"End of Eternity: The Secret Hours" Manga Fandub

Project Overview

Introduction

Welcome to my fandub for the "End of Eternity: The Secret Hours" manga. These dubs are for fun, but I am striving to create a good quality product for each one, to give the cast involved something to be proud as well as ourselves. We know it's not always easy getting experience, and I want these projects to be a high quality project for people of any experience level to either just have fun doing or so people wanting to get more experience and for everyone to have something they're proud of to share.  This is one of multiple dubs that are up or will being posted in the coming weeks. We are trying to build a surplus of videos up before they start going up in June. That way it will give the long term VA's for any of the projects some leeway if things come up down the road and they can't meet deadlines. Once June hits there will still be some coming up every so often but the majority of the projects for the next few months at least will be being listed this month or the beginning of April.

What I'm Looking For

Due to this and future projects like this being fandubs, unfortunately I am not able to offer monetary compensation due to copyright. Although it is unpaid though I would like to still have a level of professionalism and quality to the project. So I will be looking for people with:

  • Good quality microphone, preferably XLR but if you have a USB mic do not let that deter you from auditioning since it is the sound quality I'm looking for and that's still definitely achievable with some USB mics.
  • Little to no background noise, reverb or echo. Some we can definitely work with but if there is too much of any of these it greatly takes away from the quality of the audio and can be very jarring to listen to when mixed in with other audio.
  • Discord is definitely preferred but not mandatory by any means but will make things much easier to work on the project as a whole.
  • A good attitude! I'm hoping to form a great group of people to continue working with me on these projects going forward and that is obviously much easier if you can get along well with me and the rest of the team!

    Thank you all for the amazing auditions we've received. We could not be more happy with the amount of talent that has auditioned across our projects this last month. That said, we are a bit behind on casting due to the amount of auditions but we are in the final stages with each project now, so thank you all for your patience! I am also going through and making a list of everyone that is wanting feedback for their auditions since I know a lot of people asked already. If you have and haven't received any yet it's just because of how busy we've been. I'm planning to start getting through my feedback list this coming week though! So if you haven't listed you'd like feedback on your audition(s) and you would, feel free to let me know and I'd be happy to add you to my list! Zephyr is one of the 3 main characters of the game. He is not a fan of kids but he takes a liking to Nero as like a little sister. He appears to have feelings for Leanne. He's a bit more on the quieter side but when it comes to doing his job, he is not one to mess with.

He does dress up as a waitress at one point to go undercover, so I would like his voice be more medium high, but with the ability to raise it up a bit higher while he's in disguise. 

  • Ok, just give me the signal!

    I'm back... *confused* ...A quarrel? And you two ate first without me... 

  • What are you waiting for? Do you want to keep getting beaten by that "Blanche Flamm" like yesterday's mission? 

    Theresa-san and them have been toying with us, haven't they...

  • But you'd use something so underhanded like today's request for that? How horrible, testing us

Vashyron is the 3rd and eldest member of the main team. He is also a bit of a womanizer and pervert, and is obsessed with women.  He falls for the woman who gives them their job and was very disappointed when he found out she herself wasn't coming to live with them. Although he acts weird when he's around a pretty girl, he takes his job very serious though and is dedicated to working hard for his boss Theresa.

I'm open to interpretations for his voice, but I'm picturing a more medium-low tone.

  • Ah, that... I'm still pissed off! We went through so much for nothing... 

    She wears a tight-fitting body suit, and lets her long hair flow freely... My my, I'd love to play with her just once

  • My my, so chinbell's finally shown her sadistic side?

    Zephyr... Lynbell.. Are you alright?! 

    *Embarrased* Nothing's happened to me....

  • Theresa's relatives... As expected you are certainly classy... I'm Vashyron... This is Zephyr and Leanne, pleased to meet you.

Theresa is the teams boss and serves as the connection between them and their client. She is a more elderly but strong woman. 

I picture her voice being more proper, possibly with an English accent, but not necessary. 

  • You'd pick that job up as I'd expected Vashyron 

    There two were the real clients... and they are the subject of the request I am about to make

  • These are my distant relatives, Mariana-san and Nero-san, they recently came to me for protection

  • That's right, for one month I would like you to shelter them in your residence and serve as their bodyguards.

Mariana is Nero's big sister and the one that contracts the team for protection. She would do anything to help protect her sister and even goes so far as to give the team a fake mission just to test their skills.

I picture her with a more sexy and seductive voice but also can sound sweeter when talking to her sister. I picture it more on the deeper side.

  • Nero...? Please greet them properly too... I apologize, this child is afraid of strangers

  • I had to know... not just your strength, but your coordination and character... Whether I can really entrust this child to you...

Nero is the shy and soft spoken child that the team is contracted to protect. She comes from a rich family and is next in line to take over the family and is in danger because of it. 

She doesn't say a whole lot at first but slowly begins to open up to the team after a while. She does not want anyone to get hurt because of her however. I do picture her, although younger sounding, to sound more proper as she is an heiress. 

  • P-Please take care of me... 

    I-I'm going to check the mail...

  • Wait! It's not onii-chan's fault! Maid onii-chan was cool! 

    I could get used to running away... But no matter how I try, I cannot get used to facing it...

  • I don't want to be the head! I don't want to become a machine!!

Cardinal Pater is a minor role, that comes and hires Zephyr to help save a local business. He is a bit of an odd man but he does have a good heart. 

I picture his voice being a bit more goofy but nothing too over the top, but I'm open to interpretations.

Stuart is Nero's servant but serves as the main antagonist, he is trying to hunt down Nero and return her to the family. 

I picture him having a more mid-deep ranged voice, with a more proper but arrogant tone to it.

  • Anyhow, the sights of lower class are impressive sometimes... It takes strong and brave people to live in this chaos

Gargliano is another one of the Cardinals. He has a very minor role but has a very eccentric character. He is a more flamboyant fashion designer so I would love to have someone that can properly bring him to life.
