Just ‘cause you ain’t showin’ don’t mean you not hiding something too.
Voice type: Confident, smooth, a little cocky
About: Jaylen is a charismatic rapper and student who seems like he has it all. He’s stylish, girls love him, and he knows how to take over a room. But under all the flash, he’s really trying to figure out who he is and what love means. His relationship gets toxic, and it hits him hard.
Emotion range: Cool and confident → frustrated → emotionally real and vulnerable.
[Cool] “Everything I do? Too easy. Rap, girls, grades when I try—light work.”
[Deep] “Sometimes I feel like people only like me for what I do… not who I am.”
[Frustrated] “Man, I’m tryna be good. But y’all keep actin’ like I’m the villain no matter what I do.”
Voice type: Chill, mellow, low-energy but thoughtful
About: Benji is a laid-back music lover who stays in his own world. He’s not flashy, but he’s deep and observant. He writes raps and poetry and doesn’t care about popularity. He’s super loyal but can come across a little awkward or passive.
Emotion range: Relaxed and funny → quietly intense → emotionally supportive.
[Calm] “I don’t really talk a lot. I just let the music do that for me.”
[Playful] “So I wrote a verse about you.”
Vaela is the nerdy, petite cheerleader with super strict but loving parents. She always strives to be perfect, but she’s secretly gay and terrified to come out. She’s used to being underestimated or bullied but always claps back when needed.
Emotion range: Studious and polite → snappy and defensive → tearful and anxious.
Sorry I’m not out partying and failing classes like y’all. My bad for having goals.
I want to tell them… I do. But what if they never look at me the same again?
Nah, you don’t get to call me weak just ‘cause I won’t fight. I fight every day—just not with my fists.
Voice type: Bold, sassy, emotionally guarded
About: Skye is that it-girl—beautiful, stylish, and unapologetically confident. She’s creative and funny, but she has trust issues and keeps people at arm’s length. Her relationship with Jaylen is complicated: passionate, messy, and full of drama. She is part of the track team at Strugwood and is very good at what she does.
Emotion range: Flirty and spicy → angry and loud → heartbroken and defensive.
[Sassy] “Keep playin’ with me, I dare you.
[Heartbroken] “You said I was different. That I wasn’t like them. So what changed?”
[Bossed up] “I’m not begging no boy to choose me. I’m the prize—remember that.”
ChiChi is Vaela’s ride-or-die best friend. She’s the one who’ll hype you up before a test and roast your ex in the same breath. She’s bubbly, loyal, and full of personality—but behind all that energy, she’s also dealing with a chronic illness (sickle cell). Still, ChiChi doesn’t want pity; she wants respect. She might miss school sometimes, but don’t ever think she’s falling behind.
Voice Type: Energetic, bold, slight sass with vulnerability underneath. Medium-to-high pitch, Urban, & Gen Z tone.
Everybody in this school fake. That’s why I stay in my bubble—with you.
They’re hatin’ on you ‘cause they could never be you. Stay focused, you got bigger things to worry about.
I don’t care how bad your day was—you’re still that girl. Period.
Trey is Jamila’s sneaky link… and Jazzie’s boyfriend. He is Smooth, sneaky, and always one step ahead. He plays the role of loving boyfriend when he’s with Jazzie, but behind closed doors, he’s whispering sweet nothings to Jamila like they’re soulmates. Trey is toxic, but he’s not heartless he just doesn’t know how to stop playing the game.
Voice Type: Flirty, cocky, laid-back tone with hidden layers. Urban Gen Z voice with confidence.
You already know it’s different with you. I don’t talk to Jazzie like this… she don’t get me the way you do.
I’ve been chillin’, forreal. I ain’t even been around nobody but you.
Why you go through my phone? That’s crazy. You really think I’d do that to you?
Jazzie is the captain of the cheer squad, Trey’s girlfriend, and the self-proclaimed queen bee of the school. She’s not your typical “mean girl”—she doesn’t have to be loud or messy to make you feel beneath her. While she’s not intentionally cruel, her confidence borders on condescending. She has a soft spot for Trey, but she’s way too focused on her image to realize what he’s really on behind the scenes.
Voice Type: Confident, polished, slightly sassy. Speaks with authority, but always in control.
I don’t have beef with anybody. I just don’t associate with certain people.
Being captain isn’t just about cheering. It’s about standards. And some of y’all don’t have any.
Winter is a well-meaning, slightly overprotective mother who struggles to connect with her daughter as she grows more independent. She’s loving, but there’s a quiet emotional distance that makes her feel misunderstood.
Voice Type: Soft-spoken but firm, emotionally layered, with a slightly tired or wistful edge.
I know you think I’m always on your back, but everything I say—it’s not to control you. I just worry.
You’re not a little girl anymore… I get that. But don’t shut me out, Skye. I’m still your mother.
You can have your attitude later. Right now, you’re gonna listen—and you’re gonna understand I’m not your little friend, I’m your mother.
Chill, supportive, and wise without trying too hard. Jaylen’s dad is the kind of parent who lets his son figure life out but steps in with calm advice when it matters most. Think: the “cool dad” who still makes sure grades come first.
Voice Type: Laid-back, medium to deep tone, smooth and grounded.
Look, I ain’t gonna tell you what to do with your life, but just don’t let it all go to waste, alright? Handle your business.
If rapping’s what you wanna do, cool. But remember—rapping don’t last forever. That degree will.
I wasn’t perfect at your age either. Just don’t make the same dumb mistakes I did. Learn from ‘em.
Vaela’s mom is a no-nonsense, God-fearing, education-first type of mother who doesn’t play games—but underneath her firmness is deep care and protection.
You won’t catch her slacking, and she expects the same from her child.
Voice Type: Firm but warm. Mature, confident tone with a slight edge. East Coast/urban mom energy.
I know I’m hard on you sometimes. But it’s because I see everything you could be—and I’m not about to let you settle for less.
While your friends are worried about Instagram likes, you need to be worried about scholarship deadlines.
You are a Black girl in this world. That means you gotta be twice as sharp, twice as strong.
Jamila’s aunt Rochelle took her in after her mother fell deep into addiction—but her “care” comes with strings, shade, and silent resentment. She didn’t ask to raise another kid, and she makes sure Jamila knows it. Rochelle is cold, sarcastic, and constantly compares Jamila to “what she could’ve been” if life had gone differently. She’s not evil—just broken, bitter, and emotionally checked out. Her love is conditional, and her words always carry a sting, even when she’s pretending to be supportive.
Voice Type: Sharp, dismissive, tired tone.
Your mama couldn’t even raise you right, and now I gotta clean up her mess? Mm
You think the world owes you something ‘cause you had it rough? Baby, we all had it rough. Grow up.
Don’t bring no boys to this house. Last thing I need is you turnin’ into your mama.
Rainn is a part of the cheer team; she is the sweetest out of everyone.
Tone: Friendly, Sweet, Soft Spoken

