Fireteam Reaper Ep. 1 "Fireteam Reaper"

Project Overview

This story follows a group of elite Spartans from Fireteam Reaper. The characters are: Michael-298 (Fireteam Leader), Ben-055 (CQB Specialist), and Jay-567 (Stealth Specialist). There is also Athena, the Fireteam's AI that helps them on mission, and the Rebel Leader, who is their target. The dynamic of the Fireteam is very similar to Blue Team from the main Halo story. They are a team who have trained with eachother since they were children and are very in sync with each other. The best example I can link is the Blue Team intro cinematic from Halo 5: Guardians (I'm mostly talking about the small exchange between them all before they exit the pelican in the first minute or so).

I am planning to make this a full series, so if I choose you for a role I will hope you'll come back and continue working with me. c:

I will NOT accept any low-quality/static-y mics, regardless of how well you say the lines. I'm looking for some decent quality, nothing professional-grade (but that would be nice!).

The Rebel Leader's characteristics are that of someone who doesn't want to be in the position he's in (leader of a whole compound), and is very much cowardly. The closest voice I could find that resembles what I want from him is General Doyle from Red vs. Blue.  Here is a sample of Doyle speaking: https://youtu.be/1rH8Uz_ZpF8?t=5m51s

EDIT: In the first and third lines, I'm looking for a voice that is shaky and fearful. In the second line, I'm looking for a less shaky, but more confident voice.

  • P-please don’t kill me. I’ll tell you anything you want to know. Just please spare me.

  • We were planning to launch a large scale biological attack on Deliverance, and my commanders were going to have some of the bombs stored here.

  • S-So what’s going to happen to me?

Michael is very closely related to the Master Chief in how is characteristics are. He's somewhat withdrawn, not big on socialization, but is amazing in the field. His voice is similar to Chief's, but a little more gravily.

EDIT: In both lines, Michael is talking to Ben, first explaining the fortifications of the base, so he's still very collected and calm. He's speaking clearly. In the second, he's slightly more panicked, because he wasn't expecting the leader to be coming out of the garage with a group. However, he's still collected and speaking clearly and sharply.

  • Skull 2, the base seems moderately defended. A few patrols and turret stations, but I have no visual on the interior.

  • Skull 2, the target is being escorted out of the garage, I’ll try to keep them back but you have to get there.

Athena is Fireteam Reaper's AI, so all she does is keep track of each member of the team and brief them on missions. Her characteristics are very uniform for the most part, but she does try to relate with each team member when they're stressed, angry, or sad. She's very official yet caring. her voice is similar to Diana Burnwood's from the Hitman franchise. She's very flat, with only slight inflections in her tone and somewhat robotic at times. Here is a sample of Diana's voice: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5z8QQApeO2k

  • Athena to Skull 1, do you copy?

  • Your objective will be to clear the base and eliminate the rebel leader in control of the base

  • Good hunting, Skull 1.

Ben's character is somewhat close to Edward Buck from Halo 3: ODST and Halo 5: Guardians. He's serious when he needs to be, but also throws little bits of humor in where approriate. Although his characteristics are closer to Buck's, I'd like him to have a voice similar to Fred-104. That's a deep, low-pitch voice.

EDIT: In the first and second lines, Ben is talking Michael, asking about the base and then giving his ETA. So his voice is collected, calm, and ready. In the third line, Ben is talking to Jay after Jay brutally kills the Rebel Leader, so he's slightly afraid, but not a lot because he knows Jay wouldn't hurt him and still speaks clearly.

  • Skull 2 to Skull 1, what’s the status?

  • Just a few more moments. Make sure the gate’s open, will you?

  • You know, you scare me sometimes... Let’s go.
