Zypher is a MG/YA fantasy book I self-published a few years ago. The book has seven short stories plus and epilogue. Storms is the third story in this book.
Fariga is a story about a race in Zypher. They are all made up of sickly and disabled children. They are that way because they didn't have powers when they were born. They don't make it to their teen years.
Enter Owen, an undercover officer infiltrating a Fariga medical facility to expose malpractice against the Fariga. While he's there, he grows fond of two kids in particular, Sean and Isabella. As he works to expose the facility, he reveals a shocking secret: Owen is a Fariga himself!
Telling stories has been a passion of mine for a very long time. I love telling stories that inspire, help, and impact people in a positive way. I am looking for people who are passionate about storytelling like I am and want to make something that matters.
I am casting voice actors and actresses right now. For the minor roles you should be able to finish within a week of being casted as there are not many lines. For main roles, you should be able to finish your lines within 2-4 weeks of being casted. Since these are short stories, they aren't very long and shouldn't take that long to complete. If for whatever reason you aren't able to complete the lines on time, please be transparent with me. I understand things happen.

Owen is a lively, charismatic man who goes undercover to expose a medical facility for malpractice of there patients called the Fariga. The Fariga are a race comprised children who have severe disabilities that can't be cured and eventually meet their end before they can reach their teen years.
His personality makes him a favorite of the children, two in particular. As he grows fond of them, he becomes more motivated to rescue these children, all while staying undercover and not reveling who he truly is, a Fariga himself!
I need someone who has a comedic and engaging tone. The inspiration for his personality came from Cayde 6 from destiny/destiny 2. I have attached a link to this character so you can get an idea of what he sounds like.

Destiny 2 – “Last Call” Teaser
(rubs under his nose) Sorry, it’s a force of habit. I’m into architecture, and I think there can be a better layout to the floorplan. A few flowers here, a few bottles of hand sanitizers there—(sarcastic) some more people who have charming personalities like yours.
(speaking to the kids) There are more kids your age here, too, so you both won’t be alone. Think of me as your guardian. A handsome, funny, and charismatic guardian who protects you. And since I’m in charge of taking care of you, you will get cake and cookies every night! ...Don’t tell anyone I said that, especially that one woman who looks like this. (mimics the face of an angry woman)
Whoopsie, already called to the principal’s office. You kids stay out here and have fun. I will be back later...hopefully. (talking to the angry woman in a jokingly) Word gets around here fast. Who tattle-taled on me? Was it Dave?
Sean is a 12-year-old Fariga boy in a wheelchair with multiple disabilities. He and his younger sister were left at the hospital by their parents. Sean has a feeling that they won't last for much longer. Despite this, he stays brave for his younger sister and starts to quickly look up to Owen.
I would like him to sound sickly and weak.

I don’t know, Sis. (coughs hard) Maybe this is the place Mom and Dad spoke about. A place that will help us feel better.
(wheezing) I don’t want to be away from Isabella either. Please, Mr. Owen, can we stay in the same room?
I know! My sister always has her head in the clouds more than I do. She’s a drama queen, too.
Isabella is a 4-year-old Fariga girl who has a stutter. She is frightened easily and clings to her older brother a lot. She doesn't know much of what's going on other than she and her brother are in a hospital to get better. She stutters more when she is scared vs when she is relaxed.
She is a typical adorable little girl with a lot of innocence.

(scared ) W-where a-are w-we, B-bro?
(whimpering) W-wait, you m-mean that we stay in d-different rooms? I d-don’t want to be all a-alone.
I w-want my k-knight in shining armor to r-rescue me. (adorable giggle)
Dr. Edwin is the main villain of the story. He is a posh, mustache twirling man more interested in coin rather than healing the Fariga.

We’ve been notified about your unauthorized activity with the children. We strongly advise you not to partake in such frivolous conduct.
(twirls stache) No, he’s not a threat. I don’t think we will employ him much longer based on his behavior.
(speak with no empathy) As expected, the Fariga showed no progress. Their genetic mutation will not yield to any treatment.
Dr. Margaret is a scientist at the hospital. She is a cold-hearted woman who shows no sympathy for the Fariga. She has a bad attitude and thinks of people beneath her as less.

Zypher is pronounced like the word Zephyr.

(scornfully) I hope you have a valid reason for requesting a meeting at this hour, Edwin.
(snickers) You expected it would? We can never cure the Fariga. People in Zypher are fools for believing they actually matter to society.
Dr. Cooper is one Edwins flunkies. He has a southern accent.

They aren’t normal children, Mr. Owen. You understand full well they are Fariga. Sickly and handicapped because of a mutation stripping them of a normal life.
Edwin ran the results of the latest treatment for the Fariga.
Another one of Dr. Edwins flunkies. He has a low pitched voice.

Mindlessly letting them perform actions that increase the probability of worsening their symptoms isn’t wise. We don’t know the full cause of this genetic mutation, nor do we have the ability to heal it. Be warned, another step out of line and we won’t hesitate to terminate your employment.
Kalie is officer in Owen's squadron. She takes her job seriously, enacting justice where its due. She is also smitten with Owen. She has a typical "anime girl" voice, though I would like it to be more medium pitched.

We are part of a special task force here to apprehend suspects for suspicious activity and for violating Fariga rights!
(Salutes Owen, blushing) “I will! Thank you, sir.”
(Taunting) Why the long face, Margaret? Haven’t gotten a facial in a while?
Magnar is one of Owen's officers. He is a big softy who gets emotional easily. He has deep but soft voice that sounds like a "dumb" character.

Nifty is an officer in Owen's squad. He is an oddball, often labeled as a weirdo. He constantly has a mischievous grin and chuckle.
(rubbing his hand chuckling mischievously) How else may I be of service, Chief?
(points as if singling her out for doing something bad) Kalie did, sir.
(snotty) Mr. Owen “we’re ready for you.
(snarls) Enough for me to deserve a raise! (pen breaks) Crap! That’s the fourth one already!
