*EXPERIMENT* Assassin Party - Chapter One

*EXPERIMENT* Assassin Party - Chapter One

Project Overview

THIS IS JUST AN EXPERIMENT!

A test run, really. I just want to see how this story I'm doing will sound, and seeing if anyone is interested. I don't have high hopes, but oh well.

The Story

Assassin Party follows three expert killers-for-hire. They are all invited to Ville Rouge Resort along with other assassins in order to 'celebrate their skill and expertise in the field', but as it would turn out they are trapped in the resort for seven days, being given targets to assassinate, their targets sometimes being other assassins. Should they fail, they will be terminated, until only one assassin remains. There will be betrayal, murder, robots, romance, police, ninjas, explosions, pasta and drama. Not to say this is a drama-focused story, more a dramatic black comedy. So yeah, that's the full tale (If I decide to do it)

REQUIREMENTS: Just the basics. Any mic and your beautiful voices.

This will only be an audio thing of the first chapter (I guess) of my tale, and if it goes well then I might do a casting call for the entire thing. WHO KNOWS!!!

Okay, auditions are down yonder.

EDIT: Oh yeah, if this does well and I decide to do the full story, and if this excerpts voice actors want to, then they can reprise their roles in the real deal. You know, if they want.

EDIT2: Just a quick note, but don't expect this story to be particularly good. Lower your standards to ground floor, then lower them some more. IT PROBABLY WON'T BE GOOD. Okay, that's all the self-deprecation out of the way, continue on to the auditions.

EDIT3: Don't feel like you can only audition for one part. Go for more, if you really want to.

Latest Updates

  • UPDATE: POST MORTEM

Roles have been chosen. Now, all you lovely people who were picked, all you have to do is wait a few days. I'll send y'all a script in no time! (No time is equal to a few days)

To everyone else, sorry you didn't get the part. But hey, good luck on your other endeavours!

  • UPDATE: FINALE

The deadline's coming up, nearly time for the

main attraction! Every role has been auditioned, from our three musketeers to the

antagonist, and I'm going through them now. The script

is actually not done yet as I originally typed up Assassin Party as a story, so I'll need to cut it up. Worry

not, I'll get it done right quick.

who knows, if this goes real well then perhaps all of

you could reprise your roles for the rest of the tale! I

think I might, but if I do then

it will not be ready for a while. Still, gives you folks time to chill.

Is several months to a year good enough? Anyway, deadline's coming, may the best voices win!

  • UPDATE: ANOTHER ONE

Let me just clear this up; when I said that three more roles needed to be filled, I meant three need to be auditioned, so that when the deadline comes I can choose the best and go with that. Having said that, the Executioners/Judgement have been auditioned, the Narrator could do with some more auditions, and poor Douglas still has none. What's up with Irish accents? Are they so hard? But anyways, if we hit the deadline and a role is un-auditioned, then it will be extended by a week. This'll keep going until all roles are successfully auditioned for. Okey dokey artichokey, go back to sounding beautiful!

  • UPDATE: THE SEQUEL

Well gosh, almost all roles have spectacular auditions! I didn't expect this, and I'd like to thank you all. Having said that, only three more roles need to be filled; Douglas Connors, Executioners/Judgement, and the Narrator. Sorry Pixalrawtoast and Kelli913, you can't provide your beautiful voices for two parts. So anyway, I'll be cutting the deadline down to Friday the Thirteenth. I figure no bad luck will come of it. Again, thank you all for lending your voices. I really appreciate it.

  • UPDATE

+Added an overview of the whole story in the description

    +Added the Executioner/Judgement role

Executioners + Judgement

Role assigned to: bosspersonfight

The Executioners are robots scattered around Ville Rouge, tasked with executing any murderers they witness in the resort. They were made to make assassinating targets a little more difficult, as if one notices an assassin killing their target then several Executioners in the area will rush to kill them. They should sound jovial and slightly robotic.

Judgement is the Artificial Assassin, an AI programmed to be the greatest killer. Judgement is not it's original name, however it was implanted into one of the Executioner's, and so it took on that name. Judgement should sound much more robotic and devoid of emotion than the Executioners, but still sound like them.

WARNING: The Executioners and Judgement do not speak very much in this first bit of story, so be warned that you will have very little lines. Unless you're into that, in which case disregard.

  • EXECUTIONER: Welcome to the Ville Rouge Resort, sirs! Please, enjoy your stay!

  • JUDGEMENT: Welcome to the Ville Rouge Resort, sirs. Please, enjoy your stay.

Douglas is the Cloak-and-Dagger assassin, hiding in the shadows until it is time to strike. He has a deep voice, though he rarely speaks. Is almost always dead serious, but will joke now and then.

  • What do you want from me? I'm sorry if my story wasn't as interesting as yours.

Role assigned to: flike

Bradley is the Hitman, preferring to take out his targets from a distance with a sniper rifle. He doesn't particularly care what people think of him, and he curses quite often. Has that general who-gives-a-damn attitude.

  • Yeah, tell me about it. She’s probably the youngest assassin I’ve ever fuckin’ met.

Winston is the In-Plain-Sight assassin, disguising as random civillians in order to get close to his targets. He's generally pretty chill and serious, not wasting time with jokes when he's talking to someone.

  • Well, I had a similar experience. It was quite bizarre. We may as well trade stories if we’re going to be here for another hour.

Jaclyn is the Femme-Fatale, seducing her targets before executing them. She is one of the youngest assassins, being only seventeen, and has invited a handful of proffesional killers-for-hire to her resort. But why? She speaks in a very cheerful, sweet voice, always jovial and smiling. Should have a very prominent accent.

  • Why yes! I am the newest member of our blood line, Jaclyn Rouge!

The Narrator

The Narrator tells the tale. Age, gender and accent don't matter, so long as you can narrate a story you'll be just fine.

  • They all sat around a coffee table in the lobby, looking at each other. Three men. One British man with a moustache wearing a professional suit and tie with a bowler hat, one Irish man wearing a large black coat with a larger brimmed hat, and one American man wearing a puffy vest and a beanie.
