The Fray: Proof of Concept Project
Project Overview
Hi there! I'm doing a mini short based off of a small snippet from my story The Fray :D
I HIGHLY recommend reading this quick presentation before proceeding forward below:
So what is the story about?
The world we live in is billions of years into the future, after the extinction of mankind. There are now mechanical beings that have gained sentience that now roam the world. There is only three more billion years until the sun dies, the sun has turned into a nebula. The beings of this world are hastily figuring out how to stop the Sun’s death before the inevitable disintegration of the planet. That’s where we follow our main character, Mr. W. In his words, he is the “heart and soul”, of New Hope City. For the past decade, he’s been finding ways to cease the extinction of the sun. However, instead of it being for righteous reasons, he figures this would be the perfect chance to build a legacy for himself. He also has changes for the city if they manage to complete this task. His changes: to completely gentrify the city and push out any citizens that are below the middle class.

-Applicants must be 18+
-Must have clear and good audio quality
-Record 2-3 takes per line when reading the audition lines. Please keep audition on a single file with .mp3 or .wav format. Take pauses between each line.
-If you decide to audition for than one character, please send each character as their separate audition take
-Needs to be available to do possible retakes

Conniving, two-face, and a backstabber. Mr. W is every negative connotation in the books. He is one of the running forces behind New Hope City
For Walker's voice I imagine his dialect to be very quick-talking and with a brash speaking style! He's a salesman, he will try to make deals sound interesting with a cars-salesman like voice.

"So, lad, what made you want to come here? Besides the weather of course. Wanna make it big here?"
Mr. W's right hand, also a smooth talker and a massive flirt. It might appear now that she and Mr. W are on good terms, but it will soon come to light on where her true intentions lie.
Ms.G's dialect is very sultry, deep, and raspy! She can have a salesman-like voice like Mr.W, but it's more flirtatious than anything. Below is a video to her voice claim:

Now, now, don't be so coy with me. I think you know exactly why I came here.
Contie is a newly promoted bot who has one set goal in mind... to try to find a more "environmentalist" approach at managing the company. Because of this rather optimist view, their peers like to mock them. Contie holds firm beliefs that the company should put a stop at harming the environment through land pollution and unnecessary construction.They soon realize that change isn't easy when it comes to working for Cogs Inc.
Contie's dialect is very gentle and naive. However, that isn't to say that there won't be times to where they won't make their voice more headstrong to try and not dimmish their confidence in their abilities.
