Project Overview

Once the deadline is reached, I will either extend the deadline if I'm still working on a comic or decide on a comic to work on and then extend the deadline for the other comics. However, I will not close any of the roles until a deadline is reached.

I will be using the auditions lines for the lines in the video so please keep that in mind for when you hand in your lines, however I may still ask you for redos if I feel it is needed.

Please feel free to give a minimum of two takes up to a maximum of four takes per line with variations, I'd prefer if you gave me more to choose from. I'd ideally like to work with those over 18 as I plan to do more comics and would ideally like to use the same cast. I look forward to seeing your auditions!

  • Casting Update

    Hello, I thought I'd make an update regarding this casting call in case anyone is checking back so apologies it has taken this long.

    I have already cast Marianne but the rest of the roles will remain uncast as I am focusing getting a few comics out in December, so the roles here will only be cast at the earliest late December.

  • Extended Deadline

    I have extended the casting call deadline to 26th August as I'm still working on a comic. Thank you all who have auditioned already.

    I just thought I'd add that if anyone is willing to redo auditions, I'm happy to give feedback on what could be changed to get closer to what I'm looking for so just add a note to your audition when submitting it please.

For her first line I would like for a more somber, self hating direction in terms of delivery, as if this is somethings she tells herself routinely for years and she feels hollow/empty/dead inside.

Ideally I would like her voice to sound light, medium-high and soft spoken.

I would like for her lines to be filled with authority and intent, she's a dominant figure as the Empress. She speaks clearly and gathers focus with her domineering voice.

For the last line, I would like to hear straight takes and/or a very brief pause like "It's not... Hubert".


Ideally a medium to medium-low voice but not required.

Diamant is a guy who takes his duty as crown prince and commander very seriously, the type who forgoes sleep in order to complete his work and responsibilities.


For the first line I would like him to sound something along the lines of exasperated, he constantly has to deal with his father not doing his job and instead doting on Diamant's brother and it's something he sees routinely. But he is also one to dote on his brother himself too.


Ideally I would like his voice to sound like an adult who works too much with a medium-low voice but it is not required.
