Hey guys, so there has been a huge hiatus with this series because we lost some of the main talant one after another and things just broke down. But now we're back with a vengeance and lovely HD graphics :')
We have a discord for scripts and line drop offs as well as any questions. So you gotta be able to join
I am looking to cast two main characters here Steiner and Freya
These must be filled ASAP, Especially Freya as she appears in the very next episode
Feel free to audition for any and all roles, if you have a variety of voices I will even use some main cast as extras now and then.
More Roles are likely to follow as they pop up

Kuja is the main antagonist of Final Fantasy IX. He operates behind the scenes, at first working in Queen Brahne of Alexandria's shadow. He wishes to acquire the power of the eidolons to come to rule Gaia. He is a powerful sorcerer who rides a silver dragon.
Kuja speaks in metaphors, referring to Garnet as a "canary" and Brahne as "the elephant-lady". His refined nature juxtaposes his role as a sadistic war-bringer.
With Kuja being particularly feminine I am certainly open to a female VO interpretation
Peace is but a shadow of death, desperate to forget its painful past... Though we hope for promising years after shedding a thousand tears, yesterday's sorrow constantly nears. And while the moon still shines blue, by dawn, it will turn to scarlet hue.

Oh, how I've longed for this day... the day I might finally cast away this mask to reveal my true self. Now it no longer matters if the Iifa Tree is liberated. It means nothing to me! The tree is so beautiful. Its beauty becomes the great mother tree that lives among the stars!

I was fully in love with the previous actors incarnation of Steiner, thus I am looking for YOU to sound as close as possible to him. Below are links to previous episode so you can get to grips with his character and voice

Steiner initially places complete loyalty to Queen Brahne, and prioritizes Garnet's safety above all else. He begins with a narrow-minded world-view, having complete faith in the queen, and contempt for criminals beneath royalty, and being driven by this world-view and his emotion. He is polite and well-spoken when addressing others, particularly those whom he respects, though he scorns those who he does not. Nonetheless, he will reluctantly put aside his dislike of common thieves for Princess Garnet's sake. Steiner acts as the game's comic relief character, especially in the beginning where he is the target of numerous jokes.
Over there! It's princess Garnet! Being hounded by brigands! Fear not, Princess! Your knight is coming!

Chivalry requires a knight to look after his comrades-in-arms. I will not abandon you! And I shall follow you to kingdom come if I must. You remember that!
For Freya I do not mind if you do not sound exactly like the previous actress as the character has only recently been introduced, unlike Steiner.
I put in part of a scene for freya as I want to cast her as soon as i can, You do not have to do it if you dont want to, so I added an extra line below

Freya is Burmecian, a race of anthropomorphic rats who live in two cities, Burmecia and Cleyra. She hails from Burmecia, but left several years ago in search of her lost love, Sir Fratley. Zidane meets her in Lindblum just before the Festival of the Hunt.
Woman at the Counter: "Hey, monkey-tail, you're disturbing the other customers."
Zidane: "What the--you've got a tail, too, rat-face!"
Woman at the Counter: "Rat-face...After I finish my drink, I'm gonna kick your butt."
Bobo: "Hey, Zidane, take it outside."
Zidane: "!!!"
Woman at the Counter: "Long time, Zidane."
Zidane: "Hey! What's up!? Wait a minute..."
Woman at the Counter: "You forgot my name?"
Zidane: "No, I remember. You're Helga, right?"
Woman at the Counter: "Wrong."
Zidane: "...Christine?"
Woman at the Counter: "No!"
Zidane: "...Oh yeah! You used to live next door to me. How's it going...Ratchel? Man, you've really gotten...big."
Woman at the Counter: "You nasty little--"
Zidane: "Come on. I'm just kiddin'. You know I never forget a pretty girl's name."
(The player can name the woman in red. Default: Freya.)
Zidane: "So, how've you been, Freya?"
Freya: "...Same old Zidane."
Zidane: "How long has it been?"
Freya: "About 3 years."
Zidane: "Hey, did you ever find out anything about your boyfriend?"
Freya: "No..."
Zidane: "So... What brings you to Lindblum?"
Freya: "The Festival of the Hunt. What else? It's a good opportunity to test my skills."
Zidane: "Oh... Well, I'm sure you'll find him someday."
Freya: "Aren't you participating?"
Zidane: "...Nah. I think I'll pass."
Freya: "Lazy bum."
Zidane: "...Are you ever gonna go back?"
Freya: "I have no reason to return to Burmecia. There is nothing there for me anymore."
The sky looks ominous. Something is about to happen. Sir Fratley, where are you...? I need you...I failed Burmecia.. but I won't fail Cleyra, no matter what.
Fratley... You never came back... You've left me with nothing except rumors of your death. I couldn't believe it! I still won't believe it! Never. Not until I witness proof of your death with my own eyes. And I will travel across the world forever if I must...
Beatrix is a proud, merciless and threatening soldier, respected and feared among warriors all around Gaia as the finest of them all. She does not like to take a back seat to anyone, especially Kuja and his black mages, and initially views Captain Steiner of the Knights of Pluto as a rival. While loyal to Queen Brahne, her first priority is protecting the citizens of Alexandria. Beatrix acts stoic towards her enemies, but has a kind heart, willingness to forgive, and is soft-spoken and polite to her allies.

