Friend Like Me Parody (Aladdin, Robin Williams, D&D)
Project Overview
Hello there! Through the urgings of some of my D&D players and friends, I've decided it's time to share my D&D musical parody songs to the world for their enjoyment! The following project requires an animator and a wickedly energized vocalist that can make this song pop! Storyboarding is in the works, MC turnaround is finished.
The song for this project is Friend Like Me, the Robin Williams version, from Disney's Aladdin.
- Songs would be posted to youtube, perhaps tiktok/youtube shorts depending on how well they are accepted.
- Best way to reach out to me is through Discord @ Jarpo#3871.
- We will use Discord primarily to communicate and I may inquire further about your talents if I like what you can do!
- Payment is negotiable.

Singer must be able to act out the song with voice and accent variety much like Robin Williams does in the original. It doesn't need to be a one to one reenactment (although I'm not opposed to that either); you're free to reinterpret lines as you see fit! Must be energized!
Adventurer, I don't think you quite realize what you got here!
So, why don't you just ruminate,
Whilste I illuminate the possibilities!
Well Mordenkainen had their faithful hound
Volothamp had a thousand tales
Hero you in luck 'cause pound for pound
I've got a brand of magic never fails
................................
.................... ...........
....And I'll sayMister Adventurer
What spell are you casting?
Let me send your foes
Right underground
You ain't never had a friend like me
Ha ha ha
Life is a battleground
And I'm your best buddy
C'mon whisper what it is you want
You ain't never had a friend like me
We've got a great storyboard artist/character designer already pumping out some awesome things. Searching for one or two animators who can take that type of cartoony character and make them come alive! Take a look at the links and share your portfolio if you think you've got what it takes.
Say something you think would fit
