Five Nights at Knifes [The Remake]

Project Overview

Want to voice in some funny, but goofy FNaF fan game about moving objects instead of moving animatronics? This project is here for it!

This project is only to be made for fun. While this will be a fan game for the original FNaF games made by Scott Cawthon, it will be a game that I will also work on, being a complete remake and remaster to the original I have created.
Instead of the original only having one moving object that takes second coding, it will instead have four (Or five counting secrets) moving objects with an AI Movement Opportunity based coding.

This game will be expected to be released on a near Halloween date. It may be released earlier, since I am working hard on this game.

This game will be released on Scratch, and later on GameJolt, and maybe on Newgrounds.

Rather than being called animatronics (Besides Mr. Roy), they will be called magical equipments, which usually don't move during the day, but only moves during the night shift.

(Submissions can have a toy-like voice effect. It is optional, but if not done, I'll be adding the toy-like voice effects myself. Phone callers will be normal people)

(Sound effects from other games will be used until I make up sound effects I create, or other sound effects from freesounds)

(This project is also being created, since INFESTED is put on hold, as I will be waiting for a new laptop so that game can be switched to Unity)

Synopsis

Applying for a night guard at The Knife's Testing Practice Workshop, you as the player will be controlling the actions Jakob Hass takes (Mostly called Jake), a man who doesn't speak, but is desperate for money nonetheless.

What Jakob will be experiencing, are unsuspecting objects that will want him dead no matter what, and as time progresses, the building will eventually become even worse, with an unexpected twist waiting at the end.

Gameplay:

  • If you know the entire FNaF franchise, then you will easily get the hang of this game. If not.. then.. who are you?

  • Use the lights and doors to check and protect yourself against the stabby objects that are brought to life.

  • Maintain your power with the strategies you choose to do, and by doing so, you can simply make it past your nights like a breeze.

  • Use the cameras to check for the moving objects that roam around the building, most noticeably: the ones that is thrown through the hallways faster than any other equipment in there.

  • If you run out of power, may the luck gods be on your side.

  • Secrets are waiting to be revealed. Maybe it can be told around the globe, and most importantly, your friends. Good luck surviving!

[RULES]

  • You must be over the age of 13 to apply.

  • You may have a discord account. If you don't use Discord, you can stay in CastingClubCall, or you can have a twitter account.

  • This game will be posted on Scratch, and possibly NewGrounds. If you have either one of these accounts or both, you can also send your username. This is optional, as you don't have to.

  • Be respectful. Voice acting threat lines that aren't related to this game whatsoever will make me immediately decline you and future projects I make.

  • You must be decent at voice acting. You can be best or good, but not under decent.

  • You must have a decent microphone. The background noise must be almost quiet. Just a tip: If you hear background noise, try again.

  • This isn't a paid project, just a project I am making for fun.

    The roles have been finished. There will be a Discord link to my server so we can get in contact there. To the ones who doesn't have Discord, they can remind me in Group DM's, so I can use other social media rather than Discord.

  • Notice

    Once the project is done, a few people who haven't been given any of the roles will be selected as an Extra (That will be added). There will only be a handful of selected people, as not everyone will get the the role. Again, the deadline is on July 14th, so make sure to get the submissions in if you can!

  • Deadline Update

    The deadline will be until July 14th, 8 PM (If this works). I have thought of people taking the roles, and making suggestions on if I were to add more roles in the future, possibly a second project being made.

    Again, people will still have the chance to do submissions. Once the project ends, the roles will be fully in place.

    The Discord server will be created shortly, and will be posted on the project in the description soon. There you can take a look at the announcements/updates I do.

  • Problem Still Going

    Scratch either doesn't care about its people, or is taking a very long time to fix the bug. There may be a chance that I can only take a look at submissions only once and will select who is best. This will be due by July 28th, because of this website's restrictions. You guys still have the time. You can join if you want to, but now it's the time if you need to. Good luck to everyone joining the project. Sorry for the inconvenience.

  • Timeline Extends Based on Outgoing Bug

    There is a bug on Scratch's website, where uploading new sounds, you are unable to save your projects, which you are forced to download, save a file, and wait for the problem to go away.
    Sadly this project will be extended every day depending on how long this bug still occurs. While this happens, people still have a chance to send in submissions, so if you want to participate, now's the chance to do so.

