Dungeons and Dragons NPC || Voices of Eorthe

Dungeons and Dragons NPC || Voices of Eorthe

Project Overview

Hello! I am Xeauregard, but most people call me Xo. I am currently running a Dungeons and Dragons campaign called Eorthe, but I need a little help. As a Dungeon Master, I need to do the voices for all the Non-Player Characters or NPCs, and that's a lot of work on top of everything else I have to do, but I realized that I might not need to.

"What's the Campaign About?" and Background Information

The campaign is based in both a real life setting AND a video game setting. Anyone who applies will be helping out with the video game aspect. They will be voicing the NPCs in the video game world for example, a Tavern Owner, a Blacksmith, or anyone I think of.

Project Information

Like I mentioned above, you will be voicing NPCs, meaning that the script is set. However, if I do have another line idea, I will contact you and ask you to voice it for me, so once I ask for the first set of lines, I may ask for more at a later time, so keep that in mind.

You may have also noticed that the deadline date is to the end of the year. This is because I may have more NPCs I need voicing so I will add them to this CCC page. However, if I find someone who fits the voice of an NPC, I will close that role. But don't fret cause I may add another role that'll interest you!

You WILL be Credited, when I get around to posting the game on YouTube, there will be a Google Document with everyone who did voices for that session.

Rules

  • You must be at least 16 years old to audition for this project
  • Your audio quality must be good. I won't accept auditions with poor audio quality and too much background noise
  • Our primary source of contact will be Discord, so if you don't have a discord that may be problematic
  • Optional: You are allowed to send in a Demo Reel, (it's a great way to show your range as a voice actor :D) but it's not required
  • Optional: You are allowed to audition for multiple roles!

**Please read the following before auditioning**

Latest Updates

  • New Roles!

Hello! I've posted 3 new roles, which includes 3 male and a female (child) role. Feel free to check it out!

Thosten Strongsword

Unpaid

Thosten Strongsword is a Dwarven blacksmith who runs one of the most popular blacksmiths in the main town, The Rusty Anvil.

He has a deep and gruff (rough?) voice, y'know the stereotypical Dwarven voice (if you've ever seen any Dungeons and Dragons game). However, the accent is up to interpretation! I don't really have a preference so do what you think is his voice!

These are not his final voice lines!

  • Hello there, welcome to The Rusty Anvil. What can I do for ya'?

  • Must've done something mighty tough to get your sword into this shape. Nothin' I can't handle. I'll have this done for you in a jiffy.

Halsira Hillwillow

Unpaid

Halsira Hillwillow is a Halfling woman who runs a tavern in the main town. The tavern is called the Ol' Tavern, yes it's uncreative but I panicked.

She has a middle ranged to high voice and speaks quickly, but sounds kind. the accent is up for interpretation but I always thought of it as Scottish. (Y'know stereotypical Halfling woman voice).

  • Why hello! Welcome to the Ol' Tavern, what can I get for you?

  • I've got a tankard of mead and fantasy fish and chips for you right here. Call me over if ya need anything else.

  • Oh! Bronzebaast! I've been looking for you. I know you are quite the adventurer and I need your help.

Seiche

Unpaid

Seiche (pronounced say-sh) is a Water Genasi child. So her voice should fit one of a child, say 7-10 years old. The accent is up to interpretation, I don't really have any in mind. Sound kind of shy, but in the childlike way, y'know?

Because Seiche is purely a quest-giver, she's just a one-off NPC. Meaning, besides her quest, she won't have any other voicelines.

  • Excuse me? Could ya do me a favor? Could ya buy something for me? Something pretty?

  • Oo! What did ya bring for me? Hmmm. That's not really what I wanted, could ya get something else?

  • Oo! What did ya bring for me? oh. This is... exactly what I wanted! Thank ya so much missus! It's so pretty!

Bandit Twins Petran and Pecran Umanne
open
Unpaid

Petran and Pecran are twin elf bandits who try to rob the players. Their one character trait is that they are twins, because of that they often finish each others sentences, so I will need two people for this role. They are battle encounter NPCs only, however that doesn't mean I will require hurt noises.

Voices are up to interpretation, but they are both male.

  • What do we have here, brother?
I think we have some poor little adventurers...
    …lost in the forest!

  • Well like I always say, brother. Lost adventurers
    Probably have gold.

Theralel

Unpaid

Theralel is a high elf man, his voice is higher pitched, kind of flamboyant. He has a posh British accent, think Lucius Elenasto from High Rollers: Aerois, if you know what that is.

Theralel is a one-off character because he is purely a quest giver, so he won't have too many lines.

  • Oh! Adventurer! You have to help me! I have misplaced my coin purse. If you find it, I will reward you greatly.

  • Oh! Thank you! Thank you! Okay, the last place I had it was near those nasty little hobgoblins and that disgusting nest they call a camp.

  • You can't back out! I'm sorry I lied and said I misplaced it, but I really need it back. You can keep the rest of the loot you get from the camp, I just need my coin purse back.
