Gacha Club Horror Mini Movie: Charles Bonnet Syndrome
Project Overview
INTRODUCTION
Hello, everyone! This is a Gacha Club Voice Acted Mini Movie based on a less-known Creepypasta called "Charles Bonnet Syndrome". It follows a guy in his early twenties called Andrew who learns he has Type One Diabetes and with it he is diagnosed with Charles Bonnet Syndrome (Visual Release Hallucinations). We have eight roles open as of now.
Auditioning will be simple. Under the character's name and image there should be 1-3 lines for you to say out with expression. The talented actors that are cast will be required to send in clips of them saying lines on a provided script, similar to auditioning.
All characters in this production are NOT mine. They belong to their rightful owner. So does most of the dialogue. I have changed a couple things, shortened lines, added some but overall I only own the video production. To find and read the original story, click here.
DEADLINES AND AUDITIONS
The deadline for this production is not yet set. Knowing from a current second project called Dystopian we know that sometimes it takes a while to get auditions. We are going to be posting updates for deadlines and other news concerning the mini movie. We have our script ready for the whole movie. In total there are 7 pages on size 11 on Google Docs. Expect there to be a couple of silly lines in the future for possibly small funny clips or little skits with these characters.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Our talented voice actors should expect varying amounts of lines.
- Andrew (Main Character) Should expect 5 minimum - 9 maximum lines per page
- Lois (Supporting Character) Should expect 0 minimum - 8 maximum lines per page
- Jason (Supporting Character) Should expect 0 minimum - 9 maximum lines per page
- Helen (Main Antagonist) Should expect 0 minimum - 1 maximum lines per page
- Female Stranger (Extra Character) Should expect 0 minimum - 5 maximum lines per page
- Dr. Harper (Extra Character) Should expect 0 minimum - 6 maximum lines per page
- Dave (Extra Character) Should expect 0 minimum - 4 maximum lines per page
- Holly (Extra Character) Should expect 0 minimum - 4 maximum lines per page
WHAT WE ASK OF YOU
- Send in lines on time
- Ask for deadline extension at least 1 day before if needed
- Do not cause trouble for the team
- Have a discord tag/instagram/email account either included in your audition description or when we private message you
- Tell us your timezone once we private message you on discord/instagram/email
- Be at least 9+ in age
- Use expression in both audition and end product
- Work with your team and establish a bond!

Andrew is quite extroverted. After his diagnosis he was very introverted. In the 1st and 3rd lines it's more of a narrating voice and in the 2nd it's very "in the moment" you could say.

Lois is strict and uptight. (Her name is pronounced out aloud here in case of confusion.) She is a no-nonsense lady who has an an authoritative voice. I don't mind what age you are, as long as you sound like this descriptions

Jason is Andrew's friend. He is very loyal and comforts Andrew. His voice is medium-low to medium.

Helen is the main antagonist of the story, though she only has one chilling line at the end of the script. She's been appearing to Andrew throughout the story. Her voice should be soft and a bit ominous.

Amy is a kind passerby who helps Andrew get to Dr. Harper's office. Her voice should be sweet and soft (Medium high to super high)

Holly is Andrew's Ex Girlfriend. Andrew breaks up with her after he gets his diagnosis due to personal issues. Holly is quite understanding and accepts the fact that Andrew can't deal with his condition. She has a medium/high voice and it goes a bit shrill when she's angry

Dr Harper is the doctor who diagnoses Andrew with Charles Bonnet Syndrome. He is quite smart and speaks in a matter-of-factly tone.

Matilda is Andrew's Uber Driver to the hospital. She doesn't have too much of a personality, have fun with it!
