Sailor Moon: Future Reunion mangadub
Project Overview
Future Reunion is a fan-created doujinshi based on the Sailor Moon manga series. It follows Chibi Usa as a teenager in the 30th century and her struggles as Neo Sailor Moon against a new enemy that arises in the otherwise peaceful Crystal Tokyo, as well as the mystery surrounding a new student named Shou Hinowa, who bears a remarkable resemblance to someone from Chibi Usa's past...
To Audition:
- Your microphone should be clear and reasonably noise-free, without clicks or puffs.
- Save files in 44100hz Mono MP3, 192kbps (or at least 128kbps)
Audition Notes:
- You are allowed to try out for as many characters as you are interested in.
- Assume all characters are preferred to have general American accents.
- We reserve the right to scout any roles that we do not find appropriate voices for. (This isn't the only place we're casting at)
- There is a fair likelihood that, if you don't get a main role, there are extra unnamed roles needed that you may be cast as instead. Please be open to this if you audition.
- As of this post, there are four complete acts of the doujinshi released to the public, with the fifth partially released. The line count only takes into account lines for the first four, though the production intends to work on all the chapters as they're released. So please keep this in mind and be available for more VAing over the long term.
- I am working closely with the original artist for this production, and as such she will also have a say in casting. Because of this and the volume of characters up for audition, I won't be able to offer in-depth personal critiques.
- We are not necessarily looking for soundalikes of either of the official dubs. Please use the vocal pitch and description as your main guides for auditioning, though you may also use the original Japanese voices as references if you are familiar with the source material.
