Emrakul Rises - Magic Story Audio Drama
Project Overview
Without its protector, the world of Innistrad feels hollow. All that remains of Avacyn is a burnt shadow on the floor of a cathedral. But the void she left will not remain vacant. A great power is coming to fill the emptiness. The land trembles. Something is rising.
As Wizards of the Coast continues to release their weekly Magic Story updates, it is our goal to bring these stories to life through audio.
As the true threat reveals Herself we have many, many characters to cast. From a few cultists, to several major characters including planeswalkers! I ask that everyone who submits an audition for anything else also auditions as a cultist, so we can have as many of those as possible! You can read this week's full story here:

A small child whose mother was killed and village burned down when Avacyn first went mad. He does not know that Avacyn is the one who killed her, so prays for safety as monstrosities swarm all around.
Dear Archangel Avacyn. Mother told me that if I get scared, I should pray. I'm scared now.
Dear Archangel Avacyn. I want to go home. Please. Can I go home?
"PLEASE, AVACYN! HELP ME!"
One of many angels driven mad along with Avacyn. Now stricken with grief at Avacyn's death, their madness turns them to follow the new eldritch monstrosity dominating their home.
"Avacyn is gone!"
"She is here now. She is rising! Rising!"
"I—I'amrakul!"
A fanatical cultist who has travelled to see the rising of her god Emrakul. She believes she is the most worthy of joining her god and becoming One.
Please. Please choose me.
"Choose me, Emrakul. Take me. Emrakul."
"The most devout!"
A skilled huntress and protector of the people. Halana's wife. She is a recurring character on Innistrad, so should you take this role you will be asked to reprise it in the future.
"We should start with the townsfolk,"
"I'll start with the jumpy one and you take the thick one."
"Stay with me, Hal. I need you!"
A skilled huntress and protector of the people. Alena's wife. She is a recurring character on Innistrad, so should you take this role you will be asked to reprise it in the future.
"Where do you want to begin?"
"I'm all right, Alena. I'll be all right."
Be'mrakul. One'mrakul.
One of the townsfolk attacking Hal and Alena. These are their only lines, but I ask that you also submit lines as a cultist as well!
"We'mrakul."
"Be'mrakul."
Formerly an elder of the town Hal and Alena protected. He has been corrupted by Emrakul's presence and is now a mindless monster. Should you take this role, you will be asked to reprise it when we return to his original story.
"Come'mrakul. Be'mrakul."
"I'amrakul, are'mrakul, Emrakul!"
Emrakul is a massive monstrosity, whose true form is beyond the understanding of mortals. One of the eldrazi titans, She travels between the planes of the multiverse, corrupting and devouring all in Her path. Due to Her habit of corrupting anything and everything, her voice will consist of many voices, but we need a strong, insidious voice to hold it as a through-line.

Chandra is a powerful pyromancer and a planeswalker. Part of the Gatewatch, she is sworn to protect the multiverse from threats like the Eldrazi. She is impetuous, hot-headed, and sassy. Chandra is a major character in the Magic storyline. While her first line is the only one in this story, you will be asked to reprise this role on several occasions. The last line listed is from her origin story, in which she is 11 years old. I would appreciate it if you could try for such a voice as I would like her to be a consistent actor throughout. It will not be required to get the part though. I look forward to working with you!

Gideon is a hieromancer and a planeswalker. Part of the Gatewatch, he is sworn to protect the multiverse from threats like the Eldrazi. He is commanding, a protector of the innocent, and prone to bouts of pride. Frankly, in my head I've always imagined he sounds like Garen from League of Legends, but show me what you've got! One of many cultists, corrupted by Emrakul's presence. I ask that as many people as possible add a voice for this role, even if you auditioned for another. That way we can have many! Here are all of their lines:
