Fangs is an indie animated supernatural drama following a group of teenagers and young adults whose lives are in a hidden world of vampires, werewolves, witches, and other creatures living in secret among humans. As old conflicts resurface and long-buried secrets come to light, the group must navigate friendship, family, identity, grief, and the consequences of choices that refuse to stay in the past as a war starts to develop.
While the series explores supernatural mysteries and action, its heart lies in its characters. Each member of the cast carries their own fears, hopes, and emotional scars, creating a story that balances humor, heartfelt relationships, and high-stakes drama.
This project is a passion project currently in development, and animators and actors of all experience levels are welcome to audition. Whether you're an experienced voice actor or just starting out, don't be afraid to give it a shot! I'm looking for performers and animators who can bring genuine emotion and personality to these characters. (Warning: This show is incredibly gay)
What I'm looking for:Clear, understandable audio (professional equipment is not required)
Reliable communication
A willingness to take direction
Enthusiasm for character-driven storytelling
Thank you so much for checking out Fangs! I can't wait to hear your auditions and see these characters come to life!!

I swear if this weird show I wrote one winter day when I was bored out of my mind becomes a real, actual, animated show, I can and will cry. That is a threat. Thank you so much, freaks and frogs
Hello everyone! I shortened the deadline from January to July because I realized I didn't wanna wait all the way until January to get recording and storyboarding started (also, realistically, I don't think I'll have time to be doing casting in the middle of the year, my studies are important.) Anyway that's all! Love ya, freaks and frogs
Hot damn y'all are speedy little fellas- I posted that update like three days ago and I already have like four auditions for villains and like twelve more submissions! It's so surreal that so many people are interest in my characters and my story! Thanks so much for the support and interest so far!! Again, please SOMEONE audition for my homegirl Raven TwT she's lonely, freaks and frogs.
Lucian is a vampire frozen in adolescence who is physically young but emotionally burdened by more than a century of life. Quiet, observant, and painfully self-sacrificing, he struggles with the belief that love is something he must earn rather than deserve. His reserved nature masks an intensely loyal heart and a dry, understated sense of humor that emerges only around those he trusts. Throughout the story, he carries profound grief while slowly rediscovering hope through the people who refuse to give up on him. The actor should excel at subtle emotional storytelling—communicating entire conversations through small smiles, lingering glances, and moments of silence—while remaining believable in both lighthearted, awkward teenage scenes and devastating emotional drama.
Nothing. I'm going to do nothing.
(Panicked) It's just Charlie all over again!! I-I can't do this, Bianca!!
(Flat but slightly intrigued) Why do you call me that? I've never even seen the sun.
Lilith carries herself with quiet control. She rarely raises her voice, but when she speaks, it’s intentional and heavy with meaning. She is deeply emotional beneath the surface, but struggles to let it show until she can’t hold it in anymore.
Call me sweetheart again and I'll tear your spine out.
(A bit more chipper) I vote we kill him!
He was? Dammit, now I really wanna kill him!
Bianca is emotionally expressive and deeply reactive. Unlike Lilith, she doesn’t hold everything in—her feelings often come through in real time. She can be warm, intense, or overwhelmed depending on the situation, and her voice carries strong emotional immediacy.
(playful) You're gayer than me, batbrain.
(serious) We shouldn't discuss this right now...Luci just woke up.
(normal) We kidnapped you.
Caspian is soft-spoken and anxious, often overthinking what he says before he says it. He tends to doubt himself and gets overwhelmed in emotionally intense situations, but he cares deeply about the people around him. His emotions are close to the surface, even when he tries to hide them.
(do I even need to explain this) YOU KIDNAPPED SOMEONE?!
(defensive but not unkind) I think Luci did the right thing!
(playful) You're our defense.
Matt is a high-energy, comedic, and slightly chaotic character who uses humor and teasing to navigate emotional situations. He often flirts, jokes, or deflects seriousness with humor, but underneath the comedy is someone who actually feels things deeply—he just avoids showing it directly.
