Back story: 

An ancient village of fauns is found in the forest, far from human contact, where no human dares venture. These faun creatures live in the forest without caring about the outside world since everything they require is already there. They only hunt for what they need, leading to a hunter-gatherer lifestyle for thousands of years.Among the inhabitants of this village is a faun named Fauna, who was born into her mother's loving arms. But her father was another story. During her youth, a faun was constantly in fear of her father. The only time she saw him was when he was drunk or in a rage. If Fauna did not listen to his demand, it would lead to another scar or bruise.When her baby sister was born, her father went on a rampage. Fauna trying to protect her newborn sister, got in between her father, leading him to strangle her. Her mother, still weak, could not stand this and attacked him with all her might, dropping Fauna to the ground. Fauna ran to her sister, grabbed her, and sprinted into the woods, not looking back until she could hide in a tree trunk. Her father staggered behind, looking for them. In the quiet of the night, Fauna declared to herself right then and there that she would never feel helpless again. She promised to protect those who are incapable of protecting themselves.Many hours passed as she held her sister, for the sounds of her father's footsteps had somehow just disappeared. That night she came home to a house with only her mother, sister, and herself. Forever scared around her neck. Almost as a constant reminder of that night. After that day, a power arose within her, as if the earth and herself were one and the same.This, however, did not change their status in their village. Due to his status as an outcast, fauna's powers reinforced this belief within the village. Without friends, she mostly kept to herself and her sister. She found out the kids didn't want to play with her, but the animals and plants did.Many years passed, and Fauna's beauty grew with her becoming a fine young lady. However, she was a hidden one at that, for she had no desire to do anything with the other villagers. Instead, she found happiness with her forest friends. Unexpectedly, while she collected berries, she attracted an unexpected guest. A large stranger she had never seen before. He was a tall, faun man with flowing dark hair and emerald eyes. In fear of being attacked, she flew, but after his assistants assured her that everything was fine, she came out and introduced himself to her as Damion. It was love at first sight, and they have never left each other's side since.Although Damion wasn't from this land, he shared stories of the outside world and had new experiences and adventures with fauna. She shows the ancient woods' secrets. Both getting closer to each other. Years passed, and at 20, Damion proposed, and Fauna said yes.Though fans have multiple mates, it's rare for two to mate for life. To symbolize this, they cast matching golden rings to be worn on the opposite side of each ear, signifying being one half of a hole. They start a life together, building a home on the outskirts of the village. Damion went hunting, and Fauna collected herbal and medicinal plants with her little friends. Living peacefully together.

Back story: 

A couple who could not conceive a child prayed to the Celestials for help. Brady, aka Bartholomew, was born through their love and devotion to the Celestials. But being their star child, they were very protective of him. Young Brady craved adventure so much that he sneaked off their estate beyond his family’s property into the woods to see what excitement he could find. His mother and father would inevitably have to chase him down and bring him back home, kicking and screaming all the way back. 

The one time he left would change his life.

One night Brady snuck out into the forest, finding a lake, not knowing a creature under Porphyrios's influence resided in its depths; it was difficult to see the monster, but it was unlike any Brady had ever seen. Then it attacked him from beyond his vision. His parents came from behind in a panic to save him, but they were taken by the creature in the dead of night. That morning, Brady could not find them or their remains and returned to his home alone. 

When his parents were declared missing, his grandparents raised him from then on. At 10, he was sent to The Arcane School of Wizardry. There he learned magic and astrological knowledge of the stars.

 After Brady graduated from The Arcane School of Wizardry, he was strapped for cash and did anything he could find. This included library work and being a traveling magician. Then one day, he found a job researching corrupt and highly volatile magic items to study their irregularities. Brady knew an old classmate from his school days who knew how to procure such items, but it would be highly volatile. He decided it was worth the risk and took him up on his offer. His contact facilitated a back alley deal with a smuggler, some local raiders, and some corrupt lawmen. The smuggler named Gunther, a fire gin goliath who brought many hazardous magic items and cursed totems. However, one of them ended up in flames, destroying all his goods. As a result, they began fighting each other for what remained and retaliating against the smuggler they thought had attacked them. In the heat of the battle, Gunther nearly killed Brady. However, he convinced Gunther that he was not to blame and that they could help each other escape with their lives. To save their lives, they formed a quick alliance and made their way out. Using Brady’s brain and Gunther’s brute strength, they avoided death and capture.

Brady’s contract was dead, and Gunther's smuggler's reputation was tarnished. The two then agreed to recover more items and artifacts and split the money from their sale. And they’ve been at it ever since. As well as liberating magical items. Gunther also convinced Brady to take up bounty hunting as another way to earn income when money was tight. They soon became a dynamic duo that was almost unstoppable. In truth, Brady always wanted brothers, and Gunther had lost all he could call family years prior. They got on well, and where you could find one, the other was not too far behind.

she was always taken care of by her sister Fauna and was babied since birth; she has no memories of her late father, and with neither Fauna nor her mom wanting to hurt her, keep their dark past hidden from her, leading her to have a normal childhood though having the witch as ur mother did have some drawbacks. wanting to keep a normal life. She has always been a bright light for her family and the light in the dark. this will be the first year of her looking for a mate, but she might not want to, for she wants what fauna has.
