Gacha Club Animated Halloween Special
Project Overview
Whether this will come out this Halloween or next, I need to start gathering Va’s now because it always takes forever as I’m not popular enough to get a good rating yet. So here is one of my planned projects, with no defined date or deadline. Please consider auditioning all the same!
This story has no title yet, as I tend to do those towards the end of the writing stages and I’m currently still in the beginning. Either way, it’s a story about two girls (also currently unnamed, I’m a bit picky) who are in their early adult years have been trying for years to make it big as music producers. Just as they near their first big break, everything they’ve worked forward to for years, something mysterious and dangerous interrupts their lives. This things, dubbed as “the shadow monsters” by both girls and their friend (who also has no name) have seemingly no weakness and keep coming from all directions. In the midst of trying to blindly battle them off, all three main characters stumble across the world the monsters originate from. Working with the strange otherworldly locals, they work to find the key to defeating the monsters— while dealing with plenty of other problems along the way.
This story will hopefully come out as a sort of horror-comedy combo. It probably won’t be too scary, just dramatic, but I suppose I can’t say that for sure yet. There will be more characters added once I am confident in their, well, characters.

This girl is pretty wild. She loves being the center of attention at large social gatherings, and she loves to take risks and live life on the edge. She is the singer of the production duo, and she is usually the one to get screen time. She enjoys the heroic fantasy and will not hesitate to be the one to step up at the first sign of trouble... or so she likes to think. It’s extraordinarily hard for her to spend a weekend alone at home.
There could be some singing in this role, but if there is it could range from actually sounding good to Saturday-night-screamo.
(Angry, determined) I’m not just going to sit around and cower! We are going to find some brooms, and we’re gonna FIGHT.
(Contemplative) Hmm. I’m not sure if I like the lighting for this shot. Maybe we should redo it.
You are out with your friends at a cafe. The waitress has just asked you if you want whipped cream in your drink.
(Amused) What am I, an amateur? Pile on that whipped cream like you life DEPENDS ON IT.
This character is more laid back than her partner, Singer(to be named). She shares a similar self image, not caring what others thing of her, but she is definitely calmer and more observant. She plans her actions carefully before jumping into action, but still takes on a somewhat “carefree” attitude in life. She’s just less impulsive about it. She acts as a mostly behind the scenes girl for her career with Singer. She handles more technical issues such as filming and editing, but also plays guitar. She likes being around Singer more than she likes doing what Singer does. She leaves a very distinct impression on newcomers.
(Argumentative, but not angry) I don’t think being reckless is going to help here. We’ve got to forgive out something to give us a step up before we go rushing in!
(Regular tone- will usually be a somewhat cool tone) I’ve managed to dig up the deleted files, but the edits we’ve made are gone. We’ll have to redo them.
You’re talking to your best friend here, so make it sound like some friendly competition.
(Smirking) You sure do talk big for a girl who nearly dropped out of high school for a fruitless endeavor.
This is the friend who’s got a job of his own, but is still good friends with the girls. He likes living a simple, easy life and doesn’t care to try out being an entrapanuer like his friends. He works at a local cafe, the favorite of the trio. He’s a flighter at the sight of danger, and doesn’t care to be the “main character” in anything. He’s quite the opposite of Singer, who loves the spotlight.
(Nervous) Well, I vote that the house is haunted and we should just leave! All in favor? *raises hand*
(Happy) What’s up dorks? Working on another song?
Your two best friends are at your cafe, making a scene while ordering obnoxious things on the menu. You boss has asked you to quiet them down.
(Amused) Call me crazy, but I think there’s a reason my boss doesn’t want me to be your server.
