Female Voice Needed for childrens book animated short film "The Boy and the Moon"
Project Overview
"The Boy and the Moon" is about a child whose mother is dying. The boy goes on a journey to save his mother by catching the moon. This film will feature an experimental art style similar to shadow puppets and lightboxes to fully capture the feeling of childlike imagination, and show grief from a child's point of view.

Voice Actor
The narrator's voice is soothing and calming, like reading a bedtime story to a young child. The narrator also voices The Boy, The Mother, and the giant Mother of the Moon. The narrator's voice will change slightly for all of these characters.
Before the boy's mother died, she looked out the window and saw the moon.
So the boy set sail towards the moon. But soon wind and waves and thunder and lightning and buckets and buckets of rain rocked the boy in his little boat.
"Mama," The boy began to ask. "What's wrong?"
"Everything's just fine" His mother replied. "Hey, don't you start crying now. When I'm gone I'll still be here watching over you, just like the moon in the night sky."
