Flowers In The Attic - Sims 2 VO Series
Project Overview
Flowers in the Attic is a novel by V.C. Andrews. It is about a family: Corrine, Cathy, Christopher, Carrie, and Cory. Corrine, their mother, has just suffered a terrible loss as her husband, father of her four children, has passed away. The father was the back bone of the family and he is the way they had money. Once he passed away, they became penniless and unable to afford anything. Corrine decides to write to her mother who she hasn't spoken to in years. Once her mother accepts for her to come and live with them, they travel by train and pack light. Upon arrival, the children discover that their Grandfather, Corrine's father, does not know they exist. They are to be locked in a bedroom with only an attic and a bathroom. The children are told by Corrine that it will only be a couple of days until they are set free. However, days turn into years and the children grow older while being trapped in the attic. Will they gain their road to freedom? Audition or watch this series to find out.

Her vocal range should be between the ages of 18 and over. If you are under 18 but can sound older, then you can audition. She doesnt have to sound too elderly. Just older.
(Grudgingly) Here. Some real flowers for your fake garden.
(Mad. Extremely mad.) I hate that name! It was your fathers. Out of the kindness of my heart, I pleaded his case when his mother died and he didn't have a home. He took advantage and deceived us!
(Angry and aggressive) Boy, move away from that window this instant!
(Sad) Cathy did you hear me say I don't like this place?
Line 2: (Whiney) I want to go outside and play!
Her vocal range should be between the ages of 18 and over. If you are under 18 but can sound older, then you can audition.
(Comforting and sweet) Oh, yes, it snows here. You bet it snows. We are in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, and it gets very cold here, just as cold as it did in Gladstone. But the summers will be warmer during the day. The nights are always cool enough for at least one blanket.
(Trying to be caring, but still snobby and conceited. Sound of wealth. Like youre rich.) Darlings! Here I am! Aren't you glad to see me? Oh, you just don't know how very glad I am to see all of you. I've missed you so much, and thought about you, and dreamed of you. I've bought you so many wonderful presents! I wanted to make up for being away for so long.
(Angry) Oh but you are heartless and ungrateful children, that you should do this to me, your own mother, the only person in this world who loves you! You attack me viciously, unjustly! Making me feel so guilty and so ashamed, when all along I have done the best I could! And yet you won't believe!
His vocal range should be between the ages of 15 18. If you are over 18 but can sound like a teenage boy, then you can audition as well. His voice should be medium deep. Or it may be high. Just audition and Ill decide.
(Annoyed) Cathy, you're twelve, and it's time you grew up. Nobody screams to see a few book-worms. Bugs are a part of life. We humans are the masters, the supreme rulers over all. This isn't such a bad room at all. Lots of space, full of big windows, plenty of books, and even a few toys for the twins.
(Frustrated and fed up.) I love you. I MAKE myself keep on loving you. Despite what you do. I've got to love you. We all have to love you and believe in you and think you are looking out for our best interests. But look at us, Momma, and really see us. Cathy feels, and I feel, that you close your eyes to what you are doing to us.
(Amazed and in awe.) I know I shouldn't be, but you look so beautiful. It's like I never saw you before. How did you grow so lovely, when I was here all the time?
*NOTE* He's a sporadic character. He comes every so often. So it's not a regular role. Good if you're too busy to constantly do a project.
His voice should be someone over the age of 18. Deep possibly. Adultish and fatherly. If you're under 18 but can do this voice, feel free.
Cathy, you will always be my favorite little girl. But don't tell the others that.
I brought you something. Isn't it beautiful? A music box. I thought of you the second that I saw it. I knew it had to be yours.
(Sad) Well, I guess I'd better get going. I love you all, and Corrine, I love you.
Her vocal range should be between the ages of 12 17. If you are over 18 but sound younger, then you can audition as well.
(narrating) Love I put so much faith in it. Truth I kept believing it falls always from the lips of the one you love and trust the most. Faith it's all bound up to love and trust. Where does one end and the other start, and how do you tell when love is the blindest of all?
(Angry and Aggressive) Damn you to hell, Mama, if you don't take Cory to a hospital right now! You think you can go on doing whatever you want with us and nobody will ever find out? If Cory dies, Mama, you'll pay for it! One way or another, I will find a way. I promise you that.
(Embarrassed, teasing, love struck)*laugh* Don't be silly, you know you don't really love me in that way. And you don't have to feel guilty or ashamed. It was my fault, too. And we can pretend it never happened, and make sure it never happens again.
