Project Overview
ABOUT FALLEN STARS
Fallen Stars is a lore-based Minecraft SMP that's existed for a few years now, but needs talented voice actors (and potentially backstage characters) to continue the story!
REQUIREMENTS for VOICE ACTORS
You must be at least 16 years old to audition and be a part of the project.
By auditioning you are acknowledging that you are at least 16 years old.
You MUST have Discord. Please leave your discord in your audition.
Please be committed. This will be a long-term project.
Deadlines will vary, but at times there will be VERY quick turnarounds. Please be aware of this when auditioning.
You must have a good microphone. No background noise or muffling, please.
WHEN AUDITIONING
Feel free to introduce yourself! It helps us get to know you.
Do multiple takes (2-3 takes) to show off your range! Try to read the line differently each time.
Include your discord user so that we can contact you if you get the part.
REQUIREMENTS for BACKSTAGE CHARACTERS
All of the requirements for Voice Actors apply to Backstage characters, please read the above sections and understand them.
You MUST be able to run Minecraft and Mods because Backstage Characters are not just voices. You will also be expected to play a character on the server.
You will be doing live improv as a character if you are selected.
Include your discord user so we can contact you if you get the part.
NOTE: This project will be updated with more voice roles as the project needs them. Backstage characters are always needed.

Voice Notes: Medium to Low range; looking for a voice that comes across as mature and authoritative, but not necessarily angry.

You traitor..! I gave up everything for you - there is nothing left! So why? Why do you look upon me with that smile? (emotional, experiment!)
A tyrannical King that carved a bloody path to his throne, he is powerful and cruel.
Voice Notes: Medium to Low range; this is a villain so there will be times where you will need to sound terrifying/scary, be arrogant and boastful, and best of all - make the audience want to punch you. This character will need to be taken seriously, so their voice should convey that. A regal/noble cadence is preferred. (this character is a king, he should sound like he's a king)
Also, this character is a vampire, so feel free to try the lines with an accent, but it isn't needed.

If I wanted to know your insignificant thoughts I would ask for them! (sudden rage, spoken quickly but with clear pronunciation on each word)

Fallen Stars can always use background characters!
If you want to be a background character you must have Minecraft and be able to run mods. Live improv will be expected.
Background characters can be any range or tone, with the possibility of getting cast for bigger/more specific roles if we feel you fit the bill.
Feel free to improv the lines and show off your range/skills! Default lines are provided, but that's just for convivence (aka feel free to come up with your own!).
