Project Overview
Hello! My name is Anonamystery and this is a brief synopsis of my series Gatekeepers. Gatekeepers is a story about a group of teens gifted with magical powers in order to protect their city from invading monsters called Outlanders. Together they fight Outlander, uncover secrets, and learn who their true enemy is. I hope you're willing to help me bring this project to life.

Tohru is the team leader of her city's Gatekeeper team. She is the most responsible of the group (and the oldest at 18) and does her best to keep order among her teammates. She has a lot of secrets and isn't as open as the others. That doesn't mean she's dark or mean. Tohru cares a lot about everyone and the well being of others. Sometimes this even includes her enemies. I don't have an exact voice I'm looking for, but I think I'd like a voice that's between medium and high ranged. Last thing is that her name is pronounced Toe- rue.
I can seal these critters away, but in order to do that I need you to stall one of them long enough for me open a Gate. Can you do that for me?
(awkwardly/embarrassed) Hey, I didn't name them, okay. That's their given names. Or at least what they translate to.
(disappointed) I expect you to be there when you say you will be. Being a Gatekeeper is a lot of responsibility. People are counting on you to keep them safe and have their backs.

Atsuko is probably the rowdiest of the group. She's a 16 year old sophomore at an all girls' school. She a tomboy who becomes good friends with Hinata (another Gatekeeper who also goes to her school). Atsuko struggles to balance her personal life with the life of a Gatekeeper, and that sometimes takes a toll on the team. She has a tendency to not think before she acts, and is always up for a fight. Nonetheless, Atsuko is loyal and defensive of those close to her. She's a good friend and protector. For her voice I'd like a medium ranged voice. She does sometimes let her temper get the best of her so please prepare to get some angry blowup scenes. Her name is pronounce Aht-sue-koh
Ah, don’t worry about it. I thought it was pretty weird she could talk to them too when I first met her.
So of course I accepted the challenge. Someone had to. Even if you didn’t want to be our leader I wasn’t going to let some rando start bossing me around.
(frustrated) I said I was sorry. I can't help it if I get stuck. My friends are already growing suspicious of me. Having to keep our identities a secret certainly doesn't help either.

Hikari is a junior in high school. She’s the most stuck up on the group, and often thinks she is better than her other teammates. She is fairly crafty and manipulated, but learns to change her ways thanks to the rest of the Gatekeepers. She believes that all Outlanders, the monsters that invade their city, should be killed, which leads to her butting heads with Tohru a lot. For Hikari I would prefer a high pitched voice, but anyone can audition. Who knows I may change my mind. Her name is pronounced Hee-Car-ee.
Is that what Tohru told you? She probably just tells you that to keep you from growing. She wants you two to depend on her.
I notice you two have on the St. Camillia’s uniform. There’s no way I could go to an all girl school.
(threatening towards the end)Fool! I’m your new leader, and that means you're supposed to follow, my orders, got it! You and Hinata lost fair and square did you not? Then fall in line. Or do I need to beat you down again.

Ren is a 16 year old girl who attends the same school as Hikari and has been a Gatekeeping duo with her since her debut. Ren is the most mysterious member of the team often leaving right after the Outlander is defeated. Because of this, Ren is very quiet, and much like Tohru, doesn't disclose too much personal information. I would like a neutral voice for Ren. Her voice is pronounced Rehn.
Just tell her the truth, already.
*sigh* Fine then. I guess I’ll do it. Not long after you left, I joined your little Gatekeeper team. Uh, that is what you call it right? Whatever, well, long story short, our team was disbanded
Just stop following me already! I don't need you help! Just go back to the others!

Haven’t you been listening during history class? The government tried doing that when the Outlanders first started appearing seven years ago, but the Outlanders were appearing too frequently, and there were too many. We didn’t have the resources to keep fighting them.
Besides killing them doesn’t solve the problem. You kill one, and more come after. Like a hydra.

Unfortunately for him, he ends up being in the wrong place at the wrong time, and because of this his body is taken over by an alien. While himself his voice is kind and open to others, but possessed he takes on a tone of arrogance to anyone who isn't his partner in crime. His name is pronounced Toe-Moe-Ey

(condescending) Attack all you'd like. But just a fair warning, you would only be hurting the boy. Once he’s out of commission I will just jump to the next host.
Of course! They saved my life, and I will always be grateful to them for that. They're my heroes, and I’d do anything to meet them.
