  • Er, no..No It's nothing. It's just that well, I just didn't consider you the type to care after beauty and such. I suppose I've never really though of you as a laday.

  • I'm sorry! Very, very sorry! I misheard you, I swear it. I had no intention of peeping!

  • D-dislike you?! Egards, Robin, of course I don't dislike you! Nothing could be further from the truth.

  • Your grip, stance and breathing are wrong. Focus, Robin. ... Again!

  • I fear I've rarely been able to choke down wild game, and bear least of all. But as the war grows harsher, I can no longer afford to be picky.

  • I was thinking about what would happen if I managed to overcome my weakness. We would have no more reason to spend time together and yet, I cannot bear the thought of leaving your side, Robin.

  • Yeah, Cheap is good. Chrom's never been much for gold and glitter, anyway.

  • Well, in a way it was for my own sake. Troubled folks make me unconfortable. When I see friends fighting, my first instinct is to intervene and restore peace.

  • Well, I, um... got this ring for you. And..... I want you to wear it.

When Henry was a child, his parents wanted nothing to do with him for unknown reasons, and had him sent to an elite magic school to get rid of him (in the Japanese version, he was sent to an orphanage). The institution that he was sent to was a cruel place, where they carried out painful punishments, where Henry likely endured great hardships, as he ended up becoming slow to feel any pain.

  • Guess I was having way too much fun playing with this to notice you come in.

  • Heck, I always obey orders! Well, except for stupid ones like 'don't fight the enemy.' If someone tried to tell me that, I'd cut 'em in half and feed them to the crows!

  • Oh, don't mind the skulls and snakes carved in it. It's not cursed or anything. I could never curse anyone I liked as much as I like you.

However, this is revealed to be merely for dramatic effect, and he admits in the Hot-Spring Scramble that he actually does not have uncontrollable power. He is part of the Justice Cabal along with Cynthiaand Morgan.

  • Oh, 'tis the lady tacticion! I Sense your appearance is evidence of Fortune's work. Would milady for the nonce stop the sands of time, that o'er centuries have flowed.

However, Ke'ri was killed by bandits and her parents blamed him for her death, though later in his conversations with Cherche, he learns that Ke'ri's parents no longer hate him for her death, and have forgiven him. Out of shame, Lon'qu fled Chon'sin and arrived in Ferox, where he trained to become stronger. After honing his skills for many years, Lon'qu caught the attention of the West-Khan Basilio. Impressed by his swordsmanship, Basilio made Lon'qu his champion during the Ferox tournament.

Gerome eventually lost his father, and later his mother. After Cherche's death, Minerva flew back to Gerome and stayed with him for the rest of his life. He also received Cherche's wedding ring and has worn it ever since. Eventually, Gerome receives word from Lucina that she and the other children will return to the past to prevent the ruinous future. Gerome, however, felt that no matter how hard they try, destiny cannot be changed. While he believes that the past cannot be changed, he accompanies them anyways so that he can release Minerva into the wild, as most of the wyverns in his time had been killed. In his supports with Lucina it is revealed he lent her the mask that she used to hide her identity.

In the future, as with all other parents, Laurent's parents assisted in fighting off the Risen. His father died first and soon Miriel went missing during a battle. It is unknown if she truly died as her body was never found. However, like the other children, Miriel's ring was recovered and given to Laurent, which he continues to wear. His Summer Scramble pre-battle quote also reveals that his mage hat belonged to Miriel as well. Laurent returned to the past with the other children to prevent the ruinous future. However, due to anomalies in the time travel process, Laurent was transported 3 years before Lucina's arrival and thus made him older than Lucina despite being born after her. It is not known what Laurent did during the 5 years from his arrival in the past to the day he was recruited into Chrom's army, but Laurent battled with constant loneliness and fear that he would never meet his parents again.

  • Robin, in your role as chief tactican, you always work alone. I was wondering if perhaps you might not be overburned by your duties. Or if you might be in the need of a lieutenant...such as myself.

  • I respect you tremendously both as a tactican and a friend. But in this one area, I believe your judgement is suspect at best.

  • That was certainly part of it, yes. I care for my friends and hope to keep them well. But, in your case, it...goes deeper...you are...more than just a friend to me.

Role assigned to: SoulRave

http://fireemblem.wikia.com/wiki/Gaius
Gaius is a thief living in Ylisse and will do any job if paid the right price. He loves sweets and has candy hidden all over his body.

His support with Maribelle reveals that many years prior to the game, he once tried to ruin her father's good name; he snuck into the royal treasury to frame her father for a crime, which placed him on trial (though he later reveals that his hand was forced with the threat of Maribelle's death and his own imprisonment.) He's been trying to "atone" for what happened since then. In Gaius's support with the Avatar, he bribes them to keep secret about a criminal tattoo imprinted on him after getting caught in a heist, despite their protests and assurances that they would keep quiet. He explains that he does not believe in "something-for-nothing", and refuses to forget about it until the Avatar decides to share a secret of their own. He also is not very fond of bugs, as seen in his conversation with Lon'qu in the Summer Scramble DLC. Gaius has hypoglycemia, which is why he must carry sweets on him at all times.

  • Aw, no worries. At least I hadn't taken of my smallclothes yet, eh? Er, but I did want to mention I'm usually in much better shape.

  • Oh, I see! Books aren't good enough? Still holding out for something better?

Ricken is one of the youngest members of Chrom's Shepherds, and acts as the mascot of the group. Ricken's family was of noble stature until they lost much of their wealth. His support with the Avatar reveals that he joined the Shepherds to help restore his family's status, but he does not exactly know how to achieve such a thing just yet. Humorously, it is suggested by the Future Past conversations that his efforts to grow taller succeed.

