Gacharonpa : The Rise of Hope and Despair
Project Overview
This is taking place during the 39th killing game, during a school trip to Yamiichi Town. They are the 94th class of Hope’s Peak.
Additional note : The character designs have since changed, so some may look slightly or maybe even drastically different now! Hope that is okay!

Roland is the Ultimate Engineer, he is the protagonist of this killing game! He is confident but is easily flustered and quick to make assumptions.
(Confused) “What are we supposed to do?”
(Confident) “NO THATS WRONG!!!”
(Confident) “That means the killer must be you!”
Amy is the ultimate violinist. She is a sarcastic and blunt character with no care for how people feel. She is generally the ‘I am not taking any of your bs’ kind of person, like Togami but with less cocky grins as she hardly smiles.
(Annoyed) “Do you think we are stupid or something?”
(Frustrated) “Oh get a grip!”
(Cocky) “Called it.”
Georgia is the Ultimate Basketball Pro, she is a lot like Akane with her habits of challenging people, and is usually a very ecstatic person.
(Excited) “Oh hell yeah!”
(Confident) “Game on!”
(Confused) “Wait, what? There is no way she’s the killer, she’s too much of a softie!”
Alex is the Ultimate Marine Biologist, he is a calm character who is usually the mediator in fights, he always tries to calm people down if they are panicking. He also loves to talk about sea creatures whenever the topic comes up.
(Curious) “Huh, that does seem odd.”
(Unsure) “Hey, don’t worry, there’s no way any of us are going to listen to a stupid stuffed bear... right?”
Emily is the Ultimate Archeologist, she is an easily excited character, who is very capable and can easily take care of herself and others, she will end up almost like a mother to Molly later on.
(Amazed) “Oh wow, it’s an almost exact replica of an ancient Egyptian tomb!”
(Confident) “The killer can’t hide from me! I’m too smart!”
William is the Ultimate Hacker, he is the only character with a confirmed sexuality, he is gay and will probably end up dating one of the guys (we shall see how long that lasts) but who that will be I don’t know yet. He is also accused fairly often due to his shady past.
(Alarmed) “Wait, you’re seriously going to take his word for it?!”
(Scared and panicked) “It’s not me, I’m telling you!”
Autumn is the Ultimate Archer, she mostly acts like Mondo, but gets embarrassed when she is called out for a mistake in a similar fashion to Miu.
(Cocky) “Oh yeah?! So how did you know exactly where the body was?”
(Embarrassed) “I see, I made a mistake, Apologies.”
Josh is the Ultimate Game Developer, he usually is easily distracted like Chiaki, but can also act like Kaito on occasion, with his excited nature.
(Happy) “Hey! It’s just like in Kingdom Hearts!”
(Confident) “Oh oh oh, I got it! He must have bugged out before he reached the exit!”
I put the two together because it’s better if they have similar voices, if you can, please try and make them sound slightly different, but if you only want to audition for one, please put that in your audition. They are the Ultimate Twins and have a habit of talking in sync, especially during class trials, when they are nervous.
(Mocking) “Damn, she got you good!”
(Annoyed then angry) “We do not speak exactly the same! HEY stop copying me!”
Harper is the Ultimate Hairdresser, she gets very annoyed when someone’s hair is messed up or unruly, but is usually a bubbly and excitable person.
(Annoyed) “Ugh, my hair dye is starting to fade, give me a few hours, imma go reapply it!”
Carrie is the Ultimate Graffiti Artist, she is very similar to Ibuki, but doesn’t refer to herself in the third person like she does, but they share many traits.
(Excited) “Woohoo!”
(Confident) “Go get em girl!”
(Shocked) “Wait, WHAT?!”
Caled is the Ultimate DJ, he is a very loud and prominent character, and is constantly butting heads with Emily as they are very different. Edit : He is now the Ultimate Lazer Tag Player, his design has been updated accordingly, but I haven't updated the CCC yet!
(Loudly) “Sick beat dude!”
(Bored) “Oh come on, no one cares about some lamo history lecture!”
Danielle is the Ultimate Psychologist, she is a calm and collected character who is generally the one to get her hands dirty while getting an autopsy report.
(Picture Junko’s teacher voice) “He’s showing signs of trauma, we may want to look into that at a later date.”
(Frustrated) “I analysed the body, but there were no visible wounds!”
Matilda is the Ultimate Aristocrat, and she talk like it, with a high class posh voice, she is also the mastermind of the killing game.
This is the only role that really has a specific voice type needed!
(Concerned) “Oh dear, how unfortunate of an endeavour.”
(High class smug voice) “You see darling, it’s all about the despair, the rest is all just bonus amusement.”
Molly is the Ultimate Puppeteer, and is essentially, Himiko, Chihiro and any other cinnamon rolls bunched together to create a pastel nervous wreck of an elite student.
(Nervous) “I-I-I’m Molly.”
(Crying) “How could you do that to her!?”
Kazuki Sensei is the 94th Class’s home room teacher.
Whatever you think would fit a teacher on a school trip, or maybe introduce yourself!
