Thanks to everyone for auditioning! The deadline finally hit, and I've decided to cast every role I believed I could. For there characters that don't yet have a voice, however, I will be extending the deadline for two extra weeks.

One week!
Hey everyone, thanks for the auditions so far! You've already made my life really difficult, haha. I just wanted to let everyone know that I'll likely be doing the first round of casting in one week, at the halfway point. Movement on this project has been a lot quicker than I expected, and I thought I needed more time to prepare than I actually do. As such, some casting will be on the 28th of February. This will only be for a few characters, for various reasons.
Enoch is an extremely cold and condescending individual, completely unaffected by the countless deaths of his own workers in his Zone. He is also rather arrogant, as he seems to love the metaphor referring to the Guardians as being comparative to "Gods". He doesn't consider any strengths that the Batter may have, showing that he truly believes that he is invincible as well as a higher power in comparison to everyone else.
(Confused) "Purify? But that's ridiculous! Nothing justifies this drastic measurement!"
(Explaining) "My name is Enoch, guardian of zone 3. My role consists, like the one of the other guardians', of forming the energy sent by the Queen Mother to a solid context."
(Angered) "I'll eat your hopes for survival like a block of sugar...with delight!
Near the end of the game, during the Batter's confrontation with the Queen, there is a nameless, faceless character narrating the conversation between them. As there are also lines throughout the game that could be considered coming from the narrator, I've decided to make it a role people can audition for.
"Purification in progress...""Adversaries purified."
"The switch is now on OFF.""Continually withstanding the attacks that the Batter had brought into the monotonous dialogue between them, the Queen called a spade..."
"This response eradicated the patience of the Queen..."
The Batter, the playable character in OFF, is a very stoic man. He is determined to purify the zones of the world and will let no obstacle stand in his way. Although he is sentient and aware that he is a puppet being controlled by a person playing a game, he appears to think and feel independently - but he hardly ever shares his emotions or opinions.
"Show yourselves, corrupted children! I'm the voice of forgiveness that'll eliminate your calmituous forms. ...Prepare yourselves to suffer my judgement."
"I'm the Batter. I've been assigned to a sacred mission."
"Your guardians have fallen. You're now the Queen of a kingdom that no longer exists."
The Judge is a seemingly almost omniscient being, having a quiz-master-like character. He does not seem to take much interest in the Batter's mission until the end of the game, and he appears far more focused on his own amusement. In conversation with The Batter, The Judge will often present a riddle in place of a response. Much like Zacharie, The Judge addresses The Player directly and usually refers to The Batter as merely The Player's "puppet".
(Explaining) There cannot be any other living beings in zone 0, so I must assume that you are only a mere figment of my imagination. Nevertheless, I will introduce myself. I am the Judge, and I am aching to know your name, dear elusory interlocutor.
(Solemn) "Hence nothing remains
except for our regrets.""Stop with these paranoid delusions, dear brother! Come with me to zone 0. I have built a cellar where we can forget our sorrows..."
Zacharie has a tendency to frequently break the fourth wall, even more than The Judge, often referring to The Player directly upon speaking to them. Zacharie seems to be optimistic, as he laughs when you talk to him. It can easily be seen that he is very greedy, before the death of Valerie, as he only seems to desire the Player's credits. After Valerie's death, he changes his mask to cheer The Judge up; which potentially shows him as a caring character.
(Explaining) I'm Zacharie, the traditional items merchant that's necessary in every video game. I'll always find myself in places you're going to visit before you arrive. But enough blether. I'm not one of those protagonists you need to listen to for hours. So, lemme see the color of your credits.
(Overly cheerful) Good day, dear reckless accomplice! I've somewhat changed, anatomically speaking...But you have obviously recognized me at first glance! I'm your friend, the Judge!
(Reminiscent) "Alas, the time has come for you to spend the golden fruits of your carnage."
(Nervous, timid) "I... I... Uh...You had better go complete your work in the smoke mines..."
(Terrified, in panic) "Aaaah! I can not get through this wall! The ghosts will eat me!"
(Afraid, but angered) "No...No...The...The sugar...Do-...Don't touch the sugar...Sho...Shove...Shove off, spectres! Get out!! Get out!!"
Dedan has no patience for ineptitude and has a terrible demeanour. He is not only disdainful, but vicious towards the Elsen in his Zone for their inability to handle spectres on their own. Dedan acts similarly towards The Batter, even after The Batter helped Elsen by purifying the spectres, and he remains in a foul mood until his death.
"Why does he think he's capable of destroying those stupid phantoms? He thinks he's better than you! Better than the Queen!"
(Irritated) "I command you. Get the fuck out of my way this instant, if you want to keep your job."
(Bewildered) "What part of "I'm gonna kill you" didn't you understand? ... You're insane."
Valerie is a mysterious character that little is known about, other than small comments from the Judge, during Zone 2. When Valerie is shown in the game, he is actually being controlled by Japhet. As such, nothing is known about his personality or backstory.
(Angered) Poor cretins! I am here, right in front of you, ready to send you to hell!
(Dismissive) Valerie? That...is the name of the cat. You are mistaking me for someone else.
(Taken aback) The...the Judge?... No. No, I am not. My name is Japhet. I am the creator of this city.
Although intelligent, strong, and ambitious, by the time of the game's events within the OFF world he has grown emotionally distraught and torn about how things in his Zone has deteriorated. Though trying to maintain his grip over the various Elsen he rules over, he anticipates his own death due to his failure. He is ultimately confronted about the corruptions that have taken place by the Batter and the Player before being killed.
I imagine Japhet with a mid tone voice, that is fairly calm and collected.
"You do not understand, do you? I am not Valerie, I am Japhet! I have taken control of your miserable little brother. Unable to even chew through a little bird, until the end."
"I am the millennial fire bird. Let the battle begin."
Sugar is the secret boss of Zone 0, and a minor character in OFF that we know little about. Sugar's identity is kept mysterious, as she doesn't want to "lose any time to useless introductions." It is possible she may have been hiding in the basement from the terror that's claimed the Purified Zones. She appears to be relatively crazy, constantly laughing and using emoticons in her speech.
"Let's not lose
any time
to pointless introductions.
Let's dance, my dear friend."(Happy go lucky, rambling) "Think of something beautiful really hard, and maybe you will see it tomorrow. Like a beautiful day, for example."
(In pain, disappointed) "I'm feeling way too cold...I didn't like that dance at all..."
Hugo is the son of the Batter and the Queen, though he is also known to be their creator. Hugo frequently coughs, and seems to be sickly and unwell. His age is not revealed at any point during the course of the game, although he appears to be a very young child. Not much else is known about him, as the main segment in which he appears, The Room, is likely symbolic, and up to interpretation.
"The... The bird... He left too..."
"Hello, mama. Papa left. I don't like him anyways. I hope you'll be back soon. "
