EPIC The Musical Duet Cover | Get in the Water (but Poseidon brought his wife)

Project Overview

Working with a composer to make a lil' fan version of Get in the Water from EPIC The Musical, with the slight change of instead of just Poseidon attempting to kill Odysseus; his wife, and the other of Polyphemus, Thoosa came to help after Poseidon's initial attack in "Ruthlessness" failed

The project video linked above (and in the audition boxes themselves) include the lyrics and the (temporary) instrumentals from the original song for the purposes of this casting call, although the final version will have remade instrumentals to more accurately fit Thoosa's vocals in with Odysseus and Poseidon's own vocals


REQUIREMENTS

--------------
1. PayPal or Venmo are soft requirements for receiving payments (it's just what I'm most comfortable with)

2. Either leave your Discord in your audition or be willing to share it privately in the CCC chat upon being casted (So I can make a group chat between those casted, myself, and the composer)

3. Have a good quality microphone, it doesn't have to be professional grade, but I would rather not have background static or muffled vocals

Poseidon's wife, and the mother to Polyphemus... I'm not quite sure how to describe Thoosa seeing as how it's nearly impossible to find information about her (aside from being Polyphemus' mother, being a sea nymph who's name refers to being swift like an ocean current)

While not required to sing 1:1 like her, the voice I imagine for Thoosa would be similar to RafScrap (i.e. a deep and alluring feminine voice) but feel free to sing in whatever voice feels natural for you

As a counter to Poseidon leaning towards a wrathful rage focused on his power over the ocean, Thoosa's lyrics will lean more towards a "graceful rage", focusing her threats to Odysseus towards Penelope and Telemachus

Same role as the original musical, though for the cover Poseidon's lyrics lean more towards his threats to Odysseus that focus on drowning Ithaca as a whole if Odysseus doesn't "Get in the Water" (i.e. his threats lean more on his powerful / godly power of the ocean)

Feel free to try and match Poseidon's original EPIC voice or use your own singing voice, only "requirement" is to have a singing voice that could believably fit a wrathful / angry god

The reigning (short) king of Ithaca himself; also the same role as the original musical like Poseidon, his lyrics will likely be very similar, if not the same as the original Get in the Water, seeing as how he's still on the defensive against Poseidon (and additionally his wife, Thoosa)

Feel free to try and match Ody's original EPIC voice or use your own singing voice, only "requirement" is to have a singing voice that could believably fit someone in Odysseus' position of desperately trying to survive not only the attacks of a god, but the attacks of a god AND a swift and graceful sea nymph
