Generation Nova -video game trailer voice over
Project Overview
I'm currently creating a short teaser trailer for a game while also releasing a Steam page. The trailer is about 50 seconds long and will feature about 20 seconds of voice over. I'm doing this as a hobby and can't promise any fame or fortune. So the project is done on a $0 budget. The game will have a price tag once released. Currently I feel like the project is more of a "for fun" or a student project since I'm currently learning a lot of the stuff from scratch. I started developing games a couple years back so I'm still taking baby steps. I understand and appreciate if you don't want to do free work for a product that might be making revenue in the end.
Complete voice over:
"Sleeping and waiting for centuries. That was our task while inside the cryo chambers.
Well.. it didn't work out..
This is our new home for now. Maybe one day our grand children will finally land on the new planet.
But us... This ship will be our generations final resting place."
GENERATION NOVA is a strategy game of resource and colony management. The spacefaring passengers are stuck on the huge space ship after being awoken from cryo-sleep centuries too early. The player has to balance their needs and resources to keep the passengers alive, happy and hopefully build a community large enough that hopefully one day the last generation on the ship will land on a habitable planet and start their new life on the ground. Do not expand too fast or you might not have enough workforce to feed the children.

Melancholic, hopeful. The character has woken up from a cryo sleep centuries too early inside a huge space ship. He realizes that he will live his days inside the ship with a handful of other people. They will never arrive at their destination, but hopefully their grand children will.
