Project Overview

  • PLEASE KEEP IN MIND: This is a long term project, which will require a lot of commitment and dedication. If you are not prepared to do this please do not audition. This particularly applies to voice actors as once the animators have started working with the voice actors, it will be very difficult to change who is voicing the characters.

  • This project is currently unpaid, however if the show earns money it will be shared fairly between the group. We do have a plan in place to start earning money however it will rely on the advertising team while the pilot is being made

  • Faded is an animated show, it is based in a black and white city, full of skyscrapers, and focuses on 5 very brightly coloured graffiti artists. We have already hired some people, but are looking for more!

  • TW: the show will include minor gore, so please keep this in mind when auditioning.

  • A UK timezone would be preferred but other timezones are accepted.

  • IMPORTANT:Communication for the project will be done via discord, so if you have auditioned please join the discord (link below).   • I would just like to clarify, none of the art is done by me, all the drawings displayed here have been a collaboration between our fantastic arts team!

Character Designer Responsibilities:

- Conceptualizing and developing characters, props, and or accessories.

- Creating sketches, technical character turnarounds, and model sheets detailing the function and poupous of various elements.

- Collaborating with writers, animators, and the director to understand and develop character roles and relationships.

- Modifying or updating character designs based on feedback from team members.

- Ensuring that the character designs adhere to the defined visual style of the project.
