Empty Oasis: Overview
This is a fan-made spin-off story of the Project Neural Cloud auto chess gacha game. This project is not endorsed by MICA/Sunborne.
Additionally, this project will require more voices than the ones listed in this CCC Project. There's more sections, and I will relaunch/reopen the project when those sections are closer. Future sections' cast will have longer notice, and will get added to the project as they're confirmed.

Selection Process & CommunicationThe submissions this time will be open for the month of December, and I hope by one week after I would have made my selection. If you are a potential candidate, I will reach out to you, as I Casting Call Club seems to only show you if you are short listed if you have premium, but can show if your submission is denied.
PremiseThe story of Project Neural Cloud is thrown off the rails when a "professional narrator and storyteller" Nezumi replaces the protagonist of this story. In the original story of this game, a mysterious experiment called "Project Neural Cloud" ended in disaster and the disappearance of Professor Irida, so a character known as the "Commander" takes the place of Professor Irida, to figure out the reason of their disappearance. The Commander was a military leader prodigy, but that doesn't matter. Nezumi cannot hope to match their skills. Instead, she must save whoever she can and find a way to repair the story before she and the rest of the Oasis perishes alongside her.
This story hopes to be able to reach those who don't know Project Neural Cloud or GFL lore, and will hope to be able to be independent from the series.
Project DetailsThis is a fake visual novel, with a planned around ~30 episodes long (25-40 minutes each), including occasional custom CGs, music from the game, and potentially more, while the entire thing plans to be free on Youtube. It's meant to mimic the format of Project Neural Cloud but fully narrated by Nezumi, with the addition of non-me VAs to voice important scenes!~
This story is one of "love and hope" as the Girls' Frontline community calls it, prepare for loss.
Lines and Project LengthLines vary from character to character, though the most I will ask you for I estimate to be in the 2-3 minute range (assuming no additional takes). This is a long-term project, and I'll be having to re-post Empty Oasis Projects since these CCC Projects can only be listed for so long.
Payment?Since I'm working on this project in sections, once the role selection is fully complete (hopefully in one CCC project), I'll pay all the selected talents at once. If your character comes back in the future and this project makes it this far, I will reach out to you and ask if you are able to recast for the role (with the same price). There will likely be a month or so window for that.
Is the Project Monetized?Not directly. There's a Patreon advertised though I don't expect much (or any) money from Youtube. And I currently expect all money gained from the Patreon won't cover production costs, which it entirely goes to.

As the submission period of the characters in the opening part are nearing it's end, I've put up the roles for the next characters! Feel free to audition again even if you have on a previous role already! The old roles will close 12/31, as all of the roles there had gotten many really strong candidates that I've (mostly but not wholly) was able to sort through! The new roles I'll leave open until 1/28 or potentially 2/4 if I need more time.
Unfortunately I noticed that some of the roles had problems and didn't save lines/descriptions, and doubled checked the new ones. Sorry for that... But the new ones I've doubled checked and all look fine now! I look forward to anyone who wants to give the roles a shot!
Info: Storm is a secret weapon made by 42Lab and kept underground. She's grown distasteful of her creators and anyone who orders her around and secretly wants the praise and care of anyone even half decent. She's like a cool-tsundere hybrid.
Origin: 42LAB, real world occupation: weather-controlling weapon of mass-destruction.
Voice: A delinquent with a slight rasp. The rest is your interpretation since there's no other references for her.
Expectations: Antagonizing speech, embarrassed lines, desperate lines

Info: Mai is a sheepish girl that perfectly matches the archetype of anime character that would say "I'll give it everything I've got!" She's normally timid, would address anyone who has authority with a "Mister" or "Miss."
Origin: 42LAB, real world occupation: meteorologist
Voice: That common-type of anime character that isn't sure of herself but tries anyways (I can't figure out how to describe it any other way)
Expectations: Nervous lines, cheerful lines, potential noises like "uwah!" or a whimper

Info: Sol is cheery, naive, and energetic the way a confident protagonist is. She's the lighthearted voice of "Empty Oasis" and in the original story.

Info: Hubble is a girl who is practically always has her head in the clouds, or at the very minimum, half way in there. She speaks of stars and the sky like she is permanently entranced by their grandeur, and has a long-winded way of speaking.

Voice: Calm and dreamy adult woman. She sounds like she has her head in the clouds
Expectations: Casual tone
Hubble has no short phrases and instead has only fully voiced lines in the form of a "letter."

