AdRi here the co-director and the voice Kibos! And I'm here to tell you that the Étoile Solitaire: A Musical Inspired by Mythology and Astronomy is open for auditions! There are going to be characters and certain type of voices needed for the project! Not only we need voice actors, but a voice actor that can sing!
Étoile Solitaire: A Musical Inspired by Mythology and Astronomy
Overview
Étoile Solitaire is musical that has been in my work for several years now. It is inspired from Greek mythology and astronomy with shades of fiction and fantasy. The prelude describes Vega who has to struggle for survival when his home is destroyed by the war initiated by Rigel, the king of Orion. As the journey of Vega continues, he has some choices made in relation to construction, war and his place in the world.
History and Inspiration
Étoile Solitaire was initially conceptualized in my mind in the first quarter of the year 2019. Some of the story was written in a small pocket notebook and though I was in high school I used to write parts of the story during classes. I’ve always been interested in space and Greek mythology and it was nice to be able to discuss these topics with friends who are ambitious and friendly at the same time.
It was therefore encouraging to take note of the fact that unlike some stars which people associate with mythology, there are many such stars. This made me desire to produce a story that combines both the sparkling mysteries of space and the continuity of the mythological sagas.
Musical Style
Musical’s soundtrack is also very changeable and unites a different kind of genre of music to reflect the mood, personality or a character of a certain scene. The music is from ballads for solos to powerful choral furnish as impressed by Dear Evan Hansen Hamilton and Epic the Musical. It is evident that each song is written to portray characters/feelings, offering a vivid feel to everything.
This is a musical that I have developed myself as a lover of astronomy, mythology, and tales and still undergoes constant development as I try to implement it.
Summary:
In a universe where constellations are manifestations of gigantic star yielding empires, Vega is supposed to be the last king of the Lyra empire. Orion’s tyrant king Rigel continues his campaign of extermination and has now eradicated Lyra from the stars. Lyra, which was once a thriving city, is now but the figment of a dream, and Vega, born into a world of responsibility and with the blood of his people on his hands, has to start anew in the society where he is the ruler without a kingdom.
The plot takes its course as Vega struggles with his grief and looks for a purpose amidst the burning city. The main empires: Canis Major, Orion, and minor fragments from the other palaces; all of them are on the edge of war. When Vega travels through these landscapes he will meet friends with different ambitions, and foes who merely want the opposite.
The course of Vega is full of questions that probe his personality and his determination. Should he try, for instance, to recreate Lyra from the ashes provided that this would cause another war? Which should he aim for? Mercy, especially for Rigel, and move on and leave the thought of revenge behind? Or perhaps there is a third course—beneath perhaps healing not only his shattered empire but the shattered communities of the night?
During his travels Vega learns the real nature of the war and the source of Rigel’s actions, as well as many other characters, who have their own ‘dark wings’. On that journey, one questions also about love, loyalty and a legacy that man like Vega wants to leave to the future society. Will he fit into this world? Or is his only role to shine like a lighthouse blinking in the firmament and being lonely there?

She is the youngest of the Pleiades and is known as the "lost Pleiad," her faint star symbolizing her shame for marrying the mortal Sisyphus instead of a god. Phakta (she/her) is the nickname for Alpha Columbae, the brightest star in the constellation Columba, which represents a dove. Phakta is a charismatic figure known for her expertise in ancient artifacts and relics. While her knowledge and skills in uncovering the secrets of history are unmatched, she has a darker side as a scammer and a thief. (Manipulative) (Hispanic American Accent) (Adult)

Megaera (she/her) is one of the Erinyes who works for Rigel, known for her cruel nature and jealousy. She often becomes consumed by envy, particularly when others receive attention or success she feels she deserves. Megaera is also partnered with Hybris, another figure of arrogance and pride, and together they serve as an unstoppable force, punishing those who commit acts of hubris or injustice. (Arrogant, Selfish, Rude, Sarcastic) (Northeast American Accent/Any American Accent) (Young Adult)

Megaera: “Oh, look at you, trying so hard to fit in with the big stars,” Magaera teased, her tone laced with playful condescension.
Megaera: “What makes you think you’re worth our time?”
(he/him), also known as General Betelgeuse, serves under Rigel but is not particularly known for his intelligence. He gets shouted by Rigel every time he suggested something. While he is fully aware of Rigel's malevolent nature and the dark deeds his master commands, Betelgeuse is too afraid to defy him, knowing that any act of rebellion could lead to his execution. Despite his lack of wit, he remains loyal out of fear, stuck in a role he cannot escape. (Paranoid, Confused) (Any American Accent) (Adult)

King Canis (he/him) is a powerful and proud ruler of the Canis Major constellation, representing the "Greater Dog" in the sky. Known for his strength, loyalty, and fierce protectiveness, King Canis is a figure who commands respect and loyalty from those around him. His presence in the heavens is often associated with Sirius, the brightest star, symbolizing his dominance and regal nature. While loyal to those he cares for, King Canis harbors deep resentment towards Rigel of Orion, seeing him as a rival and a threat to his power. Their conflict is not only a battle for control in the sky but also a clash of pride, as Canis Major stands against the might of Orion. General Sobieski (he/him), also known by the star name UY Scuti, is a towering figure in the service of King Canis. As one of the most powerful and imposing figures in the cosmos, Sobieski commands great respect and strikes fear into the hearts of those who cross his path. His sheer size and strength mirror the massive star he is named after, with an aura of authority that reflects his unwavering loyalty to King Canis. Though he is a formidable warrior and leader, General Sobieski's loyalty to his king is his defining trait, making him both a protector and enforcer under Canis's rule. General Sobieski with a deep menacing voice, after he saw the person's sword ready to be drawn, and he countered the person by drawing his sword first, and put the tip of his sword on the person's chest: "Don't even think about it... Lower your sword if you want to go home to your family... Alive."
(he/him), despite his outward appearance of wealth and power, Alnilam is a cunning and ruthless individual who will stop at nothing to achieve his goals. As Rigel's right-hand man, Alnilam serves as the enforcer of the antagonist's will, carrying out his orders without question or hesitation. He is skilled in combat and strategy, using his intelligence and charm to manipulate those around him to do his bidding.
