Friendly Fire (Recast) - 1 Male
Project Overview
After some recent confusion with the last casting call, I have decided to re-open the casting call for Vince (1/2 main characters) in Friendly Fire.
We are developing a 1v1 FPS semi-competitive shooter, for PC, we plan to release it for free on Steam. I am the project manager and lead programmer on the project,. At this point, we are finalizing changes to the gameplay and menus and are now starting to pump out assets (models, audio, art, etc) and a few other extra game mechanics (like elevators that play dubstep music, cause why not).

sidenotes
We are not too concerned about your accuracy in writing (im... Not the best script writer o.o), we are more focused on the voice itself, the tone, pacing, and personality, over what you say/how you pronounce it atm.
After the casting is complete, if you are selected for the role, youll be given 1 week to respond through PM and/or Discord, at which point we can get things rolling. Please keep in mind, you are joining a team as an active team member to the development of the project. While your not expected to be active daily, you will be a part of the development server, and are expected to be responsive weekly (weekly check-in every Friday through Sunday), you will have documents with lines to record and an agreed method for submitting work in the most efficient way for both of us. It is a little more involved than "heres some lines see you in 2 weeks".
When you are logged in, you can comment, add submissions, create projects, upvote, search open roles, and way more. Login here.

Due to a few issues we are having with the project and my narrowed time to fix them recently, I will have to extend the deadline of the audition, to give me more time to fix things before we bring on the last few voice actors, otherwise youll kinda just be sitting around for a while waiting for me to give you stuff to do o.o Sorry for the inconvenience it might cause anyone, but I can still continue to provide feedback on your audition(s) if you ask
Vince is a guy who loves a competitive environment. He often pokes fun at his best friend Sam, who he's known since childhood, and the only thing he takes serious is his job. He's like the cool friend who works at some movie set, just bursting with overconfidence in his own skills.
Lore-wise, he is the leader in his squad, and trained as a infantryman, where Sam is sometimes assigned as the squads dedicated medic. In Basic Training, he often out performs most of the others and always aims for self improvement. When it comes to war, the only person he is in competition with, is the person he was yesterday. On assignments, he always makes sure to bring more ammo then he needs, and directs the team to ensure minimal losses. He is extremely accurate and skilled in military strategy and tactics, and this skill is what earned him his rank, which he can clearly demonstrate on the battlefield, where it matters most. When he is not training, he likes to have friendly competitions against Sam, in this virtual world they call "Friendly Fire"
Voice Specs: mid - low (not bass-low, references: https://drive.google.com/open?id=19N0HF96OeQ6uW69bEmaP8E64uNXSD0jm)
- Cocky/Overconfident personality.
- Likes to make puns and situational humor.
- Always either happy, sarcastic or angry.
- Enjoys insulting Sams skills and highlighting his.
- Super competitive, and sees a loss as "warm up, practice round, didnt count"
- Basically the kind of player that would 360 no scope skill shot kill you, then spray and tbag your dead character afterward, and still be top frag, then say "gg wp" but really mean "gg ez"
You think your little pistols are gonna win against my guns!? Heh...! I'm not conVINCED...! (short pause) You dont get it... [Before a round starts]
Hah! At this point, id be surprised if you could even hit a still target! GG, thanks for playiiing! [after winning a match]
Alright alright, Im not saying your “baaaad”, you just have a very long way to go before you compare to even half of my level! Hahah…