Info: Wisdom is an intermediate sanctifier; a leader of a siege group of digital anti-viruses that wishes to purge "irregular agents." Unlike most intermediate or lesser sanctifiers (sanctifiers under her command) she possesses some level of intelligence, though not much.
Origin: Sanctifier
Voice: Higher pitched.
Expectations: Battle commands
Since Wisdom doesn't have any voiced lines in the game, I'll leave it up to you how you want to interpret her voice.

Info: T1642, A.K.A. "Hannah," is an "agent" of Rossum. In human speak, a program in a digital sector in this digital world. She's an artificial intelligence created by Turing and practically a perfect specimen because she's the best Turing has produced. She's naïve and longs for a solution to the Sanctifiers' unfair ways, leading her to be both heroic and optimistic, and goes against the wiser judgement of other character
Origin: 42LAB, digital entity in the Magrasea (meaning no real world presence).
Voice: Soft and childlike, "anime 16-17 y/o
Expectations: Needs to be able to vary in emotion as she tries to play hero. See audition line(s).

Info: Turing is an "agent" of Rossum. In human speak, a program in a digital sector in this digital world and Turing oversees the "artificial intelligence sector." She's mature and has built 1642 artificial intelligences of her own and treats them like her own children, though 1640 of them were terminated against her will...

Voice: Soft, though still has the maturity of an adult's voice.

[Repeating Faith's suggestion to imply it's insanity.] You just EXECUTED one of my children and asked if I wanted to see footage of it!?
[Demoralized after losing another creation of hers, feigning compliance thinly as she tries to delay Faith's pursuit of more "irregular agents"] I entered Rossum's districts into lockdown like you asked. Isn't that what you wanted?
Info: Faith is a Sanctifier (an anti-virus program of the Magrasea). She's dull and non-caring, the kind of antagonist who would read out the "rules" you've broken by existing while attempting to purge you into binary. Not sure how else to characterize her for you.
Origin: Magrasea.
Voice: Flat and monotone. But a villain in this story, so in a way like she's permanently talking down to someone.
Faith has no voiced lines in-game, so no reference audio for her.
The irregular agent found in Rossum has been successfully purged, and now Rossum is a safer place. Would the video proof of our deed comfort you?
["freeze you're under arrest" kind of situation. "Daemon" is simply pronounced like "demon"] Cease your resistance, daemon.
[Attempting to reason with someone she plans to kill, because it makes sense to her for some reason] As an irregular agent, your very existence is a threat to the Magrasea.
Info: Riko is a merchant who makes sure there's a flow of "goods" through the Magrasea goes smoothly. However, she's known for being pretty business heavy while being sort of a goblin. She's not afraid to make a quick buck off some who fall easily to scams like a character named Chanzhi.
Origin: Magrasea.
Voice: Energetic goblin merchant fox; I recommend even more than usual to check the reference audio.
Expectations: Both the sillyness and goblin-slyness of such a character archetype.
[Striking a deal with someone, perhaps in a sing-song tone. Feel free to break the line up as needed] Well, if you want to strike a deal with a good merchant, you 'ought to have brought something good for Riko in exchange!~
[Riko introducing herself as a skilled merchant] Riko knows lots of things. An exchange of information is still a trade!~ And one that Riko would gladly take!
[Riko is being shot at.] What the! Do they know how important Riko is! What if they hurt Riko!
Info: Nu is a drone operator, she's a professional-sounding doll with a handful of drones that typically surround her. The art shown for the character is not the official. It's still a work in progress and a filler art. Nu's drones on the other hand are small and hover around her, sharing a very small amount of autonomy, but are more chirpy, childish, and not very intelligent in comparison.
Origin: Universal Anything Services. Real world occupation: UAV Operator.
Voice: Professional and mature with a hint of quirkiness. The drones are her voice, but with more cheer/chip and playfulness.
Expectations: The ability to do Nu's professional tone, and the short voice snippets for her more childish drones.
[Nu reporting to her advisor. "Nezumi" is pronounced "neh-ZOO-me"] Professor Nezumi, let me handle the navigation and scouting.
[Nu giving orders to her drones] (Nu:) You two, escort me. You two, help Fresnel, Sol, and T1641. Finally, you stay here and keep an eye on Turing for me. (Nu's Drone): Ooo! A secret spy mission!?
[Nu's drone being excited about it's own special mission.] "Protect T1641 at all costs?" Here goes nothing!
Info: Lesser sanctifiers are very simple minded anti-virus programs. They don't speak much and execute the orders of sanctifiers of higher rank than them.
Origin: Sanctifier
Voice: Either gender, monotone voice, anything you want!.
Expectations: A few short monotone phrases... That's it!
