Hello! First off I want to say, Any time I refer to a campaign in this,
means I am talking about a story made for dungeons and dragons. This is a
bit of an odd audition, this is a podcast yes, but this is really a
recorded session of dnd.
Originally, I was not planning to
record this. But when plans with the people I planned to play this with
fell through, I decided that I’m proud enough of this short story for it
to be out there. I really just want to see people enjoy it since I put
so much work into it. But if I’m going to record it, I’d like people who
actually want to do this and are excited for it, people who are
committed to seeing it through and playing their part. That’s where you
come in.
If you audition, you need to have at least a vague
knowledge of dnd 5e, a decent mic, and free time to record on weekends.
The aim is to do this all in one go and edit it into separate episodes
after. If this goes well, I may do more of these, but this is an
experiment.
The campaign is about a small group of adventures
(the players) hired to sneak into a tower to discover the source of odd
noises that have been keeping people up as well as a weird stench, and
to hunt for clues as to the location of the family who owns the tower.
It’s a bit vague, but I really don’t want to give away much. The point
of this audition is to find people willing to play their role, no matter
what story they are set in, and people who will actually get into the
story as to make this an interesting experience for listeners! Remember,
though this is dnd, I’m focused more on the story than some of the more
intricate rules.
