Set on the fractured planet of Rifterria—where wild magic has reshaped the land and unleashed monstrous threats—the series follows Sophia Starlight, a bodyguard involved in a rift project that summons powerful beings from other worlds to defend the last sanctuary: Emerald City. One such arrival is Eros, a morally complex warlock with mind-control abilities whose presence shifts the fragile balance of power. As he aids citizens, slays beasts, and maneuvers through a divided city ruled by four rival military factions and unequal access to magic and technology. Eros begins carving out a legacy of his own.
