Gamblin Circus - Murder Mystery Party
Project Overview
Hello and welcome! My name is Holly, and I'm creating a quick project for the murder mystery party that I'm hosting. I need voice actors to help me out as I create introduction videos for the players and audio hints that they'll find on USB sticks. The project is very short and will only require you to say a few lines. Thank you for your consideration!
In regards to the story, the Gamblin Circus brings in victims that are tied down by their own personal guilt. The attendees are given different roles, and some are more dangerous than others. Attendees must watch their own backs because of the killers, and gamble to gather enough chips by the deadline. If they are under the chip limit when times up, they must also lose their lives. If the attendees can solve the murder and save Joker, the hostess, everyone can get out alive.

Mr. Gamblin is the leader and owner of the Gamblin Circus. His daughter, Joker Gamblin, is the hostess. He has a horrible gambling addiction that led him to great debt. Once he found himself in possession of his long-lost daughter again, he trained her to be an entertainer and created the circus. Not only could he pay off his debt with how popular it became, but he could also continue to fuel his addiction. Jack is the co-host that he is currently training alongside Joker, which makes Jack a little less stable. Mr. Gamblin will mostly be speaking to them. Feel free to get creative on how you imagine his voice to be, I'm open!
Jack - It's your job to make sure the attendees don't find the key for the lock around Joker's neck.
This is all about money! Don't forget that. You're just a pawn in this stupid game. Follow my rules, and I won't abandon you as your parents did.

Jester is a smaller role and won't have as many lines. He'll be in a single clue USB. There are two parts to the Gamblin Circus, the pre-show and the main show. He is the only actor in the pre-show that knows of the deadly happenings in the main show. He's been friends with Joker since they were kids, and Mr. Gamblin uses Jester and the other actors as blackmail to keep Joker as the hostess. If she doesn't comply, her friends will be killed or worse. Though if she does comply, they will be employed and well-fed. I'm open for interpretation on how Jester sounds, I don't have anything exact in my mind!
Hey, Joker? Are you going to be okay? You don't look so good...
I promise I'll take care of them all. It's my duty as the host of the pre-show. You focus on keeping yourself safe.
You can trust me. I won't tell the others about the main show. Just don't let your old man see us talking, okay?
Swing and Bounce are two trapeze children that perform in the pre-show. They have a very small part, but Joker takes care of them like a mother. The two of them are twins so their voices don't have to be too different, though they have slightly different personalities. Both are bubbly and happy, but Bounce is more Naive than Swing. Neither of them truly know what's going on with the main show, or that they're being used as blackmail.
(Both) Joker! Joker! Look at the new trick I learned!
(Bounce) Where do you go after the show every day? I wanna see! I wanna help!
(Swing) No... Please don't go away. Every time you leave - you come back sad. I don't want to see you sad.