"Hey, wait a minute! You're the general of this kingdom. As the general of Alexandria, what is your sworn duty!? Isn't it to protect Dagger - your Princess Garnet? I'm sure you know who's sitting over there." (Zidane)
"It can't be... Princess... So, it was true. The queen really did mean to kill her..." (Beatrix)
"What!!!? No! The queen would never do such a thing!" (Steiner)
"Steiner, it is time for you to accept the truth... My heart is set. All this time, I have been mistaken..." (Beatrix)
"I hate to say this, but the lady's right, Rusty. You'd better learn to accept it." (Zidane)"That was ridiculous. My troops alone would've been more than enough to take Cleyra. Why does the queen insist on using black mages and eidolons? I didn't train all these years so I could take a backseat to anyone... [black mages walk past] There's no difference between them and me. We're all just blindly following orders. My heart and my will mean nothing. Maybe Steiner was right..."
Zorn and Thorn are over-dramatic and panicky, resorting to running around mindlessly when something goes wrong, and one always follows the other. They speak with exclamation, constantly shouting at each other and proclaiming the other is wrong. They are sycophants that court those in power and, despite their childish behavior, are loyal to those they serve. Zorn and Thorn can act cowardly in times of danger and flee.
I really loved what the previous actor gave for Zorn and Thorn. If you could get close or atleast match the energy, you're good

Although once kind and benevolent, when Brahne's husband died, she became cruel and bitter. A mysterious man named Kuja convinced her to wage war on the other nations of the Mist Continent, leading to her insatiable greed and subsequent indifference over preserving innocent lives. Brahne becomes blinded by her desire to rule and even puts her daughter's safety at risk.
Below is a reference for the previous actress we held, but i'm more than happy to hear interpretations for this character :)

Sir "Iron-Tail" Fratley is a legendary Burmecian Dragon Knight and explorer in Final Fantasy IX, and the lover of Freya Crescent. He is 25 years old.[1] He first appears as Stranger before Freya identifies him.
Fratley is driven by his duty to protect his homeland of Burmecia. He is a fearless knight
As his title suggests, I would like to hear a hint of a royal tone in his voice, lemmie hear what you got :)
I hear there are many fierce warriors out in the world - some more powerful than even I... Beatrix of Alexandria, in particular. They say her swordsmanship is the best in the land.
Right now Burmecia is at peace, while other nations are slowly but surely gaining power. I don't know if my spear alone is enough to protect Burmecia... which is precisely why I must go out into the world
We meet countless people during the story, som even fight us. Like the black mages. Feel free to drop a demo reel or just spout some nonsense, if you got a good voice and a decent mic, id be happy to welcome you to the FanDub, fulfilling many many roles