Kaelyn is a cheerleader on the cheer team.

Miracle is a cheerleader on the cheer team.

Dre is a high-ranking member of the gang that Shaheem and Kaleem run with. He’s been in the streets since he was a teenager. He is quietly intimidating and he’s not flashy like the younger dudes; he’s strategic, calculating, and always watching. To Dre, loyalty is everything—and weakness gets people killed. Whether he’s mentoring or manipulating, he’s a dangerous man to cross.
Voice Type: Low, calm, and controlled. Speaks with slow authority, very matter-of-fact. Minimal emotion.
You either all in or you out. There’s no halfway lil bro.
Keep playin’ around if you want to.
Principal Bolton is a strong woman with a BBL that can hold two champagne glasses. She’s always put-together, and always two steps ahead of the nonsense. While her tone is sweet and her heels click cheerfully through the hallways, her eyes miss nothing. She knows every student’s business and she handles drama with a smile. She is sweet to all of her students and she definitely is the second mother figure they all need.
Voice Type: Warm and polished with a lil’ sass underneath. Energetic but firm, like a boss auntie who works in education.
You think I don’t know what’s goin’ on? Baby, I was 16 once.
Let’s go. To class. Now.
Lunch Lady Ms. Dobson is the school’s warm, cheerful kitchen angel—always ready with a smile, a snack, and a “how’s your mama doing?” for every student.
Oh sugar, you know I saved your favorite.
Now I don’t know what’s going on with y’all, but y’all be kind to each other, mmkay?
You will be casted as a background character this is a simpler role if your nervous or just want to do something small. You can create your own line if you want.
