Hello there guys! I’m Ramu-Ushi[Rai]! You can call me Rai or Ramu! I’ve been wanting to dub the Dangan Ronpa game, Dangan Ronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, but that will all be very hard without a group of vas to assist and that’s why I’m here!
You will notice that the roles of Makoto Naegi, Mondo Oowada, Kiyotaka Ishimaru, and Touko Fukawa have already been taken. Makoto by myself and the other three from friends I have requested to be in this dub. I asked them because I believed they would fit the character and perform well. I also will be playing the main which I intend to bring extreme levels of performance to as well. These casting decisions WILL NOT change. I repeat, they WILL NOT change. I am simply casting for all other characters I have yet to cast.
This is my first fandub so as of right now I am still getting adjusted to editing with Sony Vegas Pro and I want the editing to be pretty decent so this is why I am allowing this length of time for you all to audition. No need in throwing quality away because you rushed in headfirst! By the day of casting I intend to have all editing done for the first episode, the script available, and all that will be needed is the lines. YOU WILL BE GIVEN 3 TO 4 WEEKS MAX TO SUBMIT LINES!(Is subject to change depending on circumstances such as voice actor availability.)
The performances of each character is very important to me so please remember the “ACTING” in voice acting, NOT voice READING! Feel the character, be the character, and show off those voice acting chops!!! ;0
IMPORTANT: I will give critiques if requested, but I won’t post them on the audition page. This could result in deterring other actors from wanting to audition and we can’t have that! I'll pm your critique.
ALSO, keep this in mind. The upvotes may show how other vas on the site feel about some people's audition, but that does NOT mean the director feels the same. Do NOT let this deter you from auditioning.
If you believe you work better when given direction, live auditions are available to you on Skype upon request. They just have to be scheduled. I will also be offering voice calls for direction to the voice actors I cast which must be scheduled as well.
Now…onto the auditioning rules!
1. I cannot stress this enough. Please use a good mic. I am not as picky as most and will accept at least decent mic quality. By that I mean, noise removal on Audacity should at least be able to make you sound decent. To be quite frank, a terrible mic could keep you from being cast completely.
2. No heavy background noise or peaks. If you have any problems with controlling your mic levels, message me in the visitor’s comments on my profile page.
3. Please turn in lines on time. I don’t intend to hunt you down for them. At least notify me in advance if you won’t be able to do so. I’m very considerate. Continuous unexplained lateness for lines could result in being recast.
4. Have fun with it and give it all you got!

Voice: (males with a higher voice may attempt this role) medium high-medium
Personality: Chihiro has a meek and timid personality. Interestingly, he had gained several fans as a result, which has been noted in the Prologue byMakoto Naegi. On the other hand, Chihiro had a deep-rooted complex over being looked down on by others as being "weak".
Background: He was a programmer who had created much innovative software and was working to create an AI that had an actual intelligence and ego.
(Remember he’s very nervous and shy) I’m probably just imagining things, but did we ever meet somewhere before?
I've made lots of progress on the programming side, and the intelligence development... but when it comes to actual awareness, it's still a long way off. It might even be impossible... I'm not sure how to put it, but... No matter how well designed or complex a program is... No matter how closely the software can simulate the workings of the human brain... I don't think that's enough. If the program is only *simulating* thought, it will always be lacking something. Well... I guess you could say... a soul.
I want to... start training. I'm so weak... I thought if I could talk to someone strong about it, it might help to motivate me.

Personality: She is relatively stoic, mysterious, and tends to hide her feelings. She stays calm in even the most alarming of situations, even when a body is found.
Background: Little is known about her background in the beginning, but she later becomes closer to Makoto as the story progresses and becomes a key instrument in solving many of the murders in the class trials.

[Sakura OogahmE] “Super Duper High School Level Fighter”
Voice:(she is female but males can audition as well) low
Personality: Sakura is a quiet and levelheaded girl. She has a habit of talking in an old, formal manner, possibly influenced by the fact that she was heir apparent to a dojo with a three-hundred-year history. She rarely loses her nerve and often sees things above any given situation.
Background: She was an expert martial artist and wrestler who became a champion in an international competition held in America. As of now, her 400-win streak has yet to be broken.

