Project Overview

Fangs is an indie animated supernatural drama following a group of teenagers and young adults whose lives are in a hidden world of vampires, werewolves, witches, and other creatures living in secret among humans. As old conflicts resurface and long-buried secrets come to light, the group must navigate friendship, family, identity, grief, and the consequences of choices that refuse to stay in the past as a war starts to develop.

While the series explores supernatural mysteries and action, its heart lies in its characters. Each member of the cast carries their own fears, hopes, and emotional scars, creating a story that balances humor, heartfelt relationships, and high-stakes drama.

This project is a passion project currently in development, and animators and actors of all experience levels are welcome to audition. Whether you're an experienced voice actor or just starting out, don't be afraid to give it a shot! I'm looking for performers and animators who can bring genuine emotion and personality to these characters. (Warning: This show is incredibly gay)

What I'm looking for:

  • Clear, understandable audio (professional equipment is not required)

  • Enthusiasm for character-driven storytelling

    So if some of you guys were expecting to get paid, I really really wanted to be able to pay you all. But I've been thinking and I don't think paying you guys would be a realistic goal. This is, as said before, a passion project, and I can't pay you unless in the case we go absolutely incredibly viral like, for example, The Amazing Digital Circus. I'm sorry if some of you guys feel like I castfished you (haha get it? Cast-fished) but I never had that intention. I really want this to take off but that chance is slim. That doesn't mean we won't have fun doing it though! So if you get cast please know this willost likely be free. This is something I'm really sad about and has kept me up at night, so I'm sorry. Love you, freaks and frogs, again your patience is amazing me.

    Hello my freaks and frogs! I am SO SO SO sorry that I haven't been active lately. I've had a lot of personal issues come up and I haven't had time to work on this. But i promise I am NOT bailing on you guys. Callbacks were supposed to start this week, but due to, again, personal issues that I don't feel comfortable talking about, callbacks will start in the next two to three weeks. The actor should excel at subtle emotional storytelling—communicating entire conversations through small smiles, lingering glances, and moments of silence—while remaining believable in both lighthearted, awkward teenage scenes and devastating emotional drama.

Obsidian shares the heavy, crushing burden of leadership with Lilith. He is a warrior driven by a single, hyper-focused goal: keep his sister Raven alive. After Raven was recently jumped by Wolves, Obsidian’s world fractured. He feels he completely failed his ultimate duty as a protector. Driven by pure protective panic, he tightens his grip on his feeling of duty, charging forward into the conflict with aggressive defense. His tragic flaw is his blind spot—he is so busy shielding Raven from physical Wolves that he fails to see the peaceful, mythic transformation happening in her heart.
