Dual Destinies: Dual Destination

Dual Destinies: Dual Destination

Project Overview

This is a dubbing of Modmad's comic Dual Destinies: Dual Destination. It tells of an alternate ending to the final case of Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies. If you wish to audition for the roles of Phoenix, The Judge, or Edgeworth, please go to my To Each A Tempo audition page (http://www.castingcall.club/projects/to-each-a-tempo), as those roles will be shared amongst both productions. Good audio quality is recommended, if not required. Good luck!

Update (May 21): Scratch tracks have been recorded by me and my sister to serve as a better point of reference for the characters.

Update 2 (June 1): Casting has begun, but due to some roles receiving few to no potential actors, auditions will remain open.

The Courtroom Révolutionnaire. Athena is very confident, cheerful and has a really strong sense of justice, however her inexperience and her extreme desire for competition, combined with the attributes stated before, sometimes gets her in trouble in court and with her friends too. Her power is a special sense of hearing, so heightened that it can discover a person's true feelings just by listening to his/her words.

  • But Apollo! He was trying to frame me!

  • And I've never noticed anything strange about his voice before, but that means... He's been telling the truth?!

  • WHAT KIND OF IDIOT DO YOU TAKE ME FOR?! You think I'm going to make this easy for you?!

A gothic individual who carries a hawk named Taka on his shoulder. He is serving a murder sentence but is called to prosecute against Phoenix and Apollo in court.

  • Wright-dono... what are you insinuating-?!

  • Right- Fool Bright wouldn't stop talking about justice. He also appeared genuinely concerned when I strayed from it... But how can that be? How could a man with no emotions have a sense of right and wrong?

  • Hmph. Don't think you're getting away from me so easily, either. I am well known for my interrogation skills and from the looks of it I still have plenty to pry from those jaws of yours.

The Clarion of Revelations. Apollo is passionate and somewhat headstrong, but relies much less on courtroom antics than Phoenix did. Nowadays he's still working under Phoenix along with his new partner and co-worker Athena Cykes and while he is sometimes more ruthless and vocal than his co-workers, he always seeks justice for his clients until the very end. His power is the ability to "Perceive", meaning he can focus and use his eyes to scan a person and determine if they are being subversive through body language.

  • Take the knife for starters- why use this as Clay's murder weapon?

  • Just right now, when he said he was 'forced to endure' being Fulbright, my bracelet reacted.

  • If you mean before this trial... I've never picked up on a tell, not even once! I mean, it's not like I was wearing the eyepatch the whole time...

Bobby Fulbright/The phantom

Role assigned to: genndyodacog

An international spy who infiltrated the police force at least a year before the start of the game. A master of disguise and an skilled actor who has complete control over all of his emotions and the guy who along with Kristoph Gavin, (whom he probably never met) ushered "the Dark Age of the Law". His true identity, looks, and personality are unknown.

As Bobby Fulbright, he is a hot-blooded detective with the catchphrase "In Justice We Trust!", he has worked with Simon many times and is paired up with him in court. The detective hopes to help the prosecutor redeem himself. Bobby has such a strong sense of justice that he is compelled to intervene to help those in trouble, and he will even help defense attorneys if it will lead to a fair trial.

  • You people are never satisfied. I needed to use a weapon that could have been found at the space centre; the knife was available to me and pointed to someone familiar with the site. There; simple.

  • (as Fulbright) Nnnnngh! I want to do something! I want to, but- you're a lawyer! You know how hard it is to overturn a decision!

  • Fine. I will summarize. I knew that Simon Blackquill had in his possession some form of lead on my identity, although I did not know what that lead was precisely. At the beginning of this year I found out that a man called Fulbright was to be transferred to Blackquill's prison as his 'personal carer'. He had few relatives and friends who would notice a change. I acted quickly.
