Fade Away - A Sims 3 Voiceover

Fade Away - A Sims 3 Voiceover

Project Overview

Juniper Woods was Bridgeport's favorite celebrity. She had it all. A loving fan base, a hot piece of man candy, and practically any modeling gig she wanted. People would kill to be in her shoes. So how, she wonders, did she manage to wind up here? Bridgeport Woman's Correctional Facility, a prison that leaves much to be desired. She's traded her designer dresses for an itchy jumpsuit, and her trademark heels for a pair of tennis shoes that were -ahem- "Well Loved".  How will this penthouse princess find her way through a world covered in five layers of grime? And when she does her time for her crimes, will she still be on top of the world?

Hi! I'm Alysha, the woman in charge of Krugera Productions. I'm so glad you've taken the time to look into my casting call! I can't even express how excited I am to finally start production on this machima. It's been in the works for about a month now, and It's time to start casting.

With introductions out of the way, I'd like to go over a few formalities before we start the process. I know these are the most boring part of creating a series, but they are important, so I do ask you read them over thoroughly and don't take this commitment lightly.

  1. 1. Please have lines in to me before the deadline. When I've worked on other series in the past, there was almost always one voice actor that would take an extra week to send me their lines. This is incredibly frustrating, as it hold up the whole production. Please don't let this be you!

  2. 2. Be willing to communicate through email. I understand that Casting Call Club has a service for exchanging information, but It's so much more efficient to communicate through email. I understand if this is not your preferred way of turning lines in, but please be understanding that this is how Krugera Production would like to do things.

  3. 3. Make an effort to provide the best quality you can. While this is just a hobby project, I'd still like to keep it at a semi-professional quality. This means good quality microphones, and voice actors that will provide lines with emotion just like an actor would.

  4. 4. Be aware of the commitment you're making. This series could go on for a while. Please be aware of that when you're auditioning. It's terribly frustrating to have to replace actors half way through the season.

As long as you keep those four rules in mind, feel free to audition for as many parts as you'd like. I appreciate actors that take the time to provide me with multiple takes of each line as well.

Thank you again for considering being a part of the cast. I hope to hear from you soon.

-Alysha

Voice Actor
Warden James Pickens

Unpaid

Warden Pickens loves his job. He's a major control freak, and he isn't afraid of letting it show. He doesn't often associate with the inmates, but when he does, he makes it clear who's in charge. He's also very hot headed and has a tendancy to blow up over the smallest things.

  • I asked one thing of you, Franken! And you couldn't do it. I should suspend you. Hell, I should fire your ass. But here you sit.

  • They aren't woman, they are inmates. Unless we have visitors, then they are woman.

Correctional Officer Jade Franken

Jade went into law enforcement to change the world. She never wanted to become the evil cop that people dread running into. She wanted to be the person they looked to for protection. So she doesn't stand for being mean to the inmates. She calls them by their names, and she's especially nice to them. She has a hard time standing up to the warden sometimes, but when she does, she really puts him in his place.

  • I get it, this place looks scary. But trust me, give it a week or so, you'll fall right into place.

  • God, Johnson! They're people! Not animals!

  • I won't disregard my morals. Not for any amount of money.

Correctional Officer Andrew Johnson

Andrew takes much joy in bossing the inmates around. He was the youngest in a family of seven boys, so he never got to be in charge. But he does his job well. The inmates often refer to him as the "Bad Cop". He also has a huge crush on his fellow C.O., Jade. Her rejection only seems to make his feelings stronger... Hopefully the warden doesn't notice what a distraction she's becoming to his right hand man...

  • Back in line, inmate. Wait your turn unless you want to starve.

  • I don't want to hear your voice again. Shut up, or it'll be solitary for you, inmate.

  • I have to say, your sudden spurts of confidence are... really a turn on...

Nikki has always been this way. She's the solid definition of rebellion. She loves being crazy and unpredictable. Nikki loves her life, and treats the prison like her own person game board. She's often referred to as crazy, which she has admired might be true.

Nikki is a wild one. Go crazy with her voice. Give me something totally unique.

  • Good god, you're a tightwad. Loosen up a little. This is rock bottom, might as well enjoy it.

  • Who has matches? DAMN! Which one of you pansies is holding out on me?!

  • I'm the kind of person that buys a hundred dollar bottle of whiskey just to pour it down the drain. I live to say I've done stuff, Princess.

Mazy has to be Juniper's favorite person in the prison. She's the oldest prisoner, and nobody really knows what she did to earn her place. But the giant burn on her face tells some unspoken stories. Juniper goes to her whenever she has a problem or just isn't feeling right, and Mazy gets her right back in place. She's a real gem.

  • This isn't home, so don't get too comfortable. That's a mistake that will make your life here a whole lot tougher.

  • Everybody here has a few screws loose. Don't feel bad, Honey.

  • He's going to tell you you aren't a human being, but you are. Don't listen to him. Listen to yourself, Juno. Be strong, damn it.

Evie is a hot headed Latina. She hates the prision, and she isn't afraid to make that known. She has more confidence than she knows what to do with, and she often finds herself talking back to the C.O.'s. But she often gets away with it, as she's a personal favorite of C.O. Johnson.
Evie occasionally throws a Spanish word into her dialogue. She also has a Spanish accent.

  • Hey! Back off, Pendejo! That's mine!

  • God, the things I wouldn't do for a smoke right now.

  • I bet you he has a dick shorter than my temper.

Inmate Bree

Bree ends up being one of Juniper's closest friends. She seems to be the comedic relief in the prison. She's known for making everybody laugh, sometimes on purpose, sometimes not.

  • I'm so sick of this prison slop. Can we get some McDonalds up in here?

  • If I had a man as hot as yours, girl, I'd be climbing that barbed wire fence right now.

  • If I have to see a Friends rerun again, I'll put myself in solitary.
