Fallout: The Fens Sheriff's Department Re-cast unfilled roles
Project Overview
This is a relist for roles the original VAs could not fulfill.
Voice lines would be due Mid-October. Please do not audition unless you can meet this deadline. This project cannot suffer another major setback. You must be reliable, I must be able to count on you.
***You are in luck! Voice actors do NOT have to send me individually named files for each lines. I will do that work. I work best when each sit-down session at the mic is recorded into a single mono wav file. Specific directions will be given to those who are selected for roles. Please follow them.***
The Fens Sheriff's Department is the sequel to the quest mod "The Bleachers: A Diamond City Story", winner of Nexusmods Oct 2019 mod of the month for Fallout 4 and something my mother keeps saying is "very nice dear".
"The Fens Sheriff's Department" is a DLC sized quest mod that weaves seamlessly (better than most at least) into the current Fallout 4 world and setting, bringing new stories, factions, locations, and NPCs to the player. Unlike many other mods and games, The Fens Sheriff's Department is more along the lines of an interactive story. The player is no longer the star of the show. They cannot assume command and steer the course of history two weeks after showing up. They are instead a witness and participant in events that are bigger and more important than they are.
It is a DLC sized quest mod for Fallout 4. It fills out the unused space on top of the eastern wall on the outside of Diamond City, expanding on The Bleachers to encompass virtually the entire east wall. This will be, to put it mildly, an overhaul of the guards outside of Diamond City. New guard classes with their own armors (sniper, scout, scavver, enlisted, and DC internal), new voiced NPCs, a new full-fledged companion with over 4500 lines of dialogue (part already filled, sorry), old friends, new NPCs, new internal cells, new quests totalling >25h of new gameplay, radiant occupation quests, a lot of very extended dialogue scenes the mod author is known for, and 3 new story lines that start with and are driven by the occurrences that happen in "The Bleachers: A Diamond City Story": A companion specific quest story, a Fens Sheriff's Department quest story, and a story that leaves Diamond City as the last faction left standing in The Commonwealth - the so called "Diamond City Wins" ending.
You can have more than one minor role, so flex those false voice muscles. Feel free to apply for as many roles as you like.
Successful voice actors will have a decent microphone setup with a pop-filter and a means to reduce reverb - be it recording in a sound baffled room, on your bed under the sheets, in a full cost closet, or a pillow fort.

The Sheriff is one of the leads of this story named after her department. She has many scenes in this story, some formal, some casual, and some with high emotion. The part is large, but there is a lot of extended recordable scene material for an aspiring voice actress to put in her portfolio. She has a rich history that will be shared with anyone who asks, so please do so if you think it would help with your audition
The Sheriff is no-nonsense, very intimidating, and has a sense of humor that is drier than a desert but very, very hard to spot. She is a military super-lifer: born and raised by the Brotherhood of Steel to be one of their finest officers. However, she went AWOL with her squad. She is most often talking in a confident, stern, or irritated demeanor. She knows what it takes to be safe in her world - merciless, overwhelming, and exemplary violence on those who would hurt you or your loved ones until they can harm you no more. She is famous for taking few, if any, prisoners. She is socially defective, and could not show close emotional ties if her life depended on it. Despite this, she is well-loved by the citizens of Diamond City, who give a wink and nod to her methods - given they are the prime beneficiaries of it.
The Sheriff has a significant amount of lines compared to the other open roles in this story. VA should be prepared for almost 1300 lines, possibly more.
I am looking for a female with a mature and low voice. The type of person that never smiles, is either constantly irritated or wants you to think she's irritated, and has a desert dry flat deadpan joke delivery ability. I will most likely not wait for this listing to expire to fill this role and send the lines to a good voice actor. The old VA dropped out and I need this role filled quickly.
The Gunner blood we spill will wash away the shame of the Minutemen and they will never threaten our friends again. No prisoners. No survivors.
I'm always serious.
Remember Fiddle. Remember Oakes' daughter. Remember your friends they've taken from you. These are Gunners. You know what to do.

Sora is an ex-Diamond City guard who lost her job after sticking up for herself. She moved with her siblings to Concord to open the first 'shopping center' since the war. Basically food, clothes, and booze under one roof. Concord was overrun by Raiders not long after, so they moved to a new building on the other side of the city.
She, and her two siblings, are now co-owners of 'The Manhattan Project', an ex-office building converted and cleaned up to house their respective business endeavors. The Manhattan Project is a fashion clothing store on the bottom floor and a live musical act bar on the second floor. Note, this place is not a strip club.
Sora is a confident woman who is a bit over-protective of her siblings and as the oldest sibling, the unofficial head. She doesn't take shit, and has no patience for troublemakers in her establishment.
I heard Charlie at the Third Rail has a special algorithm it uses specifically to water down drinks just enough you can't taste it.
I had a Ghoul in here the other week. She was trying on some new clothes. She asked me how she looked in them. How the hell do you answer that? What the hell are you supposed to say to that? There's no right answer here.
Me? I was a guard until I broke Danny Sullivan's nose for putting his hand on my ass and giving his opinion of it.

This is for a female with a rough voice. Very tough and seasoned wastelander.
Sergeant Squinty is a bad-guy with the Gunners and destined to die as the story unfolds. When the player meets her, she is part of an ambush team, and sports extensive facial scarring - having taken a flame thrower to the face the year previous. Her vision is failing, her her attitude is as nasty as ever. This role has comedy potential.
Knight Garcia is the enforcer for Senior Scribe Williams. She only has a few lines, so the role has been folded into this one.
Sylvia is a scavver who has called The Sheriff for assistance with an undercover synth operative. She is not happy about it, but she is determined to end the synth threat.
I need a rough and tumble female voice. Consider auditioning for female Raider roles as well, as you can win more than one minor role.
Admit it. I didn't like your shitty guacamole and you'll never get over it.
Too bad for you the Brotherhood doesn't take runts.
NO!!! GOD DAMN IT!! IT'S WELDED SHUT!!! COLONEL!! COLONEL!! CAN YOU READ ME??!! FUCK!! COME IN COLONEL!!!

Monique Dunmore is wife to Brett Dunmore. Like Brett, she has had a previous run-in with The Sheriff and was among only a few to make it out alive. She is no fan of The Gunner or The Sheriff, and she would just as soon see everyone in both organizations dead. She has information vital to the player.
Captain Kinnaird is a Gunner with literally one line - radioing for help. I have folded that role into this one to avoid a one-line listing.
Staples is an aggrieved Raider Boss with a few lines during one scene. She has a tough voice from living a hard and brutal life. She is afraid and angry when the scene occurs.
We know those colors and that fuckin' butcher you work for all too well. Now start leavin' or start dyin'.
Brett Henry Dunmore the Third, listen to me, you idiot!! We have Gunners incoming!
And your crew... did I hear something about a chainsaw? What kind of an animal uses a chainsaw on someone?
Most of the roles are listed above, but it's possible you might not know which is the best for you to apply to.
Leave your audition here and I'll contact you if you're a good fit.
That's the point. You're about out of chances, "Deputy"... Hope you made your peace.
Are you happy now asshole? We're talkin' Gunners here, if you don't kill them all, they'll be comin' for you AND me.
If you make whole what you robbed from us in your desertion and surrender the Knight Sergeant, Maxson will consider the case closed.
