Dynasty Warriors Cosplay Skit
Project Overview
We're two cosplayers looking for some VAs for our cosplay skit for Genki 2019 qualifications.
This skit revolves around the Dynasty Warriors franchise; more precisely, Dynasty Warriors 9.
The characters involved in this skit will be Zhu Ran and Lu Xun, which means we'll mainly be looking for voices fitting young adults, as they're 19 and 17 years old, respectively.
The skit will be somewhere between 2 minutes to 2 minutes and 30 seconds long, including a brief battle scene - so our VAs shouldn't be shy about making battle- and fighting sounds.
The skit takes starts out with a sparring match between the two generals, whereas Lu Xun ends out as the victor, and proceeds to "lecture" Zhu Ran about his battle techniques, while Zhu Ran mocks and makes fun of Lu Xun behind his back. Lu Xun manages to mention something about Zhu Ran's "slow reflexes", followed by Zhu Ran catching an arrow mid-air(inspired by a cutscene in DW8), which stops Lu Xun's tracks. This is followed by the sound of a war horn sounding in the distance, as it seems their Kingdom is under attack...

Lu Xun is the youngest general (17 y.o.) and is therefore not very confident. He's well-behaved by far most of the time, but also very serious as he wishes to prove his worth to his older allies, since he's often mocked with his young age.
Lu Xun and Zhu Ran are close friends, but also likes to show off in front of each other (almost like rivals) - they are capable of 'acting their age' when they're around one another, thus they seem less formal when they're alone.
(Lu Xun wins their sparring match) “... And the third round goes to me~.”
(Lu Xun lectures Zhu Ran about his battle techniques) “Well, you’re quite impressive as usual, General Zhu Ran, however if you had quicker reflexes, maybe you would be able to defeat me in a match someday.”
(Lu Xun being stunned, after Zhu Ran catches an arrow mid-air as it was directed at Lu Xun): “... Did you... Did you just catch that?”
Zhu Ran is the older general of the two (19 y.o.), yet he's more playful than Lu Xun. He likes showing off and getting the praise for his hard work, yet he also knows when and how to show appreciation for his fellow generals.

(Zhu Ran is defeated in their sparring match, sitting on the ground feeling quite sore, groaning) “This isn’t what I meant when I said we take turns!”
(Zhu Ran catches the arrow mid-air, baffling Lu Xun much to Zhu Ran's amusement - he speaks in a confident, mocking tone) “Pfft, and you said I have slow reflexes~”
(Zhu Ran and Lu Xun in a short argument, mocking one another) "Geez, are you always so naive? Or are you just showing off while I am around?”"
