On March 31, I am going to be casting the roles that have auditions, and push back the deadline for the roles that aren't filled.

Erivale Chronicles: Casting Call 1 (NEED LEAD VOICE!!!)
Project Overview
So I've finished 2/3 in a book series I'm writing titled The Erivale Chronicles. It's a fantasy series that has some dark moments. I simply want to get a voice cast together and make it into an audio book series for my YouTube channel. It is volunteer as I have no money to spare whatsoever. This is my first project so I'll be new to this. There will be deadlines to meet but no set days for when the episodes go out, so I will be lenient. But I expect you to get your lines in by set deadline. This will be a long project so if you get cast as a lead or supporting, you have to be willing to haul for the long run. Minors will have only one or two chapters. I'll be sure to let you know when a role is done. Feel free to audition for as many roles as you like. If you aren't cast as something, don't be discouraged. There will be other casting calls later on.
Rules:
1) Decent mic quality. Not looking for perfection but the cleaner the better.
2) Be nice. Be mature.
3)Need discord. This is so I can communicate with everyone and you can get your lines to me.
4) Must be okay with blood. There are a few chapters with fairly descriptive scenes of what is happening.
5)Be able to act. Voice acting is still acting so please be able to emote.
6)Be able to read on google docs. This is how I'll share the book with you guys. Don't worry, I'll color code lines.

Jackal is the lead character. He has a voice that's not to special. Just your average teen.... He is still learning how the world actually works, but is thrust into it and doesn't quite know how to respond so he just goes along with things.
(He's just climbed to the top of a temple, and realized he has to climb down. He doesn't like heights)
We have to climb all the way back down don’t we? Hey Kiara! Wait up!
(His father has told him to stay in one place. His sister isn't listening.)
Dad said we need to stay here! This is no time to be a hero!
(After an attacker has been mysteriously burned from touching him, they demand to know how. He honestly has no idea.)
What? What are you talking about?

Kiara is Jackal's twin sister. She is much more outgoing than him, but she can be seriously hardheaded sometimes. She doesn't really listen to others. She is in the beginning and doesn't really show up again till near the end..
(After catching her brother from falling)
I told you to watch your footing up here. The moss and lichen aren’t that good of grips you know.
(After finding a trapdoor and her brother is just staring at it.)
So are you gonna open it or what?
(After her father won't tell them anything. But she wants, no, needs to know)
But I want to know what was in the chest and why you feel the need to hide it from us.

Nazreg is the lead villain through out the series. The first ever god, he's arrogant because he can be. He's cunning and if something doesn't go his way his fury is unmatched. He needs to have a deep voice that can also go to medium volume if possible.
(His first lines. We just meet him after he throws Jackal across a room.)
Humans are the strangest species to me. You try to save your kind by any means possible. Even when you know it might as well be impossible. You have a strong need to, preserve your species. Yet you seem to care for you and your needs only. You also have a need to try and control everything when it’s, just plain impossible. Very confusing.
(After having a sword run through his chest.)
That was really annoying. Is that what pain feels like? Well whatever, I’ve wasted enough time here.
(He has just been burnt and it actually hurt for real. It should be said in slowly growing rage.)

(In the midst of a fight. His children have disobeyed him and this is the best thing he can think of.)

I’m not really sure. I believe I picked it up some time ago before I lost my eyes. Something’s telling me, I need to hand it over. Pass it to someone else. And, well, you’re family has helped me out so much these past couple years...

I can tell you now, this craftsmanship, is only achievable by dwarves, ancient dwarves no less. No dwarf today can craft something this well. I bet you could chop at a slab of granite for a year and not dull or chip the blade.
