Lucas is a fun character, likes the beach, and his best friends. He has blond curly hair, green eyes, and a fun personality (though not afraid to be serious sometimes)

 he is a teenager (15-16). More feminine and masculine voices are welcome! Custom lines for audition aren't necessary, but are very appreciated! Google Meet (discord, if it is more convenient for the majority) will be needed, but you do not have to turn on your camera. It is simply for a read-through (with the other VA's) of the script so we can get the tone right before lines are recorded.

Audrey is sassy and fun, and is Emily/Em's sister. She likes to go on adventures and explore the world, but something she misses the most is her mom, who she hasn't seen in years.

Allan is Audrey and Em's father, who is a little clueless and just likes to sit back with a book and forget the world exists. He loves his kids and try's his best to make their childhood's happy ones. He's more of a minor character than the main three, but shows up in episode 1 and has multiple appearances throughout and at the end.

Emily/Em is Audrey's sister and spends a lot of her time reading and thinking about herself and the world. She drives a lot of the show, pushing to figure out how to get home.

Em is trans masculine, and figures this out around the middle of season 1. This is not a very big focus of his character. He will have a more feminine voice for a majority of the series, but an androgynous voice works very well, too. He's serious, but he eventually learns how to have fun.

Agda is more of a minor character. She's one of Lucas's friends and eventually serves as a guide for Em as he figures out himself. She's 16-17 and is a transgender woman.

Dave is Lucas's adoptive father and is around 25-26. He spends most of his time stressing about Lucas's safety, managing the Echan Lighthouse, and fishing. He shows up in most episodes involving Lucas, but not for long, so he's considered more of a supporting role. Despite having many responsibilities, he still goes out to party, which bites back at him eventually.

Uncle Jeff is Lucas's uncle, and technically supposed to be his legal guardian, but he's not able to be around much due to his work, so Dave became his legal guardian. He's in his 50's-60's, and is on the sea most of the time, working with his crew to bring in fish for their town (they run into some trouble sometimes, with these giant fish hanging around the surface recently)

He loves his family and tries to be with them as often as possible, and even though he seems intimidating, he's actually really nice. Think Massimo Marcovaldo (julia's dad) from Luca or Flint's dad from Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs.

Role will always be open, if you can apply, that would be awesome! You can apply here if you'd like to work with us. Once you have been sent confirmation and you have confirmed that you will be working with us, you will be sent model sheets, guides, and depending on whether or not you want to do rough or cleanup, you will be sent boards or rough animation to finish and send back over.

As long as you can send over your animation/work with a transparent background (so that it may be colored and placed in the composition) we don't mind what program you use.

If you'd like to help out with the writing, that'd be great! This just includes looking over what has been written, changing what doesn't sound right, and throwing ideas to help make the plot better. Once you have been chosen, you will be given access to a google doc containing the script. You will also be able to come up with ideas for episodes and pitch them.

Based on the boards for certain scenes, you may create backgrounds for scenes of the episodes. You must be able to send background and foreground elements on separate layers so that they may be animated on top of and underneath.

A background guide will be available to you if you get the role, and colorscripts+shots of the 3d models for all interiors/exteriors of buildings will be available.

If you'd like to edit together the final product (not including composition, you can do that if you want, though) this is the role for you! It'll take awhile after you are contacted about getting the position for any work to be sent to you, since as of now we don't have the work for episode 1 finished. The role requires that you are able to edit together the episode (13-20 minuets, and that you are able to send it back over in a YouTube approved file format (like MP4). You (and everyone who works on an episode) will be credited.
