Dubs and Flubs is pursuing our second project; School Days!
School Days is a not so typical romance anime based on the infamous visual novel game.
School Days focuses on the life of Makoto Itou, a first-year high school student living with his divorced and unseen mother in the fictional city of Haramihama. During his second term, he becomes infatuated with Kotonoha Katsura, a soft-spoken schoolmate who shares train rides with him to and from campus.
Rules:
Please have a decent quality mic and quiet recording space.
Lines will be due every three weeks. Please be able to keep up with due dates or keep in contact with the D&F team to figure out an upload plan.
Discord is a must! We do all of our primary communication over discord in our work server
You must be 18 years old or older to be a part of this project. Nobody under the age of 18 will be permitted to work on this project.
Be aware; 80% of the roles for this show include at least one NSFW scene. NSFW roles will be noted.

13 years old
Kokoro is the younger sister of Kotonoha Katsura. Kokoro is loud and excitable. She wants to know everything she possibly can about her sister and her boyfriend.
(Excited/eager) “Is it the guy set as the background on your phone? That’s Itou, right?”
(Loud/Excited) “Wow! Look at this! He’s real! It’s nice to meet you, big brother!”
(Quiet/Confused) “Why do you call my sister Katsura?”
18 years old
Setsuna is Sekai’s closest friend. Setsuna is typically soft spoken and reserved. She doesn’t say much, but always attempts to steer Sekai in the right direction.
(Monotone/quiet) “Then I’ll ask you… Are you really not dating Itou?
(Quiet/Concerned) “Sekai, those tickets… weren't you supposed to invite Itou?”
(Monotone/Calm) "I’ll have the limited time shiratama anmitsu dessert topped with matcha. And Iced coffee for the drink, no sugar."
18 years old
Taisuke is Makoto’s closest friend. He’s very loud and excitable, oftentimes prying for more information about Makoto’s love life having had no luck himself with finding a girlfriend.
(Pushy/teasing) “Saionji is pretty popular, you know! She’s totally into you!”
(Sigh/Dissapointment) You really aren’t a good judge of girls, are you?
(Desperate/emotional) “Katsura! I love you! I love you more than anyone ever could!”
(Eager/demanding) “Hey! Makoto! Did you get with her yet?! Give me all the details! I want to know everything!”
18 years old
Hikari is a minor character. She is a friend of Sekai. She eventually befriends Makoto as well. She tends to be bitter and has a negative opinion of most of the boys in the school. Hikari tends to be more childish than the rest of the cast.
(Annoyed/Rude) “I told you he was bad news! You’ll just end up depressed if you keep hanging around a guy like that.”
(Teasing) “So you two are on a first name basis?”
(Annoyed) “It really is his fault. He used the seat change as a chance to hit on you.”
18 years
Nanami is a friend of Sekai. She is the only one in the friend group with a boyfriend. She is often questioned and teased for her relationship. Nanami is often outspoken and confident in herself. Nanami is extremely loyal to Sekai.
(Sigh/bored) “I wonder what we’ll be doing this year for the school fair. We normally just do a cafe or a haunted house.”
(Teasing) “So you haven’t been hanging out with us as much because of Itou?” (sigh) “You can just feel the love.”
(Upset/crying/ashamed) “No! No! NO! Why?! Why is this happening! Nobody was supposed to see this! How can I show my face again after this!”
18 years old
Otome is Makoto’s childhood friend who is interested in him now that they’re in high school. Otome is rather cruel to Kotonoha, looking for any way she can to keep her away from Makoto.
(Nervous/Embarrassed) “Y-yeah, but it doesn’t seem like he’s giving me the time of day. It’s not like I have anything to lose anyway.”
(Angry) “Katsura, where did you go during lunch? I had this pushed on me because you weren’t here.”
(Nervous) “Makoto… I wanted to talk to you. Do you have a minute?” (Pause) “Would you like to walk around the school festival with me?”

Minami is one of Otome’s friends. She is one of Kotonoha’s bullies.
(Teasing) "Maybe she went to see her boyfriend."
(Confused) "So what kind of guy are you dating?"
(Excited/Encouraging) "Otome, you’ll get any guy you like!"

Kumi is one of Otome’s friends and Kotonoha’s bullies.
(Shocked) "So it was a guy!"
(Eager) "Speaking of the school fair, have you decided yet, Otome?"
(Cooing) "Otome’s so cute!"
18 year old
Natsumi is one of Otome’s friends and Kotonoha’s bullies.
(Dismissive) "Not like it’d do us any good asking about him."
(Encouraging) "We thought it was about time to ask about the school fair."
(Teasing/Annoyed) "It’s no wonder you always take off during lunch."
Please note in your audition if you are comfortable doing NSFW scenes as well.
(Gossiping) "Have you heard about the love charm? If you make your phone background your crush and nobody finds out for a week, they'll fall in love with you!"
(Terrified) "What? What's happening? Why? Why? Why? This can't be real!"
(Calm) "No, I haven't heard anything about that. Are you sure it really happened?"
