Five Nights At Freddy's: Reassembled [Audio Drama]
Project Overview
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Vanessa Shelly is offered a low-entry security job for the grand relaunch of 'Freddy's Pizza Palace'. Accepting this as the start to what is hopefully a new chapter in her life, things take an unexpected turn once buried secrets begin crawling their way back to the surface.
WHAT IS THIS PROJECT?:
Hello! My name is Wyman- I am an online writer and content creator. This project is going to be a fully cast Five Nights at Freddy's Audio Drama.
AUDITIONING INFO:
Below, there is a wide range of characters that can be filled. There aren't any strict requirements; all I ask is decent microphone quality with little background noise. Select characters have tips on specific things I'm looking for, but for the most part, feel free to make the characters your own!
EXTRA DETAILS:
Once roles are cast, I will get a hold of each of you to secure communication. Now, one thing I have to preference is that this project is lengthy and contains A LOT of lines for prominent characters. Only audition if you're willing to commit to the role for a period of time. Scenes will be due weekly. Once complete, the Audio Drama will premiere on YouTube. Of course, everyone participating will receive full credit in both the video and the description, and a link to the handle of your choice will be provided.
MATURITY RATING:
This Audio Drama will contain strong language and mature violence. (18+)
HAVE FUN!:
Good luck with auditions, and message me if there are any questions or concerns. Thank you for considering helping with this project and have a wonderful day!

Main protagonist
Vanessa is an introverted, struggling young adult trying to cope with the absence of identity. When the true nature of the restaurant becomes clear, her already struggling mind enters a new level of deterioration, or from her perspective, restoration.
(For this character, I'm looking for a subdued performance reflective of the character's timid and vulnerable nature that can still reach high levels of intensity)

Dreams are supposed to be a window to the subconscious. A metaphysical wandering of the mind, bridging our idea of the truth and the truth itself.
Finding a job is easier said than done. No college degree. No prospects. No place hiring. (Stressful sigh) Fresh out of school. Fresh out of luck.
Mr. Afton never mentioned the animatronics could speak, let alone wander. Is this a mechanical oversight... or an intentional design feature...?
Secondary protagonist
Jeremy serves to bring some levity to the story as a direct contrast to Vanessa's psychological journey. He's heroic, witty, and above all, wants to do right by Freddy's Pizza Palace's numerous victims.

Trust me, the job is more boring than it sounds. At this point, I wouldn't mind an intruder.
VANESSA, GET DOWN!
We can't turn a blind eye to this! Those children need us!
Main antagonist
William Afton is the restaurant owner and secret culprit behind Freddy's grisly murders. The serial killer operates behind an eccentric persona and comes equipped with high intelligence and remarkable composure.
(For this iteration of William Afton, I'm looking for a bombastic performance indicative of a showman. A performer. His murderous intent is hidden behind a convincingly friendly and energetic demeanor, with subtle cracks of the true monster inside)

The past has now consumed the present. A long-anticipated relaunch. (Comedically dramatic voice) 'Freddy's Pizza Palace' coming to a location near you!
Relax. Freddy's Pizza Palace may very well be the safest place on Earth. Look at our inspection grade. Nothing to worry about but rowdy children and the occasional petty dispute between families. Security guards are only an additional safety measure.
I *always* come back.
Antagonist
Circus Baby has a plan. Unlike the others, she communicates with those capable of helping, seeking aid and offering aid of her own in return. Though, behind false pleasentries lies a more insidious goal.
(For this character, looking for a performance that is as reserved and ominous as the game counterpart)
Baby performs a vocal rendition of Security Breach's "Showtime". Audition if you're comfortable with singing!

You are the only one who can save us.
Freddy does not like playing along. He can be a... 'bad sport.' Stay weary of him.
If we looked like you... we could be free. Don't you want us to be free?
Antagonist
Freddy is the namesake of this restaurant, and he has every intention of making that known. He is sadistic and relishes killing.

(Ominous) Come give Freddy a hug!
(Ominous) You're a superstar!
(Ominous) There's no 'I' in leave...
Antagonist
The most tragic of the Circus Gang. All Balora wants to do is perform, and yet, she is continually shafted. If only the world could hear what she has to say. If only the world could hear who she is.
Balora performs a remixed rendition of Donald O'Connor's "Make 'Em Laugh". Audition if you're comfortable with singing!

If no one can see me, am I even here?
I was born for the stage. Not created, for artistry requires a soul.
There's no shame in pretending. We all pretend.
Antagonist
Music has always been for a more... 'simple' audience. Foxy has no interest in 'simple'. He is a fan of the theatrics. Give him a chance and he'll make you laugh.

ARGH! Make way for the fiercest blubber mouth of the seven seas!
Knock knock. Who's there? He. He who? He who laughs! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
(Weak) Tough... crowd...
Minor character
Well-meaning police officer and family man. Dunn wants to ensure the local community is at ease and is content with dismissing past instances of Freddy's "mishappenings". When his son's life is involved, however, the officer becomes active in the investigation.

Stories are just that. Stories. Don't look too deep into 'em.
This is official police business. Try not to get involved.
John never came home yesterday. Quit with the games, WHERE IS HE?!
Minor character
John has never been the conspiratorial type. That all changes when one of his closest friends disappears during a late-night shift. Determined to find the truth, he plans on taking matters into his own hands.

Dad, just listen, I was on the phone with Fritz when it happened. Why would I make this up?!
Everyone, be careful and stay on task. We don't want to overstay our welcome.
Is that Fritz's hat?! Carlton, stop playing around and hand it over!
Minor character
Normalcy and structure. Those are Marla's core necessities. Such necessities vanish when her friend goes missing. She's terrified of venturing into something dangerous, but too strong of heart to ignore the situation. Into the dark she goes.

Let's get all of our facts straight before we do something drastic.
Those things creep me out...
This place has a bad history. It'd be in our best interest not to become part of it.
Minor Character
No one takes Carlton seriously, least of all himself. The snarky and sarcastic teen prefers taking things easy and takes life as it comes. When his friend goes missing, Carlton agrees to help. After all, breaking and entering might be fun.

No offense, but as a professional liar, your Dad suuuuuucks at lying.
That's my secret, John... I'm always high.
Duuuude, those robots are wicked. Not in a "they look cute" sorta way, more of a "it would suck if they turned against humanity and killed us all"... way.
Minor Character
Fritz Smith couldn't care less about the new security gig. He hates kids, and talking animals have always given him the heebie jeebies. But the pay is good. Unfortunately, the new hire may soon learn that no amount of money is worth the occupational hazards.

Speak for yourself. Getting paid to sit around and do nothing? I think I've found my calling.
Think the owner is a little... too sentimental? The way he talks about this restaurant comes off as obsessed.
Wait... did Freddy just move?!
Minor Character
Ben Carcer is Vanessa's therapist, eager to help the traumatized client find some closure and progress. He's professional but sympathetic all the same.

Today marks two years. Two whole years since our first session. Unbelievable how time flies.
I feel as though... you're hiding. Even after little over a hundred hours between the two of us, we haven't gotten anywhere. I've yet to see the real Vanessa Shelly. Why is that?
Funerals aren't for the dead, Vanessa, they're for the living. They can provide a great many things. The greatest among them being the very thing you're seeking. Closure.
