Fallout Equestria: Behind the Scenes

Fallout Equestria: Behind the Scenes

Project Overview

I’m casting for a vector art (and partially animated) series that works on the premise of “What if Fallout Equestria was a ‘live action’ TV series being filmed in the MLP universe. This comedy series would follow the cast and crew as they film the series.

A college student who auditioned for the role of Littlepip as a joke with her friends but her life was thrown out of order when she actually got the role. She assumed she’d never get the role of the short, plain Littlepip as Bell herself is tall with a bright mane that she has dyed green.

Now, because she can't believe her luck, she feels the need to be overly enthusiastic and throw herself into the role, doing take after take, offering "constructive" suggestion after suggestion, not because she really wants to, but because she feels this is a once in a lifetime opportunity and such gusto is expected. But really the rest of the cast and crew finds it a little grating. Almost as annoying as having to perform in front of a green screen or stand in a ditch so that she seems as short as the character to the camera, or having to wear layers of makeup and an itchy suit to hide her body.

  • BELL

(as herself, her voice is nervous, uncertain)

Do I just? Over here? Oh, okay. Should I start from, what's that? Oh, there's a marked line. Okay.

(reading as Littlepip, with her best impersonation of an American accent)

It's my fault that Velvet left the Stable!

    Celestia's anal warts!

    Shut up Velvet!

    (as herself)

Is that really it? That all you need? Oh, alright then. So you're really making a Fallout Equestria series? Sorry? Pardon? Oh, it's Bell, my name is Bell.

The former star of the children’s series “All my fwiends” Crystal Clear was known for playing the lead role as the mischievous, pigtailed scamp Baby Schnookums. All throughout her career, Crystal has been unable to shed the type casting of playing adorable characters for children’s series and now seeks to break the typecasting by playing the role of Velvet Remedy. However, unlike Velvet, Crystal is a loud, punk rock styled mare with serious mommy issues.

  • My name is Crystal Clear, and I’m auditioning for the role of Velvet Remedy.

  • Oh hi Bell, I WOAH! DAMN you’re hot out of costume. We should hang out, well, pretty much all the time. Y’know to rehearse... and other things.

  • That’s it, if one more pony asks me to “do the line” or “make the face” from “all my fwiends” I’m gonna do bad things to their emotions. I won’t go into it any further than that.

An established movie actor with a well known name and a list of action movies under his belt, Star Power was brought onto the Fallout Equestria project to play Calamity as a way of drawing in new audiences. He can be quite difficult to deal with as his success has made him more than a little arrogant.

He's more than aware of how vital he is to this newly formed project and so isn't shy about saying exactly what's on his mind.

  • I don’t need this. I’ll be in my trailer— there’s an expensive designer

Ice cream that’s begging to be inside me.

  • Well I’ve warned you what happens when

You work with an amatuer cast.