In mixed martial arts, speed, agility, and endurance are all necessary parts of total body coordination. If that's your goal, you can't just focus on one aspect of your training.
[HifoomE Yahmahdah] “Super Duper High School Level Otaku”
Voice: medium high-medium, nerdy
Personality: He comes across as creepy and perverted, possibly due to his tendency to make an innuendo over some things that other students said. He also has a habit of putting anime references in his speech. Although having a somewhat misanthropic look on society, Hifumi will not stand for indecent crimes against those he holds in deep regard and will even go so far to kill the person to stop them from doing any more harm and avenge his friends.
Background: Hifumi was a famous doujin author who was able to sell ten thousand copies of his work at the culture festival in his school. He also claimed to favor 2D girls in comparison of 3D ones, though his attitude around them proved otherwise

Voice: medium
Personality: Leon is a passionate, hot-blooded young teenager. He often slacks off from studying and baseball practice; however, his baseball skills were never diminished due to his status as Ultimate Baseball Star. Leon is also very determined to change his current title to Ultimate Musician.
Background: He was an ace in his position as a fourth batter at his school. Despite having a talent as baseball player, Leon often slacked off from the training and had wanted to change his title to “Super High School Level Musician."

By the way, can I confess something to you!? See, I don't like baseball at all. I've never went to practice even once. So, I decided to make joining this school an excuse to quit baseball!! I have my own dreams, y'know!

Voice: medium-medium low
Personality: Hiro is one of the more cheery, laid-back students. However though, he is very gullible and prone to panic. He is mentioned to be very clumsy with money and he has constant problems with debts. Hiro is afraid of ghosts, and would freak out if such a subject comes up in a conversation. Though he can tend to quickly act out on emotion rather than reason, he does take accountability for his actions and accepts the consequences that may come with them.
Background: A rising star in the fortune-telling community, the accuracy of his predictions is actually only 30%. He is the oldest student, due to him flunking three times in the past.

(Freaking out) The world is such a unfathomably huge place yet we are locked away in this tiny box!
[Monokoomuh]-
Voice:high and cute male or female
Personality: Monokuma's personality is divided into two seperate parts: his “right”, or “white” personality, resembles a normal teddy bear who will act cute, innocent, or even patronising. As such, during the times where this side of Monokuma is active, he may come off with a polite demeanor. Monokuma's “left”, or “black” personality, is a malicious, evil, and cruel upbringer: an ego who would do anything for the sake of despair.
When upset or bothered, he will attack the cause as an effect, yet most of the time, he may hold himself back, under the claim that he cannot hurt his 'beloved students'. When amused, Monokuma often gives his signature laugh, a sadistic “upupupu”. Monokuma also dislikes people who don't obey him, and will threaten those who oppose his command.
Background: He is a strange teddy bear who proclaims himself to be the principal of Hope's Peak Academy and initiates a life of mutual killing among the students, being the manipulator for everyone to experience the dog-eat-dog world and despair within their hearts (except optimistic students like Makoto Naegi’s hope are immune to his despair plan).

[MuhkOtOe NIuhgE] “Super Duper High School Luckster/Unluckster?”
Personality: According to himself, Makoto is a very ordinary person, to the point that he feels a bit insecure about it. His most distinguishing feature is his unusual optimism.
Makoto is very supportive and forgiving, though sometimes slightly naive. He is friendly, polite and a lot more down-to-earth than the other students.
Background: Makoto has a very normal background. Makoto had normal school, normal friends, and a normal family. He was pretty much the textbook example of a normal high school student.

[Mondo Oowahda] “Super Duper High School Level Outlaw Biker”
Personality: Behaving like a stereotypical delinquent, Mondo is foul-mouthed and can come off as a rude individual. He is very easy to provoke, and will not hesitate to resort to violence if he starts to lose his patience.
Just like Chihiro, Mondo has a severe complex about being seen as weak, which he represses by constantly repeating in his mind that he is strong. This complex stems from the fact that his gang members tended to look down on him due to his status as the little brother of Daiya Owada, the first leader of The Crazy Diamonds
Background: He is the second leader of The Crazy Diamonds, Japan’s fiercest and largest Biker gang.

