HEY! PLEASE READ THOROUGHLY!!! This project post is the EXTENSION of the original Gardenview Dubs project post, to post the remaining open roles in hopes of getting new dubs! If you want to check out that post, check out my profile.
Welcome to Gardenview Dubs! My name is Night, the creator and director of the project you've stumbled across— and I'd love for YOU to join us! This project is a fandub of the Dandy’s World comics, where we’ll be voicing panels, and creating comic dubs for YouTube off of whatever we find to give it new life- and allow the original creator more attention through our work! Whether you're a longtime fan or just discovering Dandy’s World (Knowledge of the game is preferred, but not required), This should be a fun opportunity for you!
All artwork in this post is made by Qwelver or the Blushcrunch team themselves.
Lines are from official dialouge, or modified slightly. This is because instead of being a scripted project, we're a fandub, so we don't have lines personal to our project. Furthermore, it allows me to get a feel for how you do playing the canon characters as-is.
What to Expect:
Comic dub-style videos (panels + voice acting + light editing)
A collaborative, supportive team on Discord A mix of comedy, angst, romantic, silly, and many other genres of comics we come across!
A respectful community- if you have any discomfort towards a certain ship or dub (Or have boundaries against things such as cursing), we can and will make accomodations to the best of our ability for you.
Rules & Requirements:
You must be 13 years or older to audition.
Discord is required — it’s our main communication hub. Include your Discord username with your submission. If cast, this is how you’ll receive your invite to the project server.
You may audition for multiple roles and can be cast in more than one — show us your range!
You must use a clear microphone with minimal background noise — no (low quality) phone mics or heavily distorted recordings, please.
Please be respectful, responsive, and willing to collaborate.

You will assist in making the videos we upload on our channel for people to see! You'll be supplied with the necessary script, voice lines, and comic to piece together! Once you're on the team, you're welcome to take inspiration from the videos I have posted!

Derived from the wiki: Brusha is a proud, introverted, and emotionally complex Toon. She values skill and recognition highly, and her interactions reveal layers of frustration, hurt, and occasionally defensiveness. She is socially cautious. Although irritable or defensive, she has depth: her affection for art, her desire for recognition, and her subtle reactions to others' emotions demonstrate a sensitive Toon beneath the surface. After the show, Brusha changed significantly; she became very irritable.
Her voice should be slightly raspy and teenager esque. Wendy (Gravity Falls) is a GREAT example.

Derived from the wiki: Dyle is the Toon who controls the Gardenview Train Center. He treats everything very seriously and views everything in a professional light, including fellow Toons, whom he perceives as fellow colleagues rather than friends, unlike most of the other Toons. Being raised to supervise the train, Dyle, unlike the other Toons, never participated in the show. This seemed to make him very lonely, which led him to ask Arthur and Delilah if he could be in the show, but this never happened. Dyle might have been isolated from the other Toons, as evidenced by the fact that his room was on a completely isolated floor. Despite this, his office, in which all of the train controls are, is located in the middle of the lobby, open for everybody to see. Dyle was the only Toon who saw the outside world, and the only one who had access to the train that left Gardenview.
So long as his voice is mature and masculine, do whatever you'd like. Any accent.

I wonder if such a unlikely group would be friends if it weren't for the fact they work together. -And I'll tell you one thing for certain!
That pet rock Dandicus has is…Fascinating! He recognizes all sorts of commands. Though he doesn't just do them for anyone.
I hope you're aware any earnings I receive from purchases go right back to Dandicus....I work alongside him, we're...associates, in a way.
Austin seems to be a mildly defensive, but mostly timid and shy character. He shows a disdain for photos, similar to Astro, and also seems to mirror him in other traits.
This is a HANDLER! Handler roles, like Holiday toons, will be needed less commonly (As they have less comics) and may be double casted if demand is low for hiring. Don't be afraid to apply for multiple roles!
His voice should be shy, but maturely masculine.

Devan appears friendly in his Toon Handler portrait, similarly to Dandy's personality on the outside. Though, most fan interpretations suggest that he has a darker, more manipulative side, and may have taken part in luring Dandy into his participation in the Ichor Operation.

His voice would be cocky yet formal masc, similar to ENA (Salesperson) (ENA: Dream BBQ).
