A twelve year old Irish boy with intellect well beyond his years. His personality is far from shy, and tends to always find himself in the highest position of power in the room, no matter what situation. His childlike beliefs and adult determination of exploitation lead Fowl in his life of crime, towards the idea of steal a fairy’s gold. He is always one step ahead and is quick to suppress any emotion other than cold and calculating, or amused, however he does have an affection towards his mother despite his efforts to act as if he doesn’t and despite how he holds himself, on occasion he does exhibit traits of a normal kid.

Butler is a strong and multi talented man with a big heart, his loyalty easily lies with Artemis Fowl and he often guides the boy as a father figure rather than simply a bodyguard. He often goes along with his charge’s schemes as he believes Artemis’ intelligence has never proven to be wrong so far. His dedication and his determination is also shown in how he cares for his sister and the wellbeing of Fowl Manor.

The first female elf in Recon, she is a headstrong and brazen young female. She is determined to prove herself to everyone and loathes being underestimated, along with her warrior like stance, her incredible skill, she also has a big heart that tends to lean towards her love of Ireland, nature and animals. Instead of play a damsel in distress role, she is constantly in motion and constantly problem solving no matter what the situation.

A paranoid but highly intellectual centaur filled to the brim with sarcasm.He is the head of his department and has practically built the foundations of fairy technology from the ground up. At least, that is the case in the precinct. He is quite snarky and tends to banter frequently with officers, though oftentimes it is hard for him to draw the line completely. He is very defensive about his work, but all the same very proud of his accomplishments and can respect those with the same capacity for cleverness as he.