[KeyOtahkah IshEmahroo] “Super Duper High School Level Prefect”
Personality: Taka is righteous and values order above all else. He is also a hard worker, believing that one can achieve anything through it. In fact, he earned his title by the same means too. Due to his extreme dedication to studying and proper conduct, he has difficulties in making friends and could not even hold a "normal" conversation with another person.
Taka is very expressive and intense in his manner of speech. He can also be insensitive toward another at times
Background: He was a model student in his middle school, known for participating in its disciplinary committee.

[TOkO Fookahwuh] ”Super Duper High School Level Boookworm/ Homicidal Maniac”
Personality(Touko): Toko is intellectually gifted, but never learned or never cared to develop social skills.
Due to her severe persecution complex that originated from the bullying that she had to live through early in life, Toko is highly suspicious of other people, frequently accusing them of thinking bad things about her. She is very blunt with people and rarely trusts others. She expresses her opinions freely and unashamedly.
She has unusually quick tendencies to self-victimize.
Background (Touko): She is a romantic novel writer and was severely mistreated as a child resulting in her current insecurities and nervous behavior.

Voice: medium high-medium
Personality: (I’m just trying to avoid any spoilers, but this character later on will experience many quickly changing moods such as sickening cuteness, severe depression, clinical sophistication, and haughty superiority) Often judges people by outward appearance.
Background: (You will find out more about her later on in the story) A young fashionista who took the country by storm with her extravagant tastes. Junko had wanted to be a model ever since she was a child, but was also eager to try new things.

Hey, don't be so surprised - everyone is doing it. It's not like they had to do heavy modification in my case... These days, editing the photos in a magazine is just the way things are done! They're always making her eyes so big and her skin so ceramic, after all!

Voice: high-medium high
Personality: Seeing as she's an idol, Sayaka has a cheerful, sweet, and supporting personality. Sayaka develops a bond with Makoto, whom she considers her friend, assisting him on every occasion in Chapter 1. However, she tends to hide her feelings when she is under great pressure by putting on her public persona. She also cares greatly for her band members, and would not hesitate to do something if anything were to happen to one of them. Sayaka has an amazing intuition, as she can easily tell what people are thinking. She often joked by telling people she was an esper, only to admit that she was kidding later.
Background: She is the singer of a popular girl group in Japan. Her fans call themselves "Sayakers".
She used to be in the same junior high school with Makoto Naegi, though the two never got a chance to talk to each other until the murders at Hope's Peak Academy occurred.

Voice: medium high-medium, mature and "polite" (Prefer North American accent)
Personality: Celeste appears collected and cunning by nature. She possesses the ability to manipulate others into her bidding and can lie with a straight face. Celeste is shown to be fairly intelligent, referencing several aspects of game theory such as Prisoner's Dilemma or Zero Sum Game, but her short-temperedness surfaces when something fails to go as well as she expects it to. Celeste also show her politeness to the others as she use polite language whenever she talks to the others.
Background: She was renowned for managing to rob any who challenged her of all their money. She is an experienced gambler. Due to her nature, she was given the title “Queen of Liars”.

Personality: Always energetic and friendly, Hina is also a bit airheaded and has difficulties remembering names. Hina is quite emotional, as she is one of the very few students that take their friends' deaths very personally to the extent of crying.
Background: She was a young sportswoman who was active in five different sport clubs. Due to her ability, Hina was chosen as a representative at the Olympics.

Voice: medium, arrogant
Personality: Byakuya is an arrogant young adult who originally saw himself to be much more superior to others because of him being the heir to an extremely successful family business. He is extremely reluctant to admit to any mistakes he might have committed. He is often cold, blunt, and reserved, but he has a deviously manipulative tendency. He becomes nicer to his classmates as the story progresses. Byakuya often expressed irritation fromToko FukawaandGenocide Jack's obsessive behavior toward him, but he also often used it to his benefit by ordering themaround.
Byakuya displays a high level of intellect, showing himself to be one of the most competent and insightful investigators in the group, although he prefers to work alone due to a lack of trust among the others.
Background: Byakuya is the heir to the financial giant that is the Togami family.
According to the rumors, Byakuya had already held several management positions at a company and had managed to acquire a considerable amount of fortune on their own. Furthermore, all of the schools he enrolled in to were exclusive ones.
