~FAN-DUB SHORTS~
This fandub will be the pilot to this new series of shorts, featuring The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya Episode 1's prolog. kyon's monolog and Haruhi's intro.

This Fandub will be two minutes and thirty seconds long, starting at the beginning of episode 1 and ending before the opening credits.

Why audditon for this project? You will get experiance with voice over and share laughs with the crew. You might even make a friend or two! What I expect from you.
If you are going to audition for this project please present yourself clearly. Speak with confidence and show emotion in every single word you speak.

I'll be filling in for Tomoguchi's few words after Haruhi introduces herself. Once the deadline hits, I'll be picking my talent and sending out your script. If you fail to reply in two days you will be replaced.

IF at all possible I'd like to do all recording live on skype to give feedback during recording. However I understand that this would be hard as people live in different time zones so i'll be a little flexable. I'll be in contact with the winning talents about skype info and timezone stuff.

Haruhi - Supporting roll in this short
Voice prefered - Young adult female
Haruhi is very spontaneous, upbeat, and hyperactive. Her determination, persistence, and resourcefulness drive her endeavors so when you deliver your lines be sure to be energetic!
The audition lines will be different than what will be in the episode, but will still be lines your charicter spoke during the show. I want to know your range.
[Shocked/a bit angry - In reply to a question asked by kyon] And just what gives you the right to ask me a question like that? I don't know about anything you've heard. Whatever. You wanna believe it? It's probably true.
[Excited] Oh, yeah. Good thinking. Okay, Kyon, you guys take care of it. Go find the enemy leader and give him a good pummeling with your cannons! And make sure you win! I want you to take those fools from the Computer Club… AND BEAT THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS OUT OF THOSE GEEK BOYS!

Kyon is quite cynical; believing that people are motivated by self-interest but a down to earth and laid back guy once you get to know him. Your lines should represent a down to earth guy but also have meaning behind your words.
