(FULL CAST) Espial - A Science Fiction Machinima (Minecraft/Starmade)
Project Overview
There has been a short delay in the project. Cast members have until the end of the month to submit their lines. Auditions for Christian Oliver are still open.
This is my first big project and I hope you all come and audition. It's a Firefly/Star Trek inspired Sci-Fi Series filmed using the game engines for Minecraft and Starmade. Nobody has done something like this before and managed to make it successful and I wanna be the first.
It is the year 5023. An apocalyptic event, covered up by the government, moved the Human race away from Earth. The humans moved to billions of other systems in dozens of different galaxies. Some of the planets in the systems contained life while others didn’t. Some scientists still try their best to figure out the cause of the Apocalyptic event that occured two thousand years earlier. Others learn the history of the other planets in the other systems by mining and searching for lost artifacts that most would find valuable. The show is based on a mining ship called Espial. The crew of the ship explore the galaxies to discover the secrets of the other systems.
Also if you are good at writing music and you want to compose for this series, I'm leaving a small role open for any hopeful composers.

First mate and youngest crew member on the ship. Often talks about how much he desires to be a Captain as well as how much he wants to meet kids his age.
Voice: Youthful and Energetic, but at the same time Mature and Civilized.
Captain, may I please go out and see the sights of this planet?
I've been on this ship for about eight years. Not a day goes by when I can wait for my turn in the Captain's chair. Unfortunately, I must wait until I am eighteen.
You can't keep giving me all the hard jobs, Captain. I am still young. I want to enjoy the last few years of my youth with kids my age.
Ship's doctor and younger brother of Joshua. Gets annoyed when Joshua is teasing him and Amanda.
Voice: Very Fruity and Civilized
Joshua, don't start with us today. We need to figure out what the hell this thing is.
Amanda is my friend. She's like the sibling I never had. Yeah! I know what I said.
The bullet is pretty deep, but I think if I knock you out, the removal will be very painless and easy.
Ship's mercenary and long lost brother of Connor. Playfully mean to Amanda and Connor.
Voice: Gravely
Captain, Amanda found something shiny!
Main Protagonist and Captain of the ship. Often angry when enforcing rules, but cares about his crew and can be very emotional at necessary times. Mourns the loss of his lost love, Beatrice. Tone is very important with this character as his personality is very developed.
Voice: Mid to Low Pitch, Silvery

-When Not Commanding: Kind, Emotional, Intelligent
I really would love to stay and chat, but I actually have something to do that will not waste my time.
I'm the Captain of this ship and dammit I can get rid of whoever the hell I want.
Hey, Timothy. If you want to sneak out a while, go ahead. I just don't want you tellin' anybody else. Got it?
This is the last open role on the project.
Engineer on the ship. Permanetly Crippled fromt the waist down. Uses a cart on tracks to get around the ship. Needs an Artificial heart that must be powered through chargers in the cart and in his bed. Can't ever leave the cart, unfortunately.
Voice: Soft, shy, and sad most of the time, unless he's talking about Science and Technology.
I can't live like this anymore. I want my legs back. I want my heart back. I'll never be able to leave and see anything. [Begins to Cry] You don't know how it feels to not be able to use your legs. I'll never be able to see the universe. I'll just be stuck in this chair for the rest of my short life...
(Conversation with Timothy)
You seem down. (Captain never lets me go out.) Boo hoo. At least you're physically able to go out. Maybe Tom will surprise you. (I doubt it. If you had the ability, I'm sure Captain would let you go out all the time when we're on planets.) Really? I have one of the most important jobs on the ship. If something goes wrong, I must be there to stop it.
We have a small problem with the Jump computer. I'll have to recharge the jump modules and reconnect everything in order for it to work again.
Ship's computer. Voice needs to be clear and emotionless.
Note: This role is optional and is not needed for the project, but I left it open in case you wanted to try it out.

CASTED TO JAMY CATALYST
Unit 82/Beatrice - The Second of the Last Surviving Subjects of the Azura Project; Also lost of her memory and true identity, Beatrice was kidnapped from her parents at age ten and was supposed to have her brain activated to the ability of Unit 64. Before her brain was supposed to be activated, Beatrice managed to escape Unit 64 on the day he went mad. She is found in a Hibernation Pod by Captain Thomas Montoya and his crew on the now destroyed station after sending a distress signal. After being told of what happened, Tom gives her the name Beatrice after his lost love due to a very close resemblance. He keeps her safe on the ship where Amanda and Connor teach her anything she wasn’t yet taught.
Voice: Soft, Shy, Confused, and Scared very often.
Thank you for letting me stay here, Captain. I've never met anybody so kind and nice in the time that I remember.
(Crying) They hurt us! They tortured us! I can't... There is nothing more painful than remembering one thing that requires you to remember other things that you forgot.
Timothy, you're funny. I'm glad to have a friend like you.
Ship's scientist. Very judgemental to others when it comes to science that is "Way too damn complicated." She has known the Harding brothers since they were children. Very friendly towards Connor and annoyed by Joshua.

This piece is extraterrestrial to this planet. I can tell because of it's atomic mass and melting point. It's magnesium which is not very comment on this planet. I'm sorry. I know you find this way too damn complicated.
Dammit, Josh! You can't just go out and bring back a priceless artifact. You need to make sure it's been lost for years.
Connor, you've never been to the outposts of Foroth before. Have you?

Captain of the Espial before Montoya. Killed in action and passed the role of Captain to Montoya before his death. Shown in flashbacks in a few episodes.

YES THIS ROLE IS NOW OPEN! The old actor who was going to play his role cancelled due to personal issues. Now is the chance for all the great voice actors who wanted to be a disturbing antagonist to come forward.
One of the two last Surviving Subjects of the Azura Project; Lost of his memory and his true identity; Given the Ability to Use His Mind to Control Computers and Operating Systems, Unit 64 went insane during an experiment and killed everybody including the Scientists and the Other Test Subjects. His ability granted him immortality and the ability to never age. He uses his ability to Salvage Other Ships and threaten to Torture the crews for obedience. He takes the ships on his Journey to find out his true identity and he will eliminate anything that gets in his way. He is notorious. He is insane. Nothing will stop him.
