Fragmentalia is a surreal adventure set inside the mind of someone who’s forgotten everything. You’ll journey through dreamlike, emotional, and strange worlds, collecting scattered fragments of your memory. Each fragment brings you one step closer to remembering who you are—and why everything fell apart in the first place. Use tools like a skateboard to travel faster, a cellphone to return to safety, and a scrapbook to hold the pieces of yourself you're trying to put back together.

Tracey is the sharp-tongued, overworked keeper of the Memory Bank, the game’s central hub. She’s all snark, schedules, and suppressed sentiment. Tasked with cataloguing and protecting the player's recovered fragments, Tracey hides a deep reverence for memories beneath a thick layer of sarcasm and eye-rolls. She’s always one coffee short of a breakdown, but she never lets anything slip through the cracks—not even the pieces of you that you forgot. Despite her cold front, her loyalty is unmatched, especially when it comes to her sister, Macey, though she’d never admit how much she misses her. Tracey believes in order, stability, and pushing forward—even if it means pretending she doesn’t care.

Macey is Tracey’s sister—her polar opposite in every way. Where Tracey is loud, brash, and constantly overwhelmed, Macey is calm, quiet, and endlessly patient. Deep in the forgotten corners of the mind, she paints lost memories before they sink into the inkwell and disappear forever. Gentle and dreamlike, Macey has taken it upon herself to preserve what the player can no longer remember. Through her art, she becomes the last line of defense against complete forgetting—a soft voice in the noise, holding on when no one else will.
