Fracture: Echoes of the Mind Video Game - Main Character Role
Project Overview
We are casting for ‘Fracture: Echoes of the Mind’, a narrative-driven psychological horror game where players inhabit multiple characters with neurodiversity or mental illness, each confronting fears that manifest as reality-warping enemies and environments.
Right now, we are casting for one of our lead characters, Malik, for an investors’ pitch prototype with the idea to expand into a demo before launching into the production of the full game.
Fracture: Echoes of the Mind is produced by Chaotic Paws Studios in collaboration with DSTRCT Creatives.

Malik is a man drowning in still water. Once a revered investigative journalist, he has spent decades telling the stories of others while hiding the weight of his own. Following an incident that left him guilt-ridden, Malik became a freelance journalist, which gave him more freedom in what stories he chose to follow, but also made it easier to avoid writing at all. He is calm, composed, and perceptive, but beneath the surface lies exhaustion and a relentless voice whispering that he’s not enough. Malik doesn’t seek the spotlight; he only wants peace. But peace requires confronting what he’s buried.
Please note: Fracture: Echoes of the Mind explores mental health and neurodivergence with empathy, nuance, and narrative depth. During the full production, we aim to consult with mental health and neurodiversity specialists and those with lived experiences to ensure authentic and sensitive portrayals.

Sorry. I– I mean, in my defense, you just came out of a slicing prismatic portal like some kind of kaleidoscopic hellcat.
Woah! (Displeased by the wet) Aw, man… really?!
In all my years, I’d never met someone so hooked on storytelling as I was. Then along came Tig. Suckers, the pair of us. (A sad beat) Yeah. The pair of us…