  • But I did no such thing! Besides, that would have them worried about me in a whole other way....... See the problem? I can't LIE, but if I write about how things really are, they'll worry.

Originally a thief born in the slums, Gangrel was mistreated growing up, witnessing the robbery and death of his mother. Gangrel eventually rose to be the ruler of Plegia, and became known as the Mad King. Gangrel allied with the Grimleal and Plegia was turned into a religious dictatorship under the Grimleal. He enjoys war, and ignores Emmeryn's peace negotiations. Cruel and easily distracted, he enjoys deceiving others. After being recruited into Chrom's army, he begins to change his ways, partially due to a harsh past that weighs on his mind.

Gangrel spends much of the first half of the game trying to start a war between Plegia and Ylisse as well as acquire the Fire Emblem, with little success due to Emmeryn's pacifistic nature and the importance of the Fire Emblem to Ylisse. Gangrel's men kidnap Maribelle in order to further instigate a war and seize the Emblem, but the plan fails. After the attempted assassination of Emmeryn forces her to leave the capital, Gangrel attacks Ylisstol, causing Emmeryn to return to the capital to protect her people, allowing him to capture her upon her return.

  • Men are beasts! Nothing more! We fight! We kill! We devour our prey! Beasts do not stand behind beasts, little prince... They use each other so long as it suits their own selfish purpose!

  • You're not one for reading between the lines, are you? Then I shall spell it out.... I want you to leave Chrom and his gang, and serve as my tactician instead.

Kellam's supports reveal that he grew up with five brothers, but his family was very poor, and he never had many commodities that other children had growing up. In a support with Nowi, he mentions that his lack of presence first began when he was younger and still living with his family; since they were poor, they had to share a lot, but he was mean and did not like sharing. Eventually his family got tired of him being so selfish and began ignoring him. This would later have a profound impact in his future, as most of the people he talks to are usually shocked (excluding a few, such as Cherche).

  • Well, I just... I'm glad you finally saw me! Just try to keep an eye out from now on?

http://fireemblem.wikia.com/wiki/Brady

Brady is Maribelle's son from the future, and can potentially be the brother of Lucina or Female Morgan, should Maribelle be wed to either Chrom or the Avatar respectively. His birthday falls on February 22. According to his in-game profile, Brady is said to be, in spite of looking intimidating, more likely to burst into tears than bust out a weapon, alongside being the most likely to incur friendly fire.

In Brady's early years, Maribelle had trained in the fine arts characteristic of nobility, much to his immense dislike and chagrin. Still, despite his strong dislike for the matter, Maribelle insisted in Brady's training and he became skilled in noble pursuits such as proper etiquette, horseback riding, and violin playing. Brady has shown a great interest in playing the violin in particular but unfortunately it was a stray snapped violin string that gave Brady his scar over his left eye. Unfortunately for Maribelle, despite her best attempts to fix Brady's rough and thuggish enunciation, Brady could not shake his habit and eventually Maribelle gave up. Like all of the other children, Brady lost Maribelle and his father when they helped to fight off the Risen with the other parents. Maribelle's wedding ring was recovered and given to Brady, which he always wears. When Lucina decided to return to the past to stop the ruinous future, Brady accompanied her but the time stream separated Brady and the other children.

  • Aw, come on, Ma! That's harsh! Sure, I'm not the prettiest guy around, but I'm no thug, and I AM your son! ...And it's good to see you.

As the son of Panne and her human husband, Yarne was born in the future as the first human-taguel hybrid. This made him a clear sign that the Taguel would survive. Unfortunately, he lost both parents at a young age. His father's death was particularly painful: he promised to Yarne that he'd return from battle, but died in the battle right after this conversation, breaking that promise. With the death of his mother Panne, Yarne became the new "Last Taguel" in the world. Though Yarne has immense pride of his Taguel heritage, he also feels like he's burdened by his "Last Taguel" status. Unlike the other children, Yarne does not mention having Panne's wedding ring, but is assumed to have followed suit. Seeing the opportunity as a means of self-preservation, Yarne joins Lucina and the other children to travel back to the past to prevent the ruinous future. Upon arriving in the past, separated from his friends, Yarne searched for strong allies to protect him and eventually stumbles upon the Stonewall Knights, whom he stays with until the revelation with Lucina at Carrion Isle.

  • Aw, come on, Ma! That's harsh! Sure, I'm not the prettiest guy around, but I'm no thug, and I AM your son! ...And it's good to see you.”

  • I'm the last of the Tanguel, right? So it's essential I keep myself alive. So when you set up the battle formations, can you keep me somewhere safe?

He sounds a lot like a woman, but is a man.

Libra is a saint and war monk of Ylisse with a calm and composed nature; he joined the clergy after a painful life of neglect due to being abandoned by his parents, which left a literal scar on his neck as revealed in his support with Nowi. Due to this he developed a distrust of people and even haphephobia, or fear of being touched. While the details of his past are never made explicit, it is heavily implied that Libra seeks to atone for it, first by becoming a priest to help others, and then by lending his strength towards Emmeryn's rescue.

Hearing of Emmeryn's impending execution, Libra and a group of his fellow clergymen head off to Plegia to rescue the Exalt. However they are met by the Grimleal along the way and slowly, their numbers dwindle until only Libra is left. Libra arrives at Plegia Castle in Chapter 9 just as Gangrel is about to execute Emmeryn. He fights his way through some of the Grimleal there until he eventually encounters Chrom and asks to join his ranks to save the Exalt.

After the war, Libra builds an orphanage and watches over the children there for many years. He is courted by many women and men and is said to be the incarnation of Naga.

  • Well, to be honest, I don't know much about it either.
