INTRODUCTION
This is a Casting call for an EPIC: The Musical Fancast. If you don’t know what EPIC is, it is a concept musical created by Jorge Rivera-Herrans that adapts the book Homer’s Odyssey into 40 songs divided into nine sagas. It follows Odysseus in his 20-year Journey to get home to Ithaca after the Trojan War, the Musical is also accompanied by Animatics! I recommend checking it out. For this Casting Call, I’d like to get talented singers to sing the whole EPIC: The Musical! The name is very self explanatory.
REQUIREMENTS
BE 14 OR OLDER! I’d like vocalists in their late teens to young adult years to participate in this project as it be near my age range and fit the character’s voices. I also listed the age requirement for each character.
GOOD AUDIO QUALITY! No background noise, nor echoes. IT’S OKAY if you have a cheap microphone, what matters is the quality. I’d prefer if you’d state your equipment here!
FOLLOW THE AUDITION STEPS! If you don’t sing the song I assigned your character, your audition WON’T be considered.
NO AI! I absolutely despise AI, and I won’t tolerate AI auditions. Noise compressor is okay.
HAVE DISCORD! Leave your discord in the description of your audition as it will be our method of contact.
HAVE CONSISTENT ACTIVITY! You don’t need to text 24/7 in our Server, just texting a little bit is enough! We’d like everyone to get along and be friends - That’d also help a LOT in our assignments, where you’d know when we’d have assignments.
FINAL NOTES
1) This project won’t be paid, it is a passion project, meaning I created this because I’m passionate about singing and I’d like people to have fun singing and participating in this project!
2) You do not need to sound EXACTLY like the characters, but we’d prefer if our Vocalists sounded like the characters.
3) You’re allowed to audition for as many characters as you want! don’t be shy if you think your voice fits them.