    (Extended times will stop once the problem is solved)

Blake will be the caller, giving players what to do against the terrifying deadly equipment's. He can also talk about the lore around the building, what may happen to it, and what his thoughts are about that. On Night 3, his phone will be disabled and will be replaced by a different caller, until the fourth night.


On Night 6, Blake will be done with his job, but won't be heard again if the player does play the Seventh (Custom) night. Blake is planned to be announced missing or dead in the next game of the trilogy.


He has a young tone of voice. A low tone might not be allowed sadly.


He will also be the replacement of myself who had no name in the old buggy game.

  • Hello Jacob! I'm Blake, and welcome to your first night on the job! Now let's not get ahead of ourselves as we need to stretch our legs and be prepared to see what will eventually happen during the first night. I am myself working as a night guard during my first shift in another place across from here. Let's jump into what we will have to deal with here.

  • Hey, it's me again. Uhh, sorry about that, my phone wasn't working and I had to fix it during my shift. It's pretty uhh, you know, out of place.. But, I've been seeing some changes myself. You see, those equipment's are becoming more deadlier now, and it's not going to be a good one.

  • Oh. I thought you wouldn't pick up. But, sixth night, are you sure about this?.. Well, some overtime won't hurt but, for me, I'm done here. I've basically gotten everything down, and you should be too. If you do survive this, don't plan on coming back. It's not a good idea anymore. This idea of a building wasn't a good idea to do. How did these equipment's came to life?.. No.. I shouldn't get too distracted, I should focus..

She is basically the replacement of Blake for a few nights. These swaps are similar to the ones over in FNaF 3, but in a different way.

In Night 3, she won't be a guide, but rather explain to the player about how the place goes, and what these certain equipments are. She is a co-manager of the place, hence is why she gives more info to the people that are hired to watch the place.


She won't be heard again after half-way of the call on Night 4, but she is planned to be active in the next game of the trilogy.


Any accent is fine, as long as the range is in between the 20-30's of age.


Once selected, the voice actor has the option to voice in the old game as well, talking to the player on Night 7 if they do a return over there.

  • Hello, and welcome to your third night! I'm Morgan, and will be the replacement of Blake for a short while. They are saying that his phone is malfunctioned, and needs to be checked. For now, I won't really be any help, but rather tell you more information about this place, and more on the equipment's. Here will be your first set of information.

  • And yeah, that is how they work. Make sure to understand this info, as it can help you stay aware. Thanks for taking your time with me. I will now swap over calls over to Blake, as he has his phone fixed to speak with you again. Give us one moment.

One of the four moving objects, and the main antagonist of the game. Along with every other equipment, they have to make it to the office if the player happens to mess up.

He doesn't move until Night 3, just like in FNaF with Freddy's AI.


For Kitchy, he basically needs a low-medium pitched volume who doesn't care as much anymore when they kill the player.

If selected, they also have the option to voice in my old game Five Night's At Knife's, a poorly made game with no effort put into it whatsoever.

One of the four moving objects, and the main antagonist of the game. Along with every other equipment, they have to make it to the office if the player happens to mess up.

He may move on the first night, but likely on the second. If he doesn't attack the player, only may Dagger and Hunter will do so.


He will always launch himself towards the left side of the office. If he successfully makes it, he will always not care about the player, and feel like he has done what he had to-to make his members proud.


For Throwette, he will need a medium-high pitched volume who will feel accomplished when he kills the player.

A side equipment that is hidden in the game. Similar to Golden Freddy, it can kill the player if its poster is bloody. It's also a futuristic automatic upgrade to Kitchy, which may be considered an animatronic.

He will only appear in an Easter Egg. If spotted and not dealt with, or if a certain code is set, he will always kill the player and stop the project, with certain lines before saying so.


He has no emotions whatsoever, and does not even feel anything around him.


For Mr. Roy, he will need a low-medium pitched volume who will feel nothing when it kills the player.


(This idea is by one of my friends, who I decided to take and make something similar about as well)

A role to those who have not been selected, and may/will be in future games in the trilogy. This may include Jakob Hass, a person who can finally talk, but only a little, and a phone person, who may guide Blake to survive (After his missing). There could also be other objects in further games, where new or similar faces can meet.

People who have submitted to this project will be set here, depending on who I think is best. There may be about 3 - 10 people, depending on how many I set.


This can be as many people as I'd like to work with, who can be any person, with any pitch range (Male and Female).