(flirtatious) Damn, no one told me Vamps could be hot.
(trying to hide disappointment) Did they really not want me back?
(frustrated) Why are you doing this?!
Raven is the quiet heart of the Nightshade family. Having lived through over a century of the bitter, bloody feud between the Vampires and the Wolves, she has grown entirely exhausted by the cycle of violence. While her brother Obsidian meets the world with aggressive protection, Raven navigates it with deep empathy and observation. She is a pacifist not out of fear, but out of a profound love for life and family.
(Pleading but determined) Is this really what we want? An endless cycle of hatred and malevolence?
(Playful) I didn't know Luci had a boyfriend.
(Serious) This is a hard decision, but it's a matter of who we want to protect.
Obsidian shares the heavy, crushing burden of leadership with Lilith. He is a warrior driven by a single, hyper-focused goal: keep his sister Raven alive. After Raven was recently jumped by Wolves, Obsidian’s world fractured. He feels he completely failed his ultimate duty as a protector. Driven by pure protective panic, he tightens his grip on his feeling of duty, charging forward into the conflict with aggressive defense. His tragic flaw is his blind spot—he is so busy shielding Raven from physical Wolves that he fails to see the peaceful, mythic transformation happening in her heart.
(Stern but afraid) If I hadn't stopped you guys you would've killed that Wolf!!
(Somber) I love the guy, but keeping him here could put him in danger.
No one deserves to die!
Violet is is controlled, intense, and quietly angry. They rarely raise their voice, but their words carry sharp emotional weight. Unlike more reactive characters, Violet holds everything in until it becomes impossible to ignore, at which point their intensity becomes very focused and direct. Antagonist, but not lead.
(confused) Cas? Lily? What are you two doing here?
(Nonchalant) We jumped some Wolf that was in the pack that jumped Rae.
(Grumble) He frickin' deserved it.
Kieran is emotionally intense and reactive, often expressing frustration or anger openly rather than holding it in. He can be loud and impulsive when upset, but his reactions come from strong emotional investment rather than cruelty. Underneath the intensity, he cares deeply but struggles to regulate how he shows it.
(Huffing) Tell that to Raven.
(nonchalant) Their name was Everest, I think.
(Anger) Traitors!!
Gil is confident, sarcastic, and thrives on getting a reaction out of people. He enjoys teasing and pushing others' buttons, often masking his true intentions behind jokes and mockery. His only appearances are in the first and second to last episodes.
Well, well, well, boys. Looks like we found a little Vamp fam.
(Cocky but hiding fear) Now, there's no need to get violent.
(Sarcastic) Whoops, did we stumble into your land?
Marie is an intimidating and powerful presence who commands respect the moment she enters a room. She is sharp, confident, and rarely loses her composure. Unlike Gil, who enjoys mocking people for fun, Marie doesn't tease for entertainment—she uses her words to establish control and remind others exactly where they stand. Antagonist in second episode.
Suck it, Vamp!
(Quietly but confident) Sic 'em.
(Frustrated) Find the brats!

Charlie is sunshine in human form. He's endlessly compassionate, quick to smile, and possesses an almost frustrating belief that every life has value—even those the rest of the world calls monsters. Curious, intelligent, and deeply empathetic, he approaches people with kindness first and judgment never. His warmth is effortless; affection comes naturally to him, whether through hugs, teasing nicknames, or thoughtful gifts. Beneath his optimism, however, is remarkable courage. Charlie is willing to stand between danger and a stranger without hesitation, making him the emotional heart of Lucian's past. The actor should be able to balance playful humor, gentle romance, and heartbreaking sincerity, creating a character whose absence continues to shape the story nearly a century later.
(Warmly) Hello, sunshine.
(Disapproving) I don't think murder is very heroic.
(Hoarse but trying to be comforting) You'll be okay.
